Theo saying West Ham will get a lot of money for Paqueta aged like milk🤣
I laughed when he said it too 😂😂😂
I mean people didn’t really know when or if he’d get suspended because of the betting stuff cause he played the whole season so I think most people assumed he wasn’t gonna be suspended or at least I didn’t
Seems to be a huge issue on pitch side with the lads struggling to understand the difference between subjective, objective and adjective
These words are way too big, dumb it down for the burials folder; :D
Glad someone has pointed this out, it’s painful
Does lewis talking about Newcastle make anyone else's head hurt?
Yes haha but to be fair half the time he talks about them is because they all throw randoms jabs at newcastle when not even talking directly about them hahaha
It makes most Newcastle fans heads hurt I’m pretty sure
I’m a toon fan can confirm he spins me head
Terrified isak is gonna sign for arsenal, will be looking at him this season thinking they can win the league with him involved. Sadly he’s probably looking at arsenal thinking the same thing
@@Yaddel-mk3md it will make me absolutely sick!!! Only positive is he would prolly go for 100+ million in this market.....so we can bring nobodies since we have no Europe to sway them 🤣🤣
Lewis saying “Rodri literally called yous all bitches” and Tom laughing set me off 😂😂😂
cheers for the onscreen graphic fr
Lewis “an A would be second and really close” proceeds to say arsenal is closer to a C than a A 😂😂
He was talking about Liverpool
Cos they finished 2nd last year, Liverpool finished 5th
When you try to make a joke about lewis but you cant comprehend context
I haven’t watched it yet but I know that Lewis is gonna bring up that Arsenal lost the league and Newcastle had injuries and still managed to finish 7th
I return being spot on, Lewis is just a wind up, he doesn’t even mean what he says 99 percent of the time
Well even if he did say it. It's true.
Which is spot on just accept you’re bottlejobs
Arsenal didn’t have injuries, fans were banging on that you were gonna win it again… and then you didn’t
@@tomben6180but we still doing better than other teams, where was Liverpool who were screaming quadruple at the start of the season, where is Chelsea who spent billions on players who haven’t done nothing, where is Tottenham, where certain people were saying would finish above Arsenal at the end of December, so you can call us bottle jobs all you want, but the fact is we’re the only team actually challenging for the title every other team is no match.
Everton should be an A or B. The fact that they'd be 11th without the points deduction is incredible considering how average their squad is.
Nah
Thats kinda where they should be consicering economic aspects. They underperfoming so much people think 11 is good for Everton..
What a load of bollocks haha they’ve be mid table. Shite
Everton had 6 points deducted, they’d be 1 place higher
🤣🤣🤣🤣 autism flows through this channel
Theo L incoming. I’ll be back at the end of the video to see if i was correct
You were
I should included lewis aswell. This guy snorted lines of washing up liquid before recording. The bs that poos out of his mouth is worrying
@@emz2766 Yeah Lewis L is more probable nowadays than Theo ngl
You should pick the lottery numbers with how predictable you are
Yeap, Luton anywhere but D was wild tbh
Lewis is so biased it‘s borderline unbearable. How can you consistently argue how incredible Newcastle‘s players are and then you defend their league position. You can‘t have it both ways.
Either you acknowledge how shite their season was and you place them next to UTD in the D tier or you acknowledge that their players are massively overrated and simply aren‘t top level quality which would then justify their position on the league table.
So Lewis doing all this arguing while switching camera angles? 😂
A simple google search proves that Tom was spouting absolute bollocks about Villa being the 4th highest wage bill 🤣
“An A would be 2nd really close”
“Arsenal, C.”
Expectations mate, look at Liverpool and Arsenal's previous seasons and signings for the current season. Liverpool were expected to get top 4 and arsenal were expected to win the league
@@user_unavailable2every single person predicted city to win, Liverpool have been challenging for the title for the last 6 years bar last season. The expectations are the same
Garratt man its the 7th highest wage bill in the league leave the west brom bias 😂😂
Villa's wages are so high because of the free transfers we've signed, we got Kamara and Tielemans both on a free so obviously there wages are going to be high
Villas wages were 7th highest aswell after the "big 6"
Lewis singlehandedly makes this podcast unenjoyable to watch
He sounds bent
The comment about villa's wagebill is just so wrong lol
Half of the wage bill is Coutinho. Remember him?
