I wouldn't think it to be anything but metal, but with it being black and some of the features I saw, I had to ask; not to mention it being an "entry level" and some companies make bad decisions in an effort to lower costs to get sales up. I wouldn't think Tissot would do such a thing, but you never know these days.

@@kutter_ttl6786 hmmm, for that price I wonder if it's possible to replace the swissmatic movement with a different ETA movement altogether, one that IS serviceable in the future... I own the T106.407.11.031.00 and it's a great quality piece. It feels sturdy and well-built, and it looks absolutely gorgeous IMO. I'm just slightly disappointed with the movement.
