The Second of Chronicles 7 Now as soon as Solʹo·mon had finished praying,+ fire came down from the heavens+ and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and Jehovah’s glory filled the house.+ 2
The fact that both Jewish and Roman sources speak of Jesus within a few decades of His life and ministry is a powerful reason to believe that Jesus lived. Jesus' detractors never doubted Jesus' existence. The easiest way to have defeated Christianity in the early centuries would have been to prove that Jesus never lived. Yet emperors who did their best to eradicate the faith never tried that tactic. Why? Because they knew that Jesus was a real Person.
@@oneoftheway399please cite the documents where a known Roman or Jewish historical figure claims to have met Jesus. I can provide names of people that speak of Santa. Does that make him real?
@@Nick-Nasti Ancient sources that speak of Jesus include Josephus, Tacitus, Suetonius, Thallus and Philo. And meeting someone in person isn't required to prove they existed. For instance, if someone 1,000 years from now came across the average public library of today, there would be sufficient evidence to believe that Trump, Biden, Obama, the Bush Family, Taylor Swift, etc. existed, just by how much is written about them in a nonfiction context. But also, consider that no one seriously questions that the major apostles lived. And they were eyewitnesses of His majesty (II Peter 1:16). And about Santa Claus...obviously, there's the legend. But did you know St. Nicholas was a real person who lived in 4th century Turkey? He was a Christian bishop who's major life work was the Nicene Creed, which emphasizes both the deity and humanity of our Lord!
@@oneoftheway399 There are stories about Santa and the Easter Bunny, yet nobody is saying the lived. The people writing about Jesus do not claim he existed, only that others are talking about a "Jesus". Also, there were dozens of preachers named Jesus amd we cannot even confirm that all of the stories are abnout the same person. The kernel of truth for St Nicholas is a perfect example of how stories about a a real person are exaggerated over time and get merged withother legends. You exposed your own fallacy. The apostles did not write the Gospels. They are anonymous. Everything about Christianity is inane. The stories conflict, make no logical sense and are unverifiable.
If he never existed I would have written more stremlined gospels. I guy who actually was from Bethlehem, wouldn’t have to travel there inside his mother ‘s whom. His parents were from Nazareth and a Messiah had to be born in Bethlehem, so they had to make up this census story. I also would have made him capable of performing miracles in his hometown. The son of God should be free of performance anxiety. Things like that look like tricks in the narrative to make the real guy more like the man he should have been according to the prophecies.
How do i know there was a Christ? because Jesus is my ancestor. see he got married to Mary and after she died, her and Mary the Gypsy and Thomas went to rome and then to rance and the baby was fruitful.
yes I was, and why do you think so many churches across entire globe were founded, just based on a fairy tale? gimme a break! you have a brain, use it!
"Defend your Stupid project" would be a better name for this.
Feel bad for David; all the logical fallacies from Kelly are really infuriating.
"evidently" not.
.
While MOST historians concede Jesus was likely a real person, few would claim it as fact.
Any other representation of this is just a lie.

Kelly Clemenson was the top student at Daniel Haqiqitjou's debate school.
This is hard to listen to.
The Christian guy is smug and expect to be able to pass off utter bullshit without challenge