I wouldn’t expect anything less from Tom especially since he’s a West Brom fan dude just hates on Villa whenever he gets a chance to
half of it is on fucking coutinho
What’s Tom on about Villa have the 4th highest wage bill in the league the absolute sausage.
They have the 8th highest. Behind City, Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Spurs, Chelsea and Newcastle.
Also the wage bill is inflated because their top 3 earners either joined on a free, which normally gets them higher wages due to lack of transfer fee (Kamara 150k p/w, Tielemans 150k p/w) or are on loan (Lenglet from Barcelona at 150k p/w).
Villas wage bill is 500k per week more than Newcastle's 5k per week more than spurs
You don’t mate you have a much higher wage bill then Newcastle im afraid
No one expected Liverpool to challenge this season. Klopp leaving is what made the end of the season feel like more of a let down than it actually was. This was actually a transitional year for them into ‘Liverpool 2.0’ and getting top 3 behind the two best teams in the league, winning a trophy, with all those injuries (Kelleher was goalie half the season, Van Dijk was the only constant cb, Salah was out after AFCON etc) and with all those VAR fuck ups (Diaz vs Spurs, Odegaard handball, Doku kick in the chest last minute, Mac Allister + Jones red card etc) is an A season.
And they said "erm well results matters". And then Luton was in C despite doing shite and getting relegated
Also everyone has been fucked by var and injuries. So best bet is to ignore them
That is cap you guys were screaming quadruple at the start of the season don’t switch up now, just because you guys did horribly 😂😂😂
@@IQ.trivia225 What? No one seriously expected Liverpool to challenge this season after how woeful last season was. Not to mention we replaced our whole midfield, so that was not expected to work instantly in the first season. Our goal was to simply get back into the top 4 and that would've be a good season for us. The fact is we overperformed and overachieved far sooner than we expected, and that finally caught up to us towards the end, and was further pronounced by Klopp leaving.
Come on guys you were a B you didn’t have a better season than Arsenal and you were definitely not on the same level as City or Villa
@@emilevangheem6165 Arsenal were able to start an identical lineup pretty much every single week, unlike Liverpool. That alone makes Liverpools season more impressive i.e. the fact that we kept up with those 2 the whole season and just fell short at the last hurdle. I’m not denying that Arsenal are the better team. In fact, that reinforces my point.
And also we beat Villa home and away.
The way I know such Tierlists with A to D is as follows:
A - exceeded Expectations
B - reached Expectation
C - nearly not achieved
D - not achieved
I think it deserves an A too if expectations are already sky high, and those expectations are reached or very close to being reached.
@@Silas-gz9zl exactly City 4-peating the league can’t be a B just because we kinda expect them to always win it. Does that mean if they didn’t do it they are a C or D that would be crazy
Yep pretty much. I think Arsenal in C is fair
@@emilevangheem6165the one who wins the title is definitely an A coz you can’t be higher than that according to this city could never get an A bcoz their expectations is always title and even it’s fulfilled
I’m a Millwall fan and toms right. Because we don’t win trophy’s the small meaningless victories to the big 6 are a cup final for us.
5 tiers needed
Lewis all season: chelsea are shit we’re finishing above them they are so so shit
*chelsea finish above newcastle*
Lewis: Oh you can’t compare newcastle to chelsea they should be finishing above us
Tom, everyone knows your a West Brom fan but holy moly. Please be a bit less biased towards Villa. They got 4th place with a crazy injury list. Mings, Buendia, Ramsey, Kamara all out over 50% of the season and all first 11 from last season. So many injuries to our back 4 and suspensions on both midfielders in Mcginn and Dougy and we still got Champions League. We have the 5th highest wage bill because we brought in free signings like Tielemans and Kamara instead of using 500 mil. Respect Villa bit i beg mate. It's so tiring listening to you shit on them all the time cuz u easily have the best football opinion on here
Some have them actually 7th on wage list behind Chelsea, City, United, Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal,
“Crazy” injury list being Buendía and Mings out for half the season? Villa are lucky they were out, might’ve been out of Europe otherwise
Jacob ramsesy basically out for the season, moreno out for half the season kamara out for half the season, Mings and buendia out for season. All those players started every game last season
It seemed pretty obvious he was taking the piss, at the end he goes "Yeah it's an A" as if he knew it was an A all along, just on a bit of a wind-up
tom the only one with common sense, can have a joke and can admit when something is wrong/right no matter who says it, i’d hate to speak football with theo and lewis 😭
What is Lewis on about .
