I have used Clarins products since my early 30s and I am now late 50s. This brand is hands down the best of the best. I have been told I look very youthful for my age. I plan to continue aging gracefully but more importantly naturally. I have no interest in botox or fillers, much less cosmetic surgery. Clarins in my opinion is a top notch skin care product line.

I’ve been using this product for the past year and I’m 50 years old with oily skin. I’ve seen a been HUGE improvement in the minimizing of my skin pores and my wrinkles have also minimized by 30%. It is expensive; here in L.A. it’s $175; but it’s well worth it.
I tried this serum when it came in a sample with my sephora order. The sample lasted me 3 days i used it at night and i can totally feel a difference in the morning! Now im going to order it

I used Clarins exclusively for about 2 years. I am 44 with dry skin. I recently switched my skincare over to medical grade, but do miss Clarins. I loved how my skin felt when using it. I would also suggest using their extra firming am moisturizer and the extra firming pm moisturizer. The milk cleanser is also amazing. I used Double serum as well and really like it. After watching this- I miss using Clarins- such great products and no one talks about this brand.

I haven't tried anything from Clarins in awhile. This sounds like a wonderful serum. I have always heard good things about Turmeric and how good it is for the skin and a lot of other things. The serum sounds wonderful! I just love a nice, lightweight, hydrating serum. 😊 You know, it's funny because up until just a couple of years ago I had always used products with fragrance in them and have never had any issues whatsoever. I actually still use hand and body lotions with fragrance and never have issue. 🤔 Girl, you look gorgeous! You skin and makeup look so nice! Happy Holidays! ⛄🎁🎄

Hi I'm turning 30 in 3 month. I've used it for 3 years.
Started using it when I was 27 I've always had very dry flacky skin, everyday my nose and lips would peel. People would always suggest 🙄 to exfoliate but they didn't know I was trying everything and anything for my dry skin.. I had little acne around my cheeks. I saw results immediately and continued to use it daily sometimes twice a day. Acne reduced currently I have 0 blemishes. Acne scars smoothed out a bit. I still have discoloration around my mouth, freckles and sun spots (pregnancy mask) 5 months PP. I didn't have much wrinkles and don't have any now. Just smile lines but I had those since I was 10 yrs old.
Overall I love the product, stopped using it for 6 months and my dryness came back in a few months. I've started to use it again 3 times a week (can't afford it 😢 😫) and dryness is improving, no more flakes.
I have used Clarins for 40 years and my dermatologist always says what great skin I have. It’s worth spending the extra money to purchase their products. It also helps to try to purchase when they have their gift with purchase offers. I can not recommend this bar and highly enough. The serum is brilliant and I have dry sensitive skin.......

Clarins was my skin care line for many, many years. I didn’t use any other skin care. Loved the double serum, eye concentrate, cleanser, moisturizer, etc My sister & I had a rep at Saks Fifth Avenue who always sent a lot of samples to us with our orders. Sadly I cut that expense when times got tough financially. Still can’t afford it, but, I’m glad I used it for so long when I did. I have dry, aging skin & I’m 59 yrs old. I used Clarins from age 36yrs old to about 42yrs old. Great review Dawn❣️
Hi Carol! I used Clarins skincare around 15 years ago for about a year or two, but being the skincare junkie that I am I moved on and forgot about it. I always wanted to try the Double Serum. It is pricey though. I live near the North Aurora Outlet Mall and there is a Clarins Outlet there where I’ve purchased some makeup at a great price. After the holidays, I’ll go back and see if there is much of a savings on the skin care. It would be awesome it there is!!! I hope you are having a wonderful week building up to Christmas!!

I hope you love the Double Serum as much as I do!! I haven’t tried their essences or toners, but when the outlet mall opens back up I’ll give them a try! I also love their hair oil with spf. It’s a dry oil so it won’t leave your hair greasy, but I like it for when I’m out in the sun it protects my haircolor from fading, I also love the radiance boost glow serum. You add a drop or too to your moisturizer and it leaves a subtle tan/glow to your face (it’s a self tanner, but perfect for facial skin). I’m crazy about their lipsticks too!!

I've used it for years & helped a friend out who worked at the Clarins counter she suggested it (I'm just hooked on it now!). Hi Dawn, I started using this a few days ago and I already see a radiance and smoother face. I have been using it twice a day and at night under my retinol product. Maybe once in the morning would be better but the rep at clarins said its best to use at night. Just wonder what you think.?..thx Dawn.

I use mine either morning, under Makeup or at night, and haven’t had any problems either way. When I use mine I use it without any other skincare. I also see a radiance and love my complexion while using this serum! I say, do what works for you. If you aren’t having any issues I’d use it however you want to!

I would love to try this serum too, I always thought all you need is retinol but think I need more than that..I now use no7 advanced 1.5 retinol serum which is nice but would like more results. Thinking of using a cheaper retinol product like roc then this over it.

Hi Linda! I’m currently using the No.7 Retinol too, at night. I think it just takes time and consistency to see results. I love serums during the day because they have concentrated ingredients and back a punch. Another great serum that isn’t super expensive is Paula’s Choice Resist Antioxidant and Vit C Serum. Hi Stephanie!! I LOVE Genefique!! They both make a noticeable difference in my skin ie: better skin tone, brighter, and hydrated. Clarins is a bit oilier, whereas the Genefique soaks in like water, so I prefer Genefique for daytime use beneath makeup. Clarins will completely soak in but you have to wait 10 min. That’s really the difference. If one is on sale or cheaper get that one!

Would I use this in place of my vitamin c and peptide serums
Hi Beth! Yes, this serum will boost radiance, has antioxidants and anti inflammatory ingredients. It improves texture (these are things that Vit C serum does too) I am not using Vit C while using this since it addresses the same concerns. I am using peptide moisturizer over this, since it doesn’t specifically have peptides listed in the ingredients, however it does have firming ingredients. I hope this helps!!

Do you know if there are any plant extracts in it that are not good for sensitive skin
I do have sensitive skin and none of the ingredients cause me any sensitivity, but you can see all the plant extracts in the serum on the Clarins website if you have any known sensitivities. So far, my skin has had very positive results. I would pick up a sample and patch test it prior to putting it in your sensitive skin just to make sure!!

I’m about to give up on Retin a and just use retinol, or Bukuchiol. I have not tried Biogelique recharge. I’ve never heard of it. What do you think of it?

I really like the Clarins spf hair dry oil. I love their facial radiance tint that you mix with moisture for a slight self tan on my face. I love Clarins lipsticks too!!!
