not to be that guy, but use your eyes and ears, especially for a song like this where its entirely possible. its better in the long run
@@noats3213 Yes in a sense, but I’ve rarely seen a cover of a song that someone learned using their eyes and ears that was accurately done. If I’m going to learn a piece of music I’d rather learn it as accurately as possible from the start. Getting all the phrasing, hammer ons, pull off and legato parts perfect is important to me and can make or break being able to play a song. Also... who got time to learn every song they want to learn by ear??? 😂
@@pursuethehunter what? when learning a song by tab, its your ear that tells you tyhe phrasing and techniques. all tab can do is tell you the notes and partially the phrasing. most if not all musicians strive to learn music by ear because music isnt something that you copy and paste

Discovered Moray a couple of days ago through Scotty (not Scotty scotty, I heard that today!). Really impressed with the melodic approach, and awesome playing filled with so many little bends, trills and expressions and space to hear them. Little bursts of shred, but all kept under beautiful control. I am really liking this music. Hints of Stach, Guthrie Govan and a touch of Tim Henson.
edit: as an aside, I love listening to polyphia, but it almost makes me want to give up guitar as 99% of what Tim Henson plays is way out of my league, but a lot of Moray's music seems within reach and makes me want to pick up my guitar and learn some of these licks, even if I can't play everything in the song. It's very inspirational.