Chelsea - finish above Newcastle so literally on the table are better than Newcastle
Newcastle - finish below Chelsea so have had a worse season going off the table but no Newcastle are not shit yet Chelsea are .
Lewis - Chelsea 10 years ago had frank lampard and didier drogba so they have to be good now but we didn’t have anyone so we’re not as good as them . I mean is this guy alright. That’s like saying well we don’t expect man city to be good because 20 years ago they didn’t have a good team
Newcastle have had worse injuries with less squad death with Europe to deal with. Spent about 30% what Chelsea have spent. The fact we've only scored 2 less goals than Liverpool. Our defense was joint best when Pope got injured while our best CB got injured as well having our big money signing miss most of the season. Shall I keep going9?
@@TheYorkshireGeordieyou haven’t had worse injuries tho, you get injuries to shit players who never play and count them 🤣
@@TheYorkshireGeordie we’ve literally had a minimum of 5 players out injured for every single gameweek this season, that going as high as 13 injuries at once
@@dylan2348 nice mate were still at the top of the list with less squad depth gonna have to do better than that pal.
@@benkoj6581 shit players? Pope, Trippier, Livramento, Botman, Burn, Willock, Joelinton, Anderson, Barnes, Isak, Almiron, Wilson. They have all been injured for long periods this season. All would start of have a chance of starting every game. Then add in Tonali ban, Lascelles, Targett, Murphy missing for large periods. There were games we only had 11 fit first team players where we couldn’t really make subs. 2 broken backs, 2 dislocated shoulders, 2 ACLs, 1 year gambling ban…. They aren’t lowkey injuries/suspensions either
Lewis made no sense on Chelsea comment lmao
It does make sense. Chelsea had a fluke awful season last year. That squad should not have finished that low. 6th is where they should be in and around especiall with how much they spent
@@EA-hz9mg yeah but him comparing them to Newcastle just doesn’t make sense. Chelsea are in C tier granted, but there is no point comparing thee two teams
He wasn’t the one who compared though, that was Tom. Chelsea are shit he’s right and the expectations should, rightly, be way more than Newcastle. Tom can’t shut the fuck up for a second to let anyone else speak though
@@jayro7535 he didn’t initially Tom said “if Chelsea r shit what r u” he should have said Newcastle r shit as well but
@@jayro7535that’s Lewis’ point lol. He’s not trying to compare them, he’s saying Chelsea shouldn’t be in the same conversation as Newcastle
"I think we are as good as I think" - deep philosophy there.
i love how lewis flips from newcastle being the biggest team in the country to them being little newcastle whenever it suits the argument😭
How are Lewis and Theo allowed a platform🤣
Liverpool went from not getting top 4 and getting a whole new midfield to competing for the title the NEXT season after. I think we’re B because if the end but how is an A and outrageous thing to say
B vaguely makes sense considering they were supposed to be the top contender with city. Just because they shat themselves last year doesn't mean they're not still THE Liverpool who should be sticking it through and met expectations.
