I’ve been watching competitive Starcraft casually for nearly 15 years. Watching Byun dismantle sOs to cap off this season will always remain my greatest Starcraft memory. One of the most inspiring and hype runs of all time.
Those vikings control looked so simple, damit ByuN now other terrans should be ashamed.. The most difficult race e.g. terran (I am master random) creates the most insaine players.. Well done brother.
It is not difficult btw. Especially vs colosses WITHOUT range and no storms. It is pretty straight forward and doesn't demand even so much of APM. SoS is just not good enough. MB because he was nervous. Mb for some other reason.

yeah... that's how I'm feeling. This is tough to watch now. Even though I've played more SC2 (and more recently), the game still is not as deep. There's just not much to learn even from the highest level... It's sad because the explosions and the graphics are pretty cool, but I mean it just isn't as interesting as it could be. Blizzard still has a chance to re-balance it though.

You're right. I didn't notice that the first time watching that battle. I'm not sure if it would be enough for SoS to win that battle though but Byun certainly wouldn't have snowballed over him after that battle as easily.
Wow. Tank drops, libs and burrowed mines make terran so OP. I applaud byun for using good ol' MMM like in the WoL days while everything else is absolutely absurd

Rex Wu Still going to lose several SCVs with a cyclone... so widow mine is much cheaper and is final. Usually Terran gets marines, maybe turrets, or a cyclone, and then the oracle is deflected but not killed. It survives to plague T for much of the rest of the game, revelating his army and slowing up production by picking off SCVs. Best just definitely kill it 1st time, which will only happen with a mine.
Annoying comments and biased too .I have watched a lot of starcraft II matches and in 99% of them , when SOS was playing , they always have some bad comments against SOS . Why ? I don't know. Even Byun won . SOS is the better player . These dudes forgot who was the two time world champion ? There could be a lot of waht SOS could or couldn't do . I'm not a pro gamer but I've played Starcraft since the begining of the game, not all the time but in some LAN parties . If SOS would spend that large amount of resources on units ( army ) that could be so easy for him to win. He could make : much more Void race then Colosus . Archons as well to buffer , High templars etc.. But it seems that is not the player that he used to be like in 2013 , 2014 or 2015 . If he tried in the second to make only Pheonixes that shoud be do it . He was overwhelmed by Byun tactics . Byun had the will to won , he wanted really bad . Maybe SOS had something wrong in his personal life ; usually in crises he did manage quite well , but now . I was so amazed how bad he played . He remains the changer of how to play Starcraft II and the mos innovative and creative player of all times . No one can deny this . All the other players are pure mechanical with a small amount of strategies , that is it. So without SOS in Blizzcon things are gonna be like in athletics . Who have the best speed APM and all of those things etc.. It will be like this : the same openings from all races and it will be boring . I hope that things will not be so . I hope that I'll be wrong about it . And I really don't get it : Why such a hate against a very good player like SOS ? I red some comments below . So ... If a person is so good , smart , genius making something the only thing is to appreciate that person not to offend him or something else . He remains my truly favorite Starcraft player ever . He's the best protoss in Starcraft history . End of story ! I'm so sad that SOS loose be cause is the most creative and entertaining player of entire STARCRAFT II history . Of course he made a lot of mistakes and the first it was to disconsider Byun . Don't forget that SOS beat Byun early in 2016 in a final with 4 to 1 . He wiped the floor with Byun . Blizzcon will be a boring thing to watch without SOS . Thanks to TY will be not such boring to watch though . I hope that this was a lesson for SOS to be more realist about what can happen in STARCRAFT II with him . I hope that I will see him next ear with a better play if he wants to continue with his pro gamer career . And finally , such a great amount of zerg players in Blizzcon ! I hope that TY will won or a protos player but not a zerg . Always THE ZERGLINGS RUSH ! Phew !!! That really is annoying to see .

I think SoS got himself into a bad position where the vikings were at an extremely hard angle to engage... actually reminds me a lot of WoL.
