People who smoke in general around their children, whether it's cigarettes or marijuana, are selfish. My parents were heavy smokers all their lives, and once I was old enough, I'd have to do my laundry two or three times a week just to make sure I didn't go to school in clothes that smelled like an ashtray. I showered every morning so my hair didn't smell like it. I loved my parents very much, but I will always hate that about them.
I was in a similar situation. My mom had schizophrenia and smoked like 50 cigarettes a day. When we got old enough we "made" her go outside when we were in the same room, but the apartment was saturated with smoke/nicotine because she smoked inside whenever we weren't there or were asleep. I always smelled like it, couldn't get rid of it. Mom died of lung cancer over 10 years ago.
I smoke, ive never ever smoked in the house, it's disrespectful. I have a child now and can't imagine ever smoking with her nearby, I've noticed that the older people, older generations smoke in their houses, I don't have any adult friends who smoke in their houses. Very strange.
@@L.Spencer COPD and lung cancer took my mom 2 1/2 years ago. It would have killed my father too, but pancreatitis got him before the crap in his lungs could. I had to take care of them in the final years of their lives, and it was painful to see what they'd done to themselves.
There’s no Part 5 ? The plaintiff won £5000 in 2018 I believe, from that ‘vlogger’ with blue hair and tie ! She had a lucky escape from him tbh ! JJ found in her favour.
Have respect for yourself and your family. Do not smoke around them. If you want to smell like it, that’s on you. Don’t force that smell on children who have no choice.
Smoking anything whether marijuana or cigarettes inside a house you share with people who have no choice about whether to live there is disrespectful. My cousin was bullied at school for smelling like an ashtray because my auntie was a chain smoker inside their house. I have an uncle who continues smoking despite have COPD. Every time I visit him and his wife I have to wash my clothes right away because they reek. it’s in the walls, furniture, carpet, everything. Being inside the car of someone who smokes in there is awful too.
"Do you have proof the school never contacted your child's grandmother?" "Yes." "What is the PROOF?" "The school never contacted my child's grandmother."
I was a first grade teacher in the worst part of Las Vegas. Not only would it really anger me of the children smelling like marijuana coming into my classroom, but it would make me furious when a parent would come to pick up the kid and would be reeking of it so bad I can smell them from 50 feet away and they were going to drive their kid home like that. I can’t tell you how on so many levels was it not only wrong but I took it as a form of child endangerment. But there was very little I could do about it. You have all these potheads everywhere, crying that they want to legalize marijuana, but didn’t think about these kinds of incidences.
This defendant is high now. Look at her, I can just hear the gears in her mind grinding away as she is asked if she has proof that the school never called the grandmother. "There has to be a burrito around here somewhere! ...... What was the question?" 😂😂
No lie… I remember kids who came to school smelling like weed. It was disgusting 🤢 sitting next to them. As a child the smell is not familiar to other kids.
As an adult I hate the smell. To me it's worse than poop smells or someone who reeks of alcohol. Idk how peiples hygiene is either with that in their mouth constantly but I've kissed a guy before and I had to talk to him about it. It was a rancid smell😮
How embarassing that you have your own mother bring you on JJ to talk about your daughter reeking of weed at school. That's like a scared straight that you need to CUT BACK.
Y'all know she's lying when she suits up and calls her defendant rather than grandmother or her name... she running through the court rules in her head.. lel
The grandmother would have to have custody or custodial rights or educational rights to be called about such a thing. Otherwise, the calls would be directed towards the mother.
I’ll be surprised to learn that the grandma can prove that the school contacted her, and I’m additionally surprised that Judge Judy, as a family court judge, isn’t questioning why the school would contact HER. Unless there were claims that the mother specifically was the reason the child’s clothes smelled like weed, why would the school not contact the child’s parent regarding an instance of bullying? And if the school believed, for any reason, that it WAS the mother’s fault, why would the grandmother be contacted, who is NOT a custodial parent of the child, and not DHS or CPS or some similar service? I’ve worked at two different schools, and we were only allowed to contact the child’s parent regarding matters pertaining to the child, and if we felt the parent was the cause of an issue, the only other party we were allowed to contact was DHS, even if the child had a different custodial parent, we still had to report it to DHS and allow them to follow appropriate protocol because we weren’t trained to make those sorts of judgments. Now, we had a list for each child of additional adults who were allowed to do things like pick the child up from school or attend field trips, but important matters of health regarding the child were communicated to the parent or DHS only, not a really involved grandparent. I’m inclined to believe the mother when she says the grandma was never contacted because it belies credulity, and if the grandma WAS contacted, the plaintiff needs to pull her daughter from that school. They cannot surreptitiously give a non-custodial adult custodial rights over her child.
I don’t believe for even a minute that the child was bullied for smelling of pot smoke. My husband is a pot smoker. And I have never smelled pot smoke on my clothes or hair. And I know that because I travel for work. And when I’m not of the house I can put on a shirt and not smell anything but fabric softener. I work in a smoke free building and I never smell pot smoke on me. And trust me I have co workers who would tell me if they smelled it. The child getting bullied for smelling of pot smoke is a ridiculous lie.
People are unbelievably stupid. Anyone smokes anything around any child of any age is a disgusting irresponsible individual. I went to the house of a friend, of my girlfriend, first time meeting them. Had a couple beers, they lit up and smoke marijuana while their child no more than 6 played in another room. That was bad enough, I made a comment about yond lungs, that was laughed off, then they announce its bed time. The dad calls the kid over and starts blowing pot smoke in his face. I could feel the back of my neck grow hot, I asked WTF? "Oh it helps us sleep, a few hits and he sleeps right through the night!" I said we are leaving, first thing in the morning I called Child Protection.
If you smoke so much weed to the point your child is affected by it, maybe consider therapy instead I wish I had so little to do each day that I could be an adult pot head
Part 2 plaintiff over defendant house with nightgown on this woman is wrong she’s trying to get custody for some money. I hope if she do go family court the judge will block her from getting custody she evil all in that woman business and defendant need to take that phone from her 11 yrs old.
Second-hand marijuana smoke has an effect on those around them too. I had friends in college who used it, I never did. But whenever they smoked it around me, I would get hungry and the giggles something terrible. I don't think that it's okay to smoke _anywhere_ a non-smoker could be effected, especially kids. Heck, inhaling ANY burning smoke into your lungs is bad, even incense or candle smoke. But hey, smoke all you want in your private place at home. Just don't take away people's right to _not_ be around smoke. It was also funny to me when I'd hear inconsiderate smokers complain about neighbors who played their music too loud. "How dare they force their music on me!" Wow. Just wow. Totally oblivious.🙄 Let's have a little chat, shall we?

Thanks for sharing! Some people may not think it has impact other than second hand smoke but it can definitely be a nuisance in other ways.

I agree it's disrespectful, however in the case of a child who has no choice in the matter, I would say it's abusive.
Stupid or not. It's their choice to do!
Don't go over there

oh, they uploaded these out of order
While it heartbreaking grandparents do not have rights unless there is a case the parent loses theirs and instead of CPS they place them there
Grandparents need to realise they have no rights to grandchildren.
That has nothing to do with the matter at hand. This child is being abused
