@@Insane_Kane That's true, but there are also a lot of published art book that have way worse arts in it. Maybe she's just not feeling confident right now
To Kiara’s point about Ina making progress so fast: I saw a video a while back of an artist trying to draw along with Ina (I think it was a self portrait with cherry trees). The guy had to give up trying to go at her speed. He ended up being able to get a result that looked similar in quality to hers- after 10 hrs of work. Ina completed the original in 2hrs, while interacting with chat. She’s a speed demon when it comes to art.
Considering that she's a freelance artist in her spare time, time is definitely of the essence for her, so getting things done quick is something that she probably picked up over the years.
Man, come to think of it, Ina lives the smooth life of a nerdy artist. She basically get paid to draw her friends' characters! Though in this case, her friends are the characters.
yeah it do be like that sometimes. At one time you're watching Ina starting a sketch. Then you look away for a minute, then you saw Ina already finish the base colours
I love Ina. I don't know why Ina always doubts herself, always going like "I don't know if this is good" or "I don't know if I can do this". Yet Ina always makes these masterpieces 💜💜. Ina is so precious❤.
I like the way she draw in her streaming has changed in these three years, back then she drew the sketch, then the lineart and finally the coloring (shading), now, she draws the sketch and then she lineart and shading at the same time, the way she does this is similart like some artist such as @hungryclicker
exept the crossguard, it should be flipped so that it angles upwards instead of downwards and that really bothers me. also that is definetly longer than a bastard sword
@@davidzalesak9639 I had to catch up on my Skallagrim. I should have called called it a longsword. I think the guard works better on Ina's drawing than the original by SWAV because Ina missed the decorations that would lead to blades getting caught unpredictably.
@@AngelsLance Nah you're good, "bastard sword" and "longsword" basically refer to the same thing anyway. Medieval European sword terminology wasn't exactly a science lmao Kiara calls her sword a "claymore" in this clip, and judging from the official model sheet that sounds about right to me (it's almost as long as she is tall lol) But for Ina's rendition I'd say "bastard sword"/"longsword" sounds about right; the two-handed hilt makes it a bit confusing but assuming the sword has roughly the same proportions as the official design its overall length would probably be comparable to a bastard sword. I don't think it's big enough to qualify as a two-hander. To be honest even in its original scale I don't think Kiara's claymore would be particularly impractical (besides the crossguard, which should be flipped upside-down like the other guy said). As far as fantasy designs go it's surprisingly grounded imo, sure the blade is super long but it's also pretty slim and narrow and the extra-long hilt helps with leverage too.
When I look at Ina's drawing and any other artist she collabs with...it's like her art is on a completely different level. She's like actually insanely good...
"Sword could be a bit bigger still." Confirmed, Kiara wants to be swinging around the Dragonslayer like a certain man with Guts. Just like her old friend Gotz.
What I wouldn't give to have one tenth the talent Ina has. I used to love drawing. But I had a really garbage art teacher in third year who just slapped the enthusiasm out of me. I never got back into it.
@@apolloisnotashirt Funnily there actually are extremely long swords that had a long handle and an additional area around the base of the blade above the guard where you could grip the sword to better control it in some situations. So they could be considered Dreihänder. Some original samples of them are displayed in the Bayrischen Armeemuseum (Bavarian Army Museum) in Ingolstadt.
She doesn't need to. She's already doing it professionally. She drew for a lot of popular gachas. And even one of official character artists for some of them.
Ina is such a treasure. Good artist, great friend.
Spicy back also
It’s crazy how Ina expressed some doubts that her skills warranted a published art book while drawing this. She’s awesome.
Nah its not crazy, were not of a high enough level to even perceive the vast differences of skill she sees.

Imposter syndrome at it's finest.

Ina is so good at drawing.
Google translated this to “mother is so good at drawing.” 😅 but I agree with you tho ina is an amazing artist

I set this as my phone wallpaper. It always cheer me up when I check my phone.
Ina did super well on that sword, it's proportioned like a real weapon and looks like something Kiara could handle as a bastard sword.

Ina didn't design the sword. It's from Kiara's latest outfit model

Ngl, I'd want to see a Zweihander wielding Kiwawa
Kiara said that because the artist who designed her knight outfit drew her dual wielding claymores.
