  • Aaron’s on the road again! He visits Bluff, Utah, to learn how a group of graduate students gets hands-on for their final project.
The DesignBuildUTAH@Bluff program partners with the Navajo Nation to provide affordable, sustainable housing to a Diné recipient.
Aaron tours the site and discovers how the students overcame unique design challenges, gained valuable insight into the build process, and created an inclusive creative community.

Great work everyone! Nothing is better than hands-on learning. I have been using SketchUp for years, and I do design-build. Love SketchUp for so many reasons. But, its ease of use is my number one reason. Thanks

Hi Aaron, you had a very good idea to present this project. And the way the teachers chose to teach the students is extraordinary. Thank you!

Terrific. Thank you for this design build show and tell. I love the interaction between the designers/builders/students and the homeowners and community. Bravo❤️

I'm sure these students will never forget what they have learned.
9:02 Aaron was using what he learned from Sketchup (rotate, move, scale and push-pull) to make the perfect Pizza.
9:25 Unfortunately he forgot to increase the number of the sides 😁
    Thanks Aaron!

This is a really great idea for bridging theory and practice. There's often a significant gap between theoretical knowledge and its practical application, and approaches like this help to close that divide. In practice, it's especially clear how important it is not only to understand theoretical concepts but also to be able to apply them effectively. The video could have been a bit longer, I would have loved to see more!
