Was flying on this map for 1st time earlier . For me It was so hard to see what was going on on the ground as there was a haze from the heat . Dno if it's like that all the time or like a weather event for the map.
I had the same issue on xbone. Almost looked like it wasn't rendering the ground right

RangerDave I play on Xbox. Wonder what it’d be like if I were on PC. I’m just gonna say I’ve had more than enough of my fair share of cheap kills, mostly in the Mosquito with the cannon
This is exactly the kind of map you want for Battlefield. Massive field of play, nice amount of vehicles, great terrain, etc. So much room to navigate around. I have been playing since original, Battlefield 1942. I can't wait to see BFV versions of Old school Pacific Maps.
And with Operation Underground hopefully releasing on Okt. 3 for Battlefest we could also get a classic infantry meatgrinder. Plus i want my Madsen

RangerDave the problem with this map is that there are not enough objectives, not enough vehicles and not enough tickets. Kinda boring rn, they should definitely fix that.
Yo Dave! You should totally do some first person only immersive flying. A pilot as good as you could get some absolutely beautiful clips.

Probably the best map in the game now. Irks me to see players complaining that it's too big in chat though, can't believe people play BF and want small maps!
And those people are the same who complained about infantry maps
those are the same COD fans that started playing BF a while back then complained about the minimap, you couldn't see where people were, it was slow, maps were too large, too far to run, reload times are too slow, why can't I heal myself, why are there no Killstreak rewards after 5 kills etc..... Devs sadly listened to them and we ended up with a BF/COD crossbreed. Those same people complaining about close quarters should try COD as it's be more up their street now that COD has added a couple of vehicles and larger maps. I really hope many of those will return so that old skool battelfield fans can get their voices heard again over the COD switchers that ruined it, and perhaps we can then help the DEVS get this game back on track. COD's new game may actually be a blessing to Battlefield.

It's not too big, but it does lack transport vehicles. Even the single player map had more of them spread out.

New maps bring salt to every player because no one really knows the map.
Let’s see how many ways there are to find enemies in BFV and here are some,
1st - just looking
2nd - recons are using flares and the scout scoop
3rd - your team is marking there location
4th - look for traces of bullet fire or moment
Give this to the idiot that thinks your cheating.
Also if you know the map you can spot prone campers

SUBLIS People always salt on a new map because they don’t know how to play it effectively yet. Not a justification for people being idiots and claiming everyone who kills them is hacking just a common thing that often occurs.
Not to mention, when you're playing breakthrough, it's really not that hard to know where the bad guys are.
1 : game still has lightning issues where the sun fucks your vision
2 : all scout players rarely use spot flare gadget even if you ask them too via chat, asking so will make them think/feel they're being picked on.
3 : you can only see squads spots unless a blue team member uses spot flare or spotting scope.
4 : most of the time when you're trying to he helpful and aware youll get team mates screwing you over due to the fact randoms don't bother with team work.
And lastly, fuck those morons asking for a res while being open in gun fire.
The moral story here is, there is no team work. There's only dickheads and twats in a "clan" that ruin balance in this game thus all tactics on being smart won't work but only piss you off if you try too. And there are actually hackers in this game, theres quite a lot of them only because denis from battlefront 2 is working on bf 5. Look it up, he's doing both games.

Operation Underground is hopefully launching in the next week but I wouldn't expect to see any Pacific content for another few months

I absolutely love the map, and the new soundtrack that plays on it is pretty great! I haven't had a round of conquest on it yet, but the rounds of breakthrough that I've played have been both the most fun, and most frustrating I've ever had in this game so far! The last airfield push is truly a sight to behold, but it does suck big time when your attack stalls out and it just turns into a slaughter. It's been a 50/50 experience for me overall. Either your team goes mostly assault and medic, pushes the objectives as a large group and you win, or half of the team picks up their bolt action rifles and camps spawn looking for long range kills. There's some obvious graphical glitches here and there like misplaced rocks and boulders, but overall it's an incredibly fun map and it breaths new life into this desperate game.
I’ve actually had so much fun flying in fighter planes on Al Sundan, it was a good update for us old fans.
1 in 100,000 rounds when your team plays their role and probably changed their role accordingly throughout the match. I don't play BFV but in BF4...you can't even find a squad that works together, let alone a team.
Maybe the same 'ol chat, but that gameplay deserves top marks! MOAR!
That's the difference I'm noticing between bf4 and bf5. Bf4 feels so empty, slow paced. Which isn't necessarily bad. Bf5 is far more balanced in turn of gameplay. It's plagued with bad PR and bugs (even tho I've never experienced any major ones) but it is leagues ahead of bf4 with the new attrition mechanics, syringes/med packs/ammo/repair tools being built into classes instead of having to pick. People no longer glow like bf4 (unfortunately that'll change because people won't stop whining about visibility aka camouflage doing its job). Sorry, I went off topic. Basically I'm saying bf5 has a lot more teamplay, and balanced teamplay at that

In both modes, it has the best choke points, one team dominates the other so easily when you look at the map.
The map is so great it made me realize just how truly awful the other maps are - most of which just feel unplayable after this.