But based on last season it's an A
Arsenal expectation was to challenge for the league not win, piss teeth is right they both should be the same rank
And yeah they did challenge for the title that’s why they are B coz they haven’t exceeded the expectations of they’d have won the title they ‘d have been an A
@@101notfound17 thats not the argument though, its that city expectation was to win and arsenal was to challenge meaning they both meet expectations so both would be same grade. i thought that was pretty simple to understand
@@mitchell5942 the thing is you can’t go higher than winning a title if you win the title it’s a definite A while a title challenger you could exceed your expectations by winning it ,city can never have an A then coz they are always expected to win and if they did it should be an A tho if they don’t it’s a C simple as that
@@101notfound17 That is the other side of the argument. I disagree city season should cap at B. If they won the league by a mile it's maybe an A. My opinion is based partially on performance and not results, also other teams winning the league should be considered a higher rating than if city do it for obvious reasons.
lewis talking about newcastle is like hearing a blind man complain about walking into a lamp post because he cant see it
Arsenal’s should probably be an A. Although they didn’t win the league they broke their record for most points in a season. As well as proving people wrong because a lot of people said they’d have a Leicester season where they then fall off, I saw people predicting united, Liverpool and Chelsea to finish above them.
Liverpool won a cup and finished 3rd, arsenal won nothing finished 2nd, think you can’t give arsenal a better rank than Liverpool because at the end of the day, trophies are most important, both a B is fine
0 trophies though
Man United getting a D and Newcastle getting a C is mental, both in top 4 last season and both been hit with a lot of injuries, except United could win a trophy
Different expectations for both of the clubs
If Man Utd now have the same expectations as Newcastle that’s a worry
@@Wedtstsys I think there’s a difference between expectations and realistic targets, United should always be competing for the league but we havnt been for the last 11 years
Literally just talk with Isak yesterday and he said that he is not going back next season
Lewis saying 'thats how tier lists work it's only 4' when on the exact site he's using you can add extra tiers... How has he gotten this job
27:30 is what I’m here for 😂😂
The wind up from Lewis is pure perfection
Highest squad depth of all time!? My man has a massive hatred of Chelsea and talks some waffle
Newcastle had “off” season you’ve finished top 4 once calm down you finished in your normal place
He said off season as in last season was our off season, admitting we don't normally get top 4
This should be very interesting
Liverpool needs to be an A. realistically with all the out going players and new faces everyone was saying we were going to finish below the top 4 and were going to struggle but we challenged the title with a very makeshift team through most of the season.
Liverpool exceeded expectations. they are an A. from a Villa fan
Chelsea should of done better than 6th even though they finished 12th last season, had the youngest squad in the league and had the most amount of injuries in the league, I think that’s harsh
i think a great idea for pitchside is to create a reel of all lewis predictiosn throughout the season and react to them as a group
Can't believe I'm saying this, but you've made The Club look like good football pundits with the lack of quality in this tier list and the discussion around it.
When considering the relegated teams. Everyone thought sheff utd would go down and they ended up being rock bottom and one of the worst teams weve ever seen. Everyone thought Burnley would stay up due to the hype around kompany and the young players, they got relegated. Luton were predicted to be rock bottom nobody ever game them a chance. They were relegated on the final day (technically). Nobody expected them to be the best out of the promoted teams. They also spent the least amount of money and had the worst squad going up. So to finish above sheff utd and burnley is an achievement despite still being relegated.
Liverpool just is an A. They had a better season than Arsenal. Both finished in a ucl spot after being in the title race, Liverpool just went further in the fa cup (knocking arsenal out) and winning the league cup
Villa have the 6th highest wage bill almost tied with Spurs who are 7th. They also have almost 2x less of a wage bill than United so him cracking that Villa are expected to be 4th is nuts. Typical baggies fan chatting complete guff.
How can Brentford be a D ? A club that size staying in the league is a B. Premier league football is a brilliant achievement for Brentford
I think they should change the word ‘expectation’ to ‘target’ and their points would make sense.
Where you expect someone to be is a realistic view on what they could/should have achieved.
Their target is what they were striving for.
How is Arsenal a B? They should be A+ as they exceeded expectations from last year. Just two years ago Arsenal were struggling in the mid table. Man City should be a B as their season was below their normal standard. Poor assessment that was based on emotions. The Newcastle fan is not making sense at all
Villa has the 6th highest wage bill, not 4th
theo saying “be weird seeing united in top 3” like arsenal didn’t get back to back 8th place finishes before two title charges
Putting luton D just based on them relegated is stupid. You should not have made this list then and put place 20-16 D, 15-11 C, etc. 18th in the premier league for Luton is a C. Them even being there is worth a C imo. On top of that they played exiting football and put up a real fight against a lot of big teams.
