    I live in Southern Arizona (USA) in a smaller city. Watching your channel has made me desire to eventually move out to the country side and live off the land so to speak.
    I love your channel, and I always learn something new!

    Unfortunately, I don't have a yard to have a garden and to make things worse, I live in the desert here in California where it is hard to make plants grow. After long days, watching your videos relax me and it truly inspires me to one day move to a place where I can own land with very fertile soil to have my own garden and eat the food that comes from it. Please continue these videos! ☺🌸🌱

    It's lovely to follow your year in the garden and to compare and contrast what's happening in my tiny city garden. My black currents are almost ready! And thanks to Tim for the informative video essay on why he is no longer a commercial beekeeper. I am impressed by the idea that different plants need different pollinators. Thanks to the both of you for sharing your knowledge and experience.

    I'm told you should wait to harvest the figs until they look fairly... umm... scrotum-ish. ;)
    What a great garden you guys have. As a city dweller for decades, I miss truly fresh veggies the most. There's something amazing about a harvest that still has the dew on it that you can't replace.
    Thanks!

    Your home and garden are just magical.
    I used to be able to grow just about anything when I lived in a temperate zone and really took that for granted. I now live in the sub-tropics and can't keep anything alive. I'll get my green fix online until I move back to a more hospitable climate.

      I have enjoyed his channel for some time and even had a go at a mini aquaponics system. Last year we did have an extended heatwave that was so bad I hung my washing on an indoor clothes line and only dashed outside for a few seconds to take it out. My plants had no chance. I think Queenslanders are a bit more heat hardy than me but I'm eyeing up my seed collection again. The gardening bug is a persistent critter.

    Your European style oven ranges are very different from what we have here in the States. I'm always very curious on how they work. How about a video on that? What are all the covers and shields for? And they seem to be very small. How does one cook a big meal on one? No Thanksgiving turkey I suppose?

    • @WayOutWestx2
      @WayOutWestx2  7 років тому +10

      Or maybe ours is the right size? and the ones you have in the States are ENORMOUS!
      I remember thinking as a child (when I was told those ovens were for thanksgiving) "does everyone climb in to eat their dinner inside?!"

The 'big' garlic (called 'elephant' garlic here in PNW-USA) will seed about, I can assure you! And you've nudged me to get evening primrose back in my garden :) Thank you, Sandra ox
