On another note I hope we get Dan Ashworth as Sporting Director and Paul Mitchell as head of recruitment, a board consisting of Blanc, Ashworth, Mitchell and a good head coach (hope ten hag can turn it around) will be the start of a true new era
It won't be easy to bring Ashworth in but my god he's among the best in his field & with Sir Jim prepared to pay whatever it takes to bring him in it'll be a real coup bringing him in as our new Sporting Director with Paul Mitchell Head of Recruitment. Even better that Brailsford is very close with him so hopefully can sway him to join us. These two along with Jean Claude Blanc plus Sir Dave Brailsford our football club will be under proper people that'll no doubt transform us into a serious club once again & I'm all for it
You can really feel the effort you put into this video. Your lunchtime videos aren't bad by any means but this is a big step up in terms of production value.
I don't think he'll leave Newcastle. The Independent is reporting he wants to continue at Newcastle. So I think this video is jumping to the conclusion that its a easy link up.

He sounds ideal and he will hopefully be able to sort out the team(s) under is control. Our scouting has not been the best for a long while and the money that we get for players we let go is poor. Fingers crossed he can get all these things sorted out, if he is appointed
Great video Are you aware that Ashworth & Brailsford have known each other for at least a decade And that Ashworth invited Brailsford to Newcastle to give a talk to staff? It happened over a year ago with Ashworth introducing Brailsford as "the best sports performance director ever" or words to that effect

And since the rumour mill has rolling about Ashworth there has not been a single pushback from either the owners of Newcastle or Ashworth himself Until I see or hear from them (or a journalist who follows the Toon) it would be fair to assume that Ashworth to United is a possibility

@@tomaharbowx The news that I read from dedicated NUFC journos is that there is a problem with the vetting of transfers, similar to what we have been experiencing with the Glazers I also am listening to the chatter within my chosen field of sports performance (which is why I knew more about Brailsford's involvement with the British Olympic Association - aka Team GB). The sports media spend little to no time talking to us nerds!
@@kermit63 brailsford is looking more and more like a busted flush... the ineos cycling team have stagnated badly.. increasingly so since ratcliffe's involvement... team gb cycling has suffered a similar decline in fortunes... whether he will suddenly find his mojo again in an unfamiliar sport which is not as close to his heart is questionable... added to this the independent interview published yesterday in which ashworth poured a bit of cold water on any possible move... not sure this is something that will happen or even... on the outside chance that it does.... necessarily work..
If we get Dan and Paul Mitchel, it will complete what on paper looks like the best management structure in England. That is exactly what I expect to have at the biggest club in England.

This is my favourite MU channel, real content. Not just daily gossip with endless requests to subscribe and like. For me that constant hectoring gets very boring. Considered pieces like this are the thing that fans need. Not "Romano says this" or "Ornstein says that". Yes, transfer news is interesting, but reposting "Ugarte personal terms agreed" for 3 consecutive days and dressing it up like it's new information is just scamming the fans. Keep up the excelkent work. Good narration voice, too. That helps, believe me!!

This is why I’m happy with Sir Jim. He’s a well respected knighted gentleman that was always going to attracted the best of the best the English had to offer. I didn’t want Manchester to turn foreign with Qatar. It might take till the summer but we are undoubtedly on the way back to the top

in Manchester united online fan channels all seem to base content on negative or false news but i am glad sam you are providing us such content i didnt really know anything about Dan Ashworth hopefully he can be in Mufc board
People keep on spreading misinformation about Ashworth, he had nothing to do with Botman, his first transfer window were he did anything for Newcastle was last year's January transfer Window, and the only signing was Gordon who was already a target for Newcastle before Ashworth was there
United definitely need to chase Dan Ashworth as Sporting Director of Manchester United but I am firmly of the belief that United need to appoint a technical director and an Academy director as well. Bring in Dan Ashworth as Sporting Director. Paul Mitchell s Technical Director Bring in former Barcelona and La Macia Academy Director Pep Segura as Academy Director. United also need to overhaul the scouting department. United have whiffed on so many players and while alot of the blame goes to the directors and managers at the time, the scouting department need to find hidden gems rather than huge fee players United also need to bring back Sir Alex Ferguson and former chairman David Gill into the fold as active consultants and board members who will push standards at United and get United back to the level of excellence they once had.
