Caddy's Switch comparison video is actually the one thing that had me make up my mind about buying a Switch Lite. And I totally agree with everything because it's a lovely piece of machinery and although I only have Smash Ultimate right now, I absolutely love how convenient it is for everything.
i got a Switch Lite too, i only have Hades and a few arcade beat em ups so far but it is an awesome piece of hardware. i hope someday i can use it to run emulation like a PSP. 😄👍
I'd only buy it for Metroid Dread, because I waited for that 19 years but after playing a demo on my friend's Switch... nah. Switch controller is terrible, the gameplay was wank and 2D game played with a joystick is a sin.

36:09 (I completely understand that this is an opinion, I'm giving advice) In splatoon, it doesn't have to be slow. you have power ups for run speed up and swim speed up, plus a bunch of other things that make the gameplay easier. If you find it slow, try changing your controls to motion, stick is slow at first. Or maybe change your stick/motion sensitivity to a higher setting? The lobby matching is awful, I agree, and a lot of experienced players complain too. I'm level 72 and sometimes I get paired with level 20 lobbys, and it's really easy and I end up leaving the lobby because it's just boring. Splatoon is one of those games where if you don't know much about it, then you won't enjoy it. I probably would have stopped playing if I didn't join discord servers and got advice for the game btw, the reason you find it annoying to have to be stuck being slow whilst shooting is that you seem to be a beginner, judging my the footage. You're walking around whilst shooting the gun without swimming as much as you should, and that's completely fine! I did it, the pros did it, we all did. The swimming mechanic is hard to get used to in splatoon, as it's not in any other games. Maybe if you want to paint a lot, try a weapon with a faster fire rate. You can check the weapons by pressing LR on the weapon in the equip menu
Splatoon as a whole looks like utter shit not to mention extremely unappealing character designs. I'll necer understand how anyone can like those games or other online shooters. Terrible.

Caddy legitimately HATES everything he has done before starting his "World of" series. To paraphrase a post from his twitter account for most of his youtube career he treated it like he was an actual professional video game critic and this attitude almost drove his channel into the ground and put him into a dark place. The thing that saved him was him letting go of that attitude and just focusing on being funny. So he has marked everything before "The World of" series as {OLD} to separate the two eras. We should be grateful that is as far as he went since apparently he was seriously considering just nuking all his old videos before settling on just tagging them.
Damn, well I kind of understand that. This is his art station, and preference changes over time. I've made some art posts in the past and deleted all of the ones I hated because I changed completely, so I guess he feels the same to a degree.

In regards to the Death Stranding review, the reason for the 'raider' like enemies is much dumber. At least from what I gathered, they are people who went insane with wanting to deliver things them self.

Death Stranding is a very contemplative experience I think the game is extremely aware of what it is and it kinda mocks you in the form of Higgs and Cliff I did find it enjoyable personally to get new equipment to make the long treks easier and getting to the next story bits I feel are rewarding I am kinda looking forward to the directors cut because what’s more bat shit than a racing game and riding on a robot when you’re supposed to help people through a apocalyptic world lol But at the same time I completely understand why the game isn’t exactly what people want

the original iteration of the caddicarus show, and other series and videos from 2012-2019 been labeled as [OLD], that's to help differentiate between the older version of the show, and the reboot of the caddicarus show that started in January of 2020, and the [OLD] label has been there for a couple of years now

Just noticed a couple of the videos are now called [OLD] (like this one and every season collection), if that means you'll re-review the games like Klonoa, that'd be cool, but it doesn't really make sense to list entire season collections as 'old'.
I'm curious if you've decided to take this channel and do a few changes. I'm only a recent viewer so I don't know if you've done something like this before.

Caddy legitimately HATES everything he has done before starting his "World of" series. To paraphrase a post from his twitter account for most of his youtube career he treated it like he was an actual professional video game critic and this attitude almost drove his channel into the ground and put him into a dark place. The thing that saved him was him letting go of that attitude and just focusing on being funny. So he has marked everything before "The World of" series as {OLD} to separate the two eras. We should be grateful that is as far as he went since apparently he was seriously considering just nuking all his old videos before settling on just tagging them.
Damn, well I kind of understand that. This is his art station, and preference changes over time.
I've made some art posts in the past and deleted all of the ones I hated because I changed completely, so I guess he feels the same to a degree.

14:35 I remember the “Magic Railroad” movie with Alec Baldwin and I remember being scared of one of the set pieces that had a really grotesque smiling face in the side of a rock face on a little mountain. I was already terrified of Diesel-10 and Pinchy so that just added to my fear of that movie. And I think that movie was the only time that set piece was used.
Edit: yes, I was right it was only in that movie because it’s when Diesel carves his face into the wall.

In regards to the Death Stranding review, the reason for the 'raider' like enemies is much dumber. At least from what I gathered, they are people who went insane with wanting to deliver things them self.
Yeah, due to humanity's dependency on automation, deliverers were driven mad and decided to instead steal other deliverer's packages for themselves.

Death Stranding is a very contemplative experience I think the game is extremely aware of what it is and it kinda mocks you in the form of Higgs and Cliff I did find it enjoyable personally to get new equipment to make the long treks easier and getting to the next story bits I feel are rewarding I am kinda looking forward to the directors cut because what’s more bat shit than a racing game and riding on a robot when you’re supposed to help people through a apocalyptic world lol But at the same time I completely understand why the game isn’t exactly what people want

Can someone please explain why so many of Caddicarus' videos suddenly have the word old in the title? I tried checking community but I couldn't find anything even after scrolling for close to like 10 minutes.
the original iteration of the caddicarus show, and other series and videos from 2012-2019 been labeled as [OLD], that's to help differentiate between the older version of the show, and the reboot of the caddicarus show that started in January of 2020, and the [OLD] label has been there for a couple of years now
I’m so happy with the new style of videos,cause this is kinda boring
same here. there were some standouts, but overall the original series really started losing its appeal in the later seasons IMO.
