Learn how to use Native Instruments' Massive! This plugin is extremely versatile and good for making almost any kind of sound - leads, chords, FX, risers, you name it. I personally use Massive in every song I create, and I am proud to finally share some knowledge with you all. In this video, I teach you how to navigate Massive's interface so it can be a little less intimidating. By the end of this ~30 minute tutorial, you should have a much better grasp on how to use this VST so you can create your own unique sounds on your own. Enjoy!

Anyway, if u get serum plz plz plz do a tutorial. If u say it;s too expensive then fair enough but remember that slice lets u have serum for $10 a month and the payments will stop when u have paid the full price of serum with the monthly subscription

InspirAspir I tried it a couple years back, but the way the knobs are set up with the different color schemes threw me. Back then I didn’t have the patience for it, but now that Ni’s got a half-price special on it, I’m definitely gonna tear into it when I get it.

I want to thank you for uploading this intro to Massive. A couple years ago I got Massive as part of a bundle that I bought specifically for Ableton 11 Suite. Quickly overwhelmed, I put aside all of the plugins and began using Ableton in a way that no one should ever be using it: as Audacity with thousands of extra bells and whistles (pun unintended). I have been using it as a guitar recording DAW, and not much else. Last week I resolved to start learning as many of the features and plug-ins as seemed useful, and I found Massive's interactive tutorial. While that was practical, it still felt like they assumed you would be basically familiar with other synthesizers. I am not. So this was exactly what I've needed. Subbed!

Great tutorials , straightforward and to the point!
Background music would be better left out though, can be distracting at times.

Hi there! How do you actually record the sound you've designed from Massive into Ableton? I tried capturing MIDI from a chord progression i wrote; but when i close massive out and play the track, the effects aren't part of the track. i also tried recording with the record button but none of the chords appeared

on your midi track, select a part (hold left click and drag), release left click, press Ctrl ( or Cmd) + Shift + M, and you can double click on the top of it to open it

This is a VERY basic tutorial going over the interface of Massive. If you've ever used Massive, this won't teach you anything. I imagine this video could be someone opening Massive for the first time and doing a good job of pretending to know what he's doing. "This box is to adjust feedback. I know this because it's titled feedback. You can adjust the amplitude of the feedback by adjusting this knob labelled amplitude." Good job Capt. Obvious.
