I'm sorry, but this movie was bad. This movie made a character to simply sell music, that is it. This movie had music just to promote a Japanese singer so hard, it just a commercialized film. What was the point of showing Gear 5 had no point what's so ever also, involving shanks it doesn't fit at all. I don't care about the music at all because I know this movie was a big promotion to make a Japanese singer popular if you can't see the hard obvious reason why they had her, you are blind.

I think the most cringest part of one piece film red were the scripts. Every script of our favorite chatacters felt very unlikely and very akward. Starting from Usopp who call Uta a proncess whom he didn't even called Vivi a princess to Robin questioning" Luffy knows Uta?". The lines were somehow lazy and made every character including Uta dumb and boring to watch. WTF Japan?
I liked that a lot of characters worked together but the singing and dancing was annoying and it's a lot lmao and the villain is a demon song using Uta. And Sunny voiced by 4kidz Chopper epic lol
for someone who watch one piece and love musical it is 7-8.5ish/10 for me.. it's very subjective.. i understand people when they say it lacked action and shanks moments were trash.. but i will always pick a sad solid story than showing skills that we will definitely see in future! ❤

This pretty much hyped Shanks as a character with many theories that he is a Celestial Dragon giving a reason why the Five Elders are tolerant of the Red-Haired Yonko. Either that or he is the son of Rocks D. Xebec. The problem is that Oda casually revealed how Shanks joined the Roger Pirates. The point is that One Piece Film RED is inconsistent, Tot-Musica weirdness, Uta's devil fruit is too over-powered, etc. Plus, we barely got Shanks at all and many people came to watch the film to learn more about Shanks. They did but just for 10 minutes. This is how I would've structured One Piece Film RED below: 1. Shanks finds Uta in a chest. 2. We have brief time jumps of Uta growing up, Shanks hilariously failing as a father at times, and Shanks becoming a better father to Uta. 3. Shanks attacks a Cipher Pol ship and steals the Gomu Gomu Fruit not knowing why the World Government has it so entrusts Lucky Roux with it. 4. Uta and the Red Haired Pirates arrive at the Gou Kingdom and meet Luffy. 5. All the Uta Childhood scenes in the Uta Childhood arc episodes are shown with less rapid time jumps. 6. Uta and Shanks leave the Goa Kingdom and head to Elegia where Uta is dropped off. In my version, Elegia is not destroyed for Tot Musica reasons. 7. Shanks tells Luffy of Uta in Elegia. Luffy cries but gets over it over time. 8. Time jumps to the present day with Shanks seeing Uta's performance as a dva on live television. Shanks mentions he will see Uta and later Luffy soon. 9. Film ends with Shanks heading to a land with waterfalls as walls (Wano though not mentioned). It is not wrong to show the Red-Haired Pirates' fighting skills. The reason is that the flashback Red-Haired Pirates aren't powerful compared to their modern counterparts (10-12 years after Red-Haired Pirates officially left the Goa Kingdom). This doesn't destroy the hype of revealing the skills, Haki, and devil fruits of the Red-Haired Pirates in the manga. Doing this can make many fans who watch the film can say, "Look how much our boys have grown!!!" Overall, I like Oda's storytelling skills. However, he made a mistake with One Piece RED and kind of ruined the significance Uta could've played in future One Piece stories.
What more do we want? WE WANTED TO SEE LUFFY AND SHANKS TALK, FIGHT TOGETHER, WE THOUGHT LUFFY AND SHANKS WERE GONNA AT LEAST DO SOMETHING AFTER YEARS!!! I finally turned it off after watching an hour, every line of dialogue just felt forced in to accelerate the plot it felt so nonsensical like there was ZERO breathing room like the pacing is out of the window, like they just glued a cinderblock to the fucking gas pedal, thats the pacing of the movie
I loved the movie I did. It was happy. It was beautiful. It was sweet. There was fighting but it was so sad. I cried so much and my favorite part out of this whole movie. It was not dhanks or the straw hats My favorite thing in this whole movie is the sunny. Oh, my goodness, I am obsessed. How cute is the sunny in this movie? I want sunny Teddy bears did. I don't want ugly ones. I want them just a cute and soft. As I imagine like a Squish mellows I want it so bad. And I am debating on learning how to so just why create it for myself lol But yeah, I could definitely see why they killed her off. She hasn't waged much power way to watch. Control over everyone if she wanted with just The sound of her voice. But yeah, I don't know if. It's my hormones I cried a lot. It was very soft. They're always making me get watery eyes😅
