  • Agricultural Cooperative Göritz is an incredibly versatile agricultural business. They grow 3600 hectares of arable crops, some of which are fed to their dairy herd and used to power the on-site biogas plant. In this two-part report, we follow the team in spring and autumn (Part 1) while they are taking care of their field work with modern tractors from Claas, Case IH and John Deere. In this video, we will also be taking a look at the cooperative’s partnership with agricultural machinery dealers Steinhage Landtechnik Prenzlau. Very interesting video, thank you for following up on a part 2. The molasses addative for the forage harvesting is really unique, I have never seen that before. Looking forward to... part 3?

Treuhand did not always play nicely when they enabled these massive Cooperative farms to be created back in the 90s, there is an interesting documentary on Germany TV about it.
