I really like it Julie. When you revealed it my first thought was a sunflower and then I thought a Dahlia. Either way, it’s really lovely. I like the difference from the middle to the outer rim because the middle looks like new petals whereas the outer looks like petals fully open. You are a harsh critic on yourself. This is a beautiful piece of art. I’d love to see it completed at the clock it was meant to be. A very happy mistake I reckon. 🌼🌻👍🏻🌺🌴

I absolutely LOVE the middle!!! Everything you were disappointed in looks so beautiful in its own way. I know the outside petals have that more ethereal look but the pinkish and brown and pale center has an earthy feel that looks really amazing to me!! I was blown away when you revealed it so it was a bit funny that you didn't see what you hoped for. I'm loving your videos :) Thank you for sharing your creativity!

The center looks like a bloom of irises, and the outside is daisy-like. It may not be what you were going for, but it's still beautiful. Resin does what resin wants, and we are but the (sometimes) lucky recipient of their physics.
The center petals look curled like a Dahlia blossom. I am so glad it didn’t have that dark brown center. That would have made it look like a sunflower which it isn’t. It may not be what you envisioned but it is gorgeous.

I still love it, it's beautiful! If you look at the middle part where you added more ink and white at the end it bloomed behind everything. I think you are right with the thought things weren't hot enough but either way it's still pretty and I would hang it on my wall 😊

Julie it's beautiful just the way it is I think you should finish it and make it into a clock! ❤️ To me when you turn it over it looked like trumpet flowers in the center or like someone else said maybe the opening of a dahlia but I honestly truly think this is gorgeous I've seen some of the ones where you said they fell and they look like blobs and this to me doesn't look like that. I've been watching you for a while over a year now and I love everything you make ☺️❤️

Julie, I feel you are a typical perfectionist. You knew how you wanted it to look and since it fell short, it didn’t measure up. I like everyone else, think it is a happy accident, because like in nature most things aren’t perfect. I get it though, I know what you were going for, so I get the disappointment, but if I was some random person who just saw the reveal and didn’t have the volume on, I would just think, what a beautiful clock!

Hi Julie, I along with everyone else think this is beautiful, I love the colours you have chosen. Could it be that one pot of your white resin was thicker than the other and was to heavy, it seem where the part is you are unhappy with was the first pot of white. Still think this would look beautiful as a clock. Amazing piece. 🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺

I love it and knowing why sometimes I get blobs was very helpful....so it sounds like I need to wait until my resin reaches about 100 degrees F. I usually let it sit for 20-30 minutes before starting the drops. I have a temp sensor that is an infra red one (star trek...lol). I want to try a clock...I need a clock for my resin corner. I have a stained glass one right now but I no longer play with stained glass (did that for 6 years) so it's time for a new one! So glad to see more of your videos! You have inspired and taught me!
Don’t be so hard on yourself. It was a wonderful start. The outside petals as you mentioned are much more delicate and obvious as petals than the center however the center still has good color. I hope you figure out the remedy because the clock mold is wonderful. Good luck
Julie, I agree with all of your fans, this turned out really beautiful. I love the color combination, which surprised me. I don't normally like brown, but it looks great next to the pink. You are a profectionist and are too hard on yourself. Love this clock and I love watching your videos. ❤
The 4 rows of bloomed petals are fantastic. Interesting the way the center didn't bloom. ? I'm sure you'll figure it out. I think somebody that didn't know what you wanted would still love it. xoxo
