I want to write that my name is Josh and i want to write that Seinfeld is my favorite half hour sitcom. I want to write that reruns of Seinfeld came to the Comedy Central channel in October 2021.
It’s apparently a logistical nightmare, would cost a fortune, and is almost never done. Plus major cities really don’t like shutting down public transit bc it causes tons of headaches. TV shows like this one also prefer filming in the more controlled studio environment. It’s easier and cheaper than paying for all kinds of taxes and permits.
Probably some people would think that they are making fun of the notion of a same sex wedding and get up in arms about it. Back then same sex marriage was not as common, and illegal in many places, so the reaction of the lady was ”normal” for her to have. If that was done now people would think that Seinfeld were being homophobic
@@victorbhoy Julia said "I was going to a lesbian wedding, which was risque then, imagine what it is today with all this controversy" implying that somehow a lesbian wedding is more socially unacceptable today. It clearly isn't.
@@mecurian485 I did not interpret it like that, I got the feeling she meant that the chance of a lesbian wedding being perceived as something weird or funny would make it controversial
I always thought that the end of that episode shoulda been how the series ended.
Probably should have
The penultimate episode ended with that clip.
I thought it should have been how the episode started.
I yeah actually agree, much better than the actual one
Amazing effects 👏

I wonder why they couldn't rent a part of the train to film? 🎥 🎞

@@patrickthomas8890 thanks for the bright explanation
@@mustseeplaces3475 No problem. I heard about this in an interview from a TV show producer I can’t remember.
I would never ride the subway in NY.
Good luck with that.
It's prison rules. Don't look at anyone.

Why would the idea of a "lesbian wedding" be more risky today?
Not risky. Risqué.
At the time of the interviews here, the Supreme Court decision had yet to be reached.
