I remember whilst working for the Met Police, there was a big fight in the Mosque which was 10 minutes away from the now closed Nick. When they got there they went in and stopped the fight (there were weapons, large bats and sticks etc) The Iman said they should have taken their shoes off first, so the Inspector said next time we will take our shoes off (which obviously would take time)

The Muslims are full of energy, enthusiasm and high standards. They believe in public service and love for others, as Islam encourages it.
One of the projects British Muslims have been participating in and indeed leading in is the Christmas Hampers for the elderly. Yes Muslims are at it again and, although Christmas is a few months away, they are busy collecting names of people so that no one is missed out for December deliveries.
God bless the Muslims for this noble cause...

Even this way it makes no sense. If a person emmigrated to a country he has to live by their laws and not try to change them. No one has ever come to a country and tried that country to live by their own laws of the country they left, that doesn't make sense, so why try and even suggest to change things and that by supposedly an intelligent man. Try to build a church or synagogue in Saudi Arabia - Sharia Law will sort you out.

Good question, in Islam there is no priesthood or 'popehood' but there are authoritative scholars of past and present who have a consensus on 'how' the shari'ah should be implemented in the context of place, time and people conditions that exist. Fundamentals do not change but Islam is dynamic enough upon crucial secondary and tertiary matters to make a tangible difference.

It's a fair cop, I've little knowledge of Shari'ah. However, I've been informed by reliable sources that women carry less weight than men under this system. Equality of all under law is as close to sacred as anything can get for me, and I fight against any attempt to disrupt this. I'm well aware of many secular underminings of this principle and I hate them all. Can you tell me beyond doubt that all are equal under Shari'ah? I'm a reasonable guy and will change my opinion in response to facts.
