For the first time in nearly twenty years, there is now, thanks to this young Mayor, a credible and workable plan to have clean drinking water flowing out of the taps of Hammanskraal by as early as October this year!!

If the DA was smart, and opened negotiations with the ANC, rather than making silly and unrealistic demands, we could've had an ANC-DA coalition now, instead of an ANC-EFF coalition.

Is the DA referring to their coalition partners when they speak of “those thugs”? The DA has aligned itself with the ANC in the GNU, ensuring that MK does not govern KZN, and has previously formed alliances with ActionSA. Who, then, are these “bad” or “corrupt” politicians or parties being referenced? Is Herman Mashaba now considered an adversary simply because he no longer supports the DA? And what about the ANC, with whom the DA was willing to cooperate in Gauteng-are they now regarded as enemies?
I am eager to hear from community members who can genuinely testify to any improvements. As a resident of Pretoria North, Ward 96, with family in Hammanskraal and having grown up in Soshanguve, I am well aware of the quality-or lack thereof-of services provided to these areas. Are they treated equally? Absolutely not! This disparity highlights the DA’s apparent disregard for certain communities. Hammanskraal has been neglected for nearly a decade, and the conditions of our municipal roads and parks are deplorable.
We’ve reached a point where mayors hold press conferences to celebrate minor repairs, such as fixing a handful of streetlights that had been out for three years or patching a few potholes. The reality is that both the DA and the ANC have failed spectacularly, which explains their union in the GNU. As community members, we need tangible results, not fabricated success stories.

Bought these so called meters that only lasted 2 years and than had to be replaced - at the Tax payers cost! Please make sure of your facts before commenting.
