My Uncle who just died almost a year ago recommended this movie to me and I really loved it (even if I didn't watch the anime) and I almost forgot about this movie because of busyness and grieve but now finally finding and hearing this song again just feels so Heartwarming to my soul
Whoever thought of removing the vocals for the movie is a genius in business. Curiosity hits people and they want to hear Koyuki's vocals, so they feel the need to buy the soundtrack for the movie. I'm irritated but at the same time, I love the lack of a vocal track.
Cristian Coelho Actually the song is originally by Spank Page, and was used in the movie. The vocals were taken out because everyone has their own idea of "perfect" vocals so it worked better for the film. Go check out Spank Page's other stuff, they're an amazing band.

i just watched this movie for the 20th time..it makes me feel the importance of friendship despite hardships..and it entails the true vision of how a band should be..i can feel the lyrics of the song...i think Sato portrayed the role very well despite not being a singer...if you watched it very carefully before every song the movie itself is the lyrics...
I don't mind the muting of Koyuki's voice in earlier parts of the movie, but it would've been amazing if they had him sing in the final song. It would've been really impactful. Still enjoyed it though.

I eagerly found this song because they muted Koyuki's vocal even till the end of the movie. I expected a lot about the vocal, and this was awesome! I think it was manipulated because of my expectation, but it's still beautiful and fit to the movie. I can feel the moving from this song in the movie.
I'd like to hear Sato Takeru sing this...! When I watched the movie for the first time I hoped till the last concert and song that they would let us hear Koyuki. It wouldn't have to be really the perfect voice, just a good one made "movie-perfect" with a touching scene and crowds in awe. I do understand why they decided to do it the way they did, but it just didn't work for me.

I was also kind of underwhelmed at first when they didn't include the vocals in the movie, but i think thematically it wouldn't have fit.