And comparing them to burnley and saying they were basically as bad isn’t why they should also be D. Comparing The size of the club luton to burnley.
How the tiers weren't "Shite, Below Expectations, As Expected, Beyond Expectation" - just makes it so much easier
The fact that Liverpool replaced their midfield and they were tiltle challger till april is amazing, they bottled it, but B is harsh
Yall were literally screaming quadruple at the start of the season, 😂😂😂, I love how Liverpool fans want to act all humble and switch up when they did horrible this campaign.
@@IQ.trivia225 nobody believed we would win anything this year including ourselves. a quadruple was only talked about when klopp announced he was leaving and even then it was a reach due to playing academy players every week until we beat chelsea in the league cup. you need to stop your obsession with us pal
@@callumokeeffe6241 dawg you literally said you yourself you guys did believe you were going to win the quadruple, so my point still stands 😂, you guys are tryna act all humble now just because you didn’t do much this season
@@IQ.trivia225why are you commenting saying lfc fans said Quad at the start of the season, literally no one said it you helmet.
A: Villa, City, Liverpool
B: Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham, Bournemouth, Chelsea
C: Palace, Everton, Fulham, Newcastle, Wolves, Brighton,
D: Forest, Brentford, United, Luton, Burnley, Sheffield
So why liverpool and villa an A but arsenal a B? When arsenal was the one 2 points off city
@@itshurtt395 arsenal were expected to be in a title race based on their finish last season and their recruitment. They were also expected to compete for trophies. They got knocked out by Liverpool in the fa cup, got knocked out early in the league cup and in the quarter in Europe. So all they achieved was ucl football.
Villa achieved ucl football but have much lower standards than arsenal and weren’t expected to be in the top 4.
Liverpool finished 5th last season and went up to 3rd, also being in the title race until the last few weeks with an awful lot more injuries than arsenal and actually won a trophy. And finished further in the other domestic cup.
@user-fd9db4ee9n arsenal won the community shield, you can say what you want about it but the calibre of the final match in the efl Cup was less then thr community shield. Liverpool shouldn't be A they didn't do anything in Europe they were expected to win Europa and came very short where as arsenal wasn't even expected to get out of R16 and fought hard and almost reached semi finals in their first ucl campaign, in addition, the football played by arsenal was way way better becoming the best defense in the league aswell as having a upward trajectory which will attract players where as Liverpool is on a downwards trend. In conclusion, a carabo cup shouldn't place Liverpool a whole tier higher😂
@@itshurtt395 “almost reached the semi finals in their first ucl campaign” arsenal have been in the ucl before and didn’t win either of the games in their quarter final. Liverpool at least won one. But keep chatting whatever shit you arsenal fans normally chat. There is no difference between second and third, both just get ucl football. But Liverpool got knocked out of Europe at the same time, went further in the fa cup by beating arsenal and won the carabao cup which arsenal weren’t even close to winning. We got the same amount of major trophies this season as arteta has in 5 seasons. And we did so with one of the biggest injury crises in the league while arsenal had one of the smallest
@user-fd9db4ee9n new gen football fans have a lack of critical thinking. I hope your happiness for that carabo cup is gon a prepare you for your downward trend. When my arsenal wins trophies and competes for years to come because we have an actual young built squad
Villa have not spent loads of money! Our whole midfield cost literally 17 million pounds. Our most expensive player is Diaby which we payed 40 million.
Utter helmets mate. The "big" teams can go an spunk 30/40 million on squad players and nobody speaks a word.
A team who is trying to bridge the gap, spends a decent fee on getting a player to improve their first 11 and all hell breaks loose.
I've a lot of respect for Villa and realise you are a massive club unlike most germs these days. More league titles than Newcastle and Spurs combined! Great to see you back in the upper echelons of the league where you should be.
All the best for next season pal.
How can Theo say to Lewis how does your brain work when ive never seen Theo with a good list
I love hearing their opinions... But these "debate" shows have just become the 3 of them trying to arguing with their "main character" producer...
These guys seem like they never watch any football.
