Mine arrived Thursday night and I noticed a couple of the same things as you - the warp on the punchboards was really bad but the tiles seem to be fine. And I love that they included the scriptural references on the scroll tile spaces as that is what they would have been teaching at that time. Very thematic. I'm looking forward to digging into this one.
This is a terrific game, but I do not think I will ever be able to fit it back into the tiny box the way that I bag pieces. Garphill has spoiled us lately with the larger collector boxes. Weird that they would include one with Shipwrights redux, but not this, which is WAY heavier and has a lot more components. Still, their games never disappoint me.
Can’t wait for my copy.
I also dislike that they don’t make basic storage for all their games.

I was barely able to get it back in the box but I think it is ridiculous that they use such small boxes. Seriously why?
