Sesshomaru is a complex character. He isnt evil at all. He doesnt kill needlessly, its mainly a means to accomplish his larger goals. He actually turns out to be good; teaming up with Inuyasha and friends to finally defeat Naraku, accepting Inuyasha and even Kagome. He forms a kind of loose bond with the group. Towards the end of the series he even stands guard over Kagome, protecting her when shes knocked over a cliff by demon-form Inuyasha and left unconscious. He also saves the the group from
He probably also loved his father, but didn't want to show it, loved his mother and resented the fact that she never showed it, resented Inuyasha not only because his father died saving him and his mother, but that Inuyasha had a mother that always showed him how much she loved him. And to top that all off he in fact does love his brother, but has no idea that he does! Yup...I LOVE Sesshie, but Sesshie's got issues!
There are a few parts from the fourth movie, Fire On The Mystic Island, mostly at the beginning of this vid. That also has a good plot, though there isn't nearly enough Sesshomaru in that movie--but again, he takes the prize for "awesome."
Okay 1st team Sesshomaru all the way! 2nd i'm the only one who thinks they should make series for Rin and Sesshomaru? In fact I think WE SHOULD demand one. Cuz its Sesshomaru and one can never go wrong with Sesshomaru. Love the vid by the way.>_<
His mother is very much alive and believe me she is nothing like Rin! She is actually almost exactly like Sesshoumaru, only colder. For instance when she saw him with Rin she asked if he was planning to eat her! I think that he admired his father's strength and power but resented and was genuinely puzzled by his "heart".
@Aztecangle one can never go wrong with Sesshomaru. Unless you get on his bad side, attack him and think you can live through it. Then you went wrond with him. XD
There are 4 seasons (500+ episodes, most of which is made up of non-canon filler) and then the Final Act (which comprises of about 24 episodes that follow the last few volumes, no bullshit filler, just straight up canon goodness!!).
I love how Sesshomaru thinks of the people he protects then says he protects nothing. And that's true. He does not protect something. He protects someONE. And not just someone. He protects Rin, Jaken, Ah-Un, later Kohaku, and also in that movie, and other times too, InuYasha. =D
I know this is a year old, but in case people don't know she has already finished and published the last episode of the manga. I'm not sure what the episode/volume the anime goes up to though. I've heard that there are more episodes than Adult Swim shows here though.
Great song and a great video. This is a perfect song for Sesshomaru. Though i wouldn'y compare him to Itachi, as Sesshomaru has character developement and compasion towards humans that grows through out the stroy... Still a great video and a nice use of images to blend with the song. Good job. ^_^
