I like this unit. It gives a spot to lounge other than the dining table. The rear twin gives a sleeping area away from park roadways and people walking by. The kitchen is a little small but the kitchen table can be used as a prep area. The overhead storage makes up for no pantry.
We LOVE this floor plan and are picking up our new 2023 28' FC tomorrow (!!). Thank you for doing this video, as this is the first we've seen for the 2023 28' FC RBQ. Yes, there is a trade-off for certain aspects of the trailer, but what sold us where more manual options with the awnings and stabilizer jacks, big windows on the camp side (just keep the one by the door closed if the door is open), and the separate lounge and dinette area. Funny that your title says "Cheaper Pottery Barn" as we initially looked at the PB but decided against it as it's 100% electric and the fabric sofa is a non-starter in the rainy PNW where we live. We've compared both models and will do some modifications to give our FC some PB aesthetics. Great and informative video!

What can't they do a 30RB with the dinette on the Camp Side? Who wants the big picture windows looking at your neighbor's campsite?
Love our 28FCT, the cabinets over the dinette serve as our pantry. Counter space is larger than our previous 25. Dinette is roomy, watching tv from the sofa is better. Easily accommodates company with large lounge and roomy dinette. 👍
Beautiful. Love the couch at the entry way - use the screen door and it would be like sitting in a screen porch.

I prefer the 28RB over the 27FB. I actually like the layout slightly more of the 28RB over the 30RB. But I do agree that I wish they did some sort of pantry and even though I love the panoramic windows in the bedroom now the wardrobe cabinets in older models where so nice for the additional clothes storage.
For us - give me the 28RB. Must have twin beds though.

Sorry forgot to mention….the bedroom, FB has the bed facing East to west, that is another reason you don’t have the space in the kitchen.

Every Airstream is excellent. We like the rear bedroom. We're waiting for the day when Air Stream reintroduces the 23cb.
I would love for them to bring back the 23CB. I think they could have it along side the 23FB Flying Cloud!

idgi. the pottery barn is 50k more expensive than this for some interior decor upgrades? kinda sucks since the international is also gimped so as not to outdo PB so it's only slightly better. whole 28rb line sucks because PB exists.
The pottery barn does have the upgraded Smart Czone system like the Classic and powered stabilizer. There is more to it than only the decor, but with that said you do have to really want that decor upgrade to justify the price difference!
What took away the pantry is that L shape sofa and the storage behind it…bad setup. I myself would not buy this model, the 25FB has the counter space, the pantry, storage space, better bathroom, and can still sleep 6.
We love that shelf behind the sofa, it has storage and also a place to put remotes, tissues, a catchall for flashlight and playing cards. It's great! There is plenty of pantry space over the dinette. We left a 25 for this!
