Dunno but the silent drill in the 80s-90s was more attractive, impressive. The uniforms then were plain dress white and dress gray. Now, they look like ROTC.
On some occasions they still use those uniforms, if we’re not mistaken
@@thebaguiochannel they should keep that tradition - it sets them apart as "cream of the crop" as we used to be pep-talked. Dati nag issue ng gabardine uniform siguro nagtipid - ang pangit, so tinanggal. (Kahit gusto ng iba kasi hindi nagugusot).
@@rolanaguila3273 we noticed the white uniforms soil easily as well, some routines require that they genuflect
@ True. But even during regular Saturday parades on rainy days, our white pants got soiled, so the command came with the raincoat/raiboots attire which looked awesome.