1 or 2 v-rocket per round would be ok, but i see these rockets are out like every minute or two... thats the problem with Battlefield, everything is so unlimited and spawns so fast, Tiger rolling out every minute, Planes coming back like mosquitos, half of the players are probably snipers... its just out of balance and messy. Even Battlefront 2 got these *battlepoints* where you had to earn things and they were not spammed all the time, wonder why they didnt transfered that idea to BF5... such a chaotic game and very arcade, purely made for kids so they just join in and try every kind of weapon in matters of minutes, ofcourse if you would raise the bar a little and make kids wait a little longer it could become too difficult for them... i know Battlefield never was a realistic type of game, but it also never was a 100% arcade bullshit made for kids, well it is now....
V1's have to be earned through points though, and vehicles have timers

Man i really wanna play this map but it appears xbox one is having problems. Keeps disconnecting from the servers and cant even jump in a single game even when it says it is connected. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. This is the first time i have actually been disapointed in this game. I WANNA PLAY!!!!
It's not your Xbox and your connection. It's a bug in the update that's affecting Xbox online. PC also got a bug from the update where the mouse arrow is stuck on the screen while you play the game. There's supposed to be a new update coming pretty soon to fix all bug's so try and be patient
The issue that was causing it for me is pressing the home button just try to avoid using it when playing battlefield and it will work fine.
On ps4, we dont have that problem

I enjoy playing with a tank when the opportunity comes. However, whenever I try and push the objective, it's my team infantry that lets me hanging.
Sometimes team dynamic just doesn't work out, I fear.

I think I didn't get my point across here. I didn't mean that my friends don't play with me. What I meant was that when I push forward with a tank other players of my team often times don't follow and I get sorrounded by enemies. It's the direct opposite of what you were describing. ^^
Also, BFV beats BF1 any day of the week. :P

Man, its almost like not encouraging selfish play by making the maps as close to an old COD map as possible and instead making an actual Battlefield map with wide open spaces is exactly what we wanted DICE!
Seriously, its a noticeable change in tactics and team work when the map isnt condensed down into like 3 corridors. Now if only they'd balance the Air to Ground and Ground to Air combat... AAA batteries desperately need some help against leveled up planes. And Im not talking about the mobile AA, those have perks. The buildable/towable AA guns suck are are little more than a minor annoyance... Plus, the buildables are all in the same fixed positions so the no lifers that fly bombers already know where they are.

This game is trash there isn’t anything DICE and EA can do to bring me back to play this shit game. Easily the worst WW2 themed game. The main battles are no where to be found Stalingrad Normandy nothing. This game was overhyped and it’s shit. Early release bf4 with the net code issues is 100 times better of a game this bf5 will ever be. Might come off as salty but I’ve been playin since bad company 2 dabbled a little bit in 1942 and the older ones so easy to say the I’ve played my fair share of battlefield bf5 takes the icing as the wost battlefield game in my opinion

thats what I wanted from BF... working as a team... I used to always chase after tanks and repairing them in older games... keep the tank alive as it'll get you more tickets and easier to capture flags for your team having one of those around. Healing teammates... I'm also old skool so glad they didn't allow everyone to spot in BF5 as it's would end up like COD and people just checking their minimap to see where everyone was 99% of the time. At least even good gamers can get caught if they don't know someones coming over he hill or round the corner, or if someones in a building, what corner they're at.. etc... I've had BF5 for months but just started playing online about a week ago... been waiting for improvements as I didn't like the gameply/animations etc.. I'm getting slightly more used to it but still having dificulty noticing some people just fet in front of me... and I don't mean lying prone in dark corners. I don't wanna mess around with saturation and brightness on my TV but will need to look into adjusting what I can in game as it can be really frustrating getting killed by someone who's right in front of you. Still finally glad there is a map in this game worthy of the Battlefield name.
1942 was amazing....this is call of duty.
This map is shit on breakthrough. The whole attacking side literally sits on their ass and snipes. Even with the tanks. Sniperalley. Also spawns are terrible. I’ve literally spawned in about 6 times and died within 2 seconds. Another thing is that in this update, I get disconnected from every lobby. Before I was just fine.

I'm not surprised people think that you need a hack to spot infantry on the ground from a plane. I always had a massive draw distance issue that I could never find out. People and vehicles on the ground would not render until I was less than a 100m away.
I loved flying in BF1 but just couldn't do it in BFV because of this issue.
It's not a bad map. New , need to learn favorite areas to get the job done. Tanking is pretty good on it. It can use some more ground vehicles in conquest and breakthrough. Some hard of offense & defense guns would be nice. A couple stationary 88mm on A or the airstrip would be nice. Rooftop Vickers would be cool. Not ones you get sniped as soon as get on.

I'm more of a infantry/tank kind of person,i totally suck in planes 😂😂 but then again i find it hilarious that whenever i finally get access to a tank,half of the enemy team suddenly decides to become an assault and most of their tanks and planes focus on me it seems 😂😂😂 might as well drive an aluminum tank with a giant neon sign saying i'm over here 😂😂😂 great content by the way 😁 i still have a bit to learn and to polish my old skills it seems that supposed anti tank launchers and artillery cannons and dynamite do less damage to tanks than they used to before in other battlefield games 😂 before i left on vacation i was focusing on honing my sniping skills more and leveli the recon to the max then i'll go for assault and finally support 😁

Squad teamwork is the key to Battlefield if you don't follow orders and stick together support the members of your squad and the team you are a COD kid a lone wolf outcast staring at your screen oblivious to everything else happening in the game

If you want to play a game that is Similar in feel to the sqaud and teamwork gameplay, get "Squad" on steam.

When I ever play planes I can't see any guys on the ground I just wait to see a point getting captured then I'll fire the rockets to where I think they would be hiding

not to be a history freak..... but the churchill is a trench tank and the reason why it has a so top speed of 20 kph is that people can march behind the tank and use the tank as a push up vehicle
When you get a good team then you want to help the team as much as u can
But if your team is just camping and doing nothing I wouldn't want help them

Too little too late for me, unfortunately. I might pick the game back up for Pacific but I doubt it.