Arsenal and liverpool had the best moments this season even though they never win and city underperformed.
In one video Lewis undoes all his recent good work. Grade A helmet levels of waffle.
Tom garratt straight lying about villas wage bill ffs
The more pitchside I watch, the more I realize Theo has zero ball knowledge
24:05 its the 7th highest by the way.
Chelsea have had over 10 players injured for majority of the season and most of those players are the ones with the big price tags so I don't get how the money spent over the past 2 years is relevant when we have hardly seen them kick a ball. Yes a lot of money has been spent but no one talks about how many players have been offloaded. Chelsea do not have insane squad depth so I think finishing 6 is a huge achievement and deserves a B.
Villa do not have the 4th highest wage bill 😂
Wheres Tom getting these wage bill stats from? I checked 3 different websites two had us in 6th one has us in 7th
Villa are 7th for wages and 11th for transfer spend, Tom you're a Muppet making up numbers
we have like the 7th/8th highest wage bill Tom, not 4th, and half of that is on 3 squad players
West Ham B is wild imo
Should be a D they've been worse than man utd in my opion
Tom Garret knowing information without knowing context - Highest Wage Bill because Gerrard made high wage signings, Coutinho and Diego Carlos. Just because you're a Brom fan doesnt mean you need to be bias.
Not 1 mention of United’s injury crisis. I know we’ve been terrible but that is a huge reason why. Love the agenda of these boys
Lewis is honestly one of the most frustrating people at times. Love the content but you guys don’t know logic at all man
as a newcastle fan not being baist but lewis is correct what he is saying all the players have bought into the project they didn’t sign to play europe straight away
The only reason Everton's backline is so good now, is because of Shaun Dyche. He will always bring a strong defence to any club. Its how Burnley was hard to play at for like 3 seasons in the prem.
Considering Sheffield united NEEDED promotion in order to save themselves financially, they were always prepared to go down. They didn't heavily invest in the playing side.
honestly you guys should stop doing this, the knowledge is really dead
if we didnt crash out against atalanta it would be an A season for liverpool but we did do the impossible winning Carabao with our C team
I actually agree with Lewis about bruno and isak
i get the point about city being a B if it’s based on all comps, they were expected to win the league and UCL again and they didn’t win the UCL so it’s a B overall, if it’s based solely on league performance obviously it’s an A
Newcastle are a C. Also bruno & isak joined when we were scrapping relegation and got 12th. They both joined with the expectation it will be a few years before we can get europe.
Everton are an A without a doubt, without the points deduction would be way up there and what a way to deal with it 🇮🇪
Good mcarthy reference by Tom there “it can”
Lewis is such a god damn Newcastle United homer
Lewis talking about 1 billion and “injuries don’t matter cause they spent 1B” but failing to understand MOST that money hasn’t touch the pitch at Stamford Bridge or have rarely touched it. Expectations was top 6 this season, get European Football again and we did that, to claim we underachieve due to our history is absurd when you fail to realise that was under a different ownership where the club was run differently, we went from experienced players mostly and managers who were known winners, to one of the youngest squads in the league, all new to the league and each other and managers who haven’t won anything or aren’t known as winners. It’s a completely new environment us fans hold our standards yes but the REALISTIC expectation should of been top 6 which we did.
Sorry can someone tell me why Newcastle would sell isak or Bruno g to arsenal?
What in Theo saying. Who we going to finish above we got 6th and 7th 2 years before this
They did Theo soo dirty with that thumbnail bro needs to let the hair go
Surly Everton are B we had 8 points took off us and still stayed up by 14
Lewis raping my ears as usual
The fact that you guys put wolves in C tier is criminal
How can u give Everton and Brighton the same ???
Get Lewis off this show
The bias from Lewis is insane. Says D instantly for Man Utd but tries to argue Newcastle are a C
Reevs ball knowledge is shocking
Luton are easily a D, if us and forest never got point deductions, luton wouldn't even be in the talk to be staying up
You could tell the video was chalked when they have a total of 4 tiers
"Fulham fans expected to be around there". The fick you on about. Without Mitro we were more than happy just not getting relegated. This season was a B at least. Loved it ❤️
