I had never seen it until a few days ago. It was truly amazing. This goes to everyone. To fully experience this musical, you HAVE to see it on the stage.
My family took me to "Come from Away" for my birthday and it was fantastic. I I started to cry 3 minutes after the play started and then a minute later started to laugh. The whole play had me going from laughing to crying and back again. it was both touching and humorous and I enjoyed it immensely, it was the best birthday.
Sharon is too amazing, the water bottles are hilarious, and poor Astrid! I saw the show when it was in Seattle and I can't wait for my favorite show to come back this year!
If I recall correctly, there are about THIRTY SEVEN arrangements on that stage of the dozen or so chairs and handful of tables. It looks like confetti from above. I'm amazed they can EVER keep track of which one is the right one!
I love the blue light idea! That would be so useful for quick runs, I've had to do that before in shows, where I've had a quick change from first costume into Elle's cheerleaders (legally blonde) and had to run down stairs, around backstage, up to an entrance into the audience to come on cheering for What you want p2! And we were all running not just 1! Quick times are so fun if not stressful too. In that same show I danced the Irish section of Legally blonde remix, and in the space of the last chorus, had to go off and become the judge again before the song ended with my costume all sweaty!!
In college we did a show called "Calais" I had to leave the stage in one scene as an old man (make up and all) down through the vomitorium, run back under the stage to the dressing room, change clothes and full make-up to portray a soldier in the 3rd scene (one roughly 15 minute scene happening while I'm doing this). Then run back through to the wings and make my entrance. I positioned all my clothing pieces and armor along the route and put it on as I ran to make my entrance. One night, another actor moved my broadsword and belt thinking he was helping me out. That night I went on stage holding up my pants while trying to tied up and lead off the captives!! Boy, did he get an ear full!!
Thank you, Sharon Wheatley!! LOVE the stage direction and all the details of making this wonderful play become REAL -- because it is the very essence of REAL. Blessings to you and to all.
Who else LOVES Come From Away????

She’s so pretty and full of positive energy, I love it!
I just watched this musical today. It's a great show.
I'm currently reading Sharon's memoir. She's such a delightful & wonderful human
Sharon is a ray of sunshine
mae mae agreed
My best friend saw some fab shows on Broadway but said this was something entirely special. He absolutely raved about it
I’m still in awe of the chair ‘choreography.’
Sharon is so pure oh gosh 😭
Oh, I love how organized you are with the water bottles. Good idea! Just saw the show in Portland. It's a solid joy.
Can't wait for this to come to Chicago!
Why does nobody (except Canadians) pronounce Newfoundland correctly?
Reyna604706 i just call it The Rock
Honestly sometimes I get confused when ppl r talking about it
I pronounce it New”fin”land. Is that correct?
@@lanesmith2853 It's not, it's more of a *fen* sound then *fin*. Common mistake in pronunciation.
Go anywhere really, there are always places people say "wrong" according to locals.
Louisville definitely does not sound like "Lou-iss" or "Lou-ee".
Can't wait to see this when it comes to Canada!!
Say it with me:
New-fin-land. Newfoundland.
new-fun-land
Nyu-found-lind
I saw Come From Away while I was in London, England. They did such great american accents, you could not tell the difference!
Loved this show in NYC

Love the Tim Horton's visor. :)
those numbers on the floor are too small to be seen by the naked eye
