Encyclopedia of Hinduism. It comprises of eleven voluminous volumes. He is a retired Professor of English language ai founder of Indic studies in the JNU. Encyclopedia of Hinduism is a very expensive book yet it was sold out in with in one week of it's publication.

With all due respect to Rajiv ji and his body of work, His analytical and descriptive skills are amazing, but HIS PRESCRIPTIONS IN SOME CASES ARE DOWNRIGHT LETHAL.
1. To imagine that ethno-linguistic affinity will overcome the "othering" and alienation brought in by the Abrahamics faiths is illogical and historically incorrect. There is not a single example where ethnolinguistic affinity has been able to resist the virulent hate of Abrahamics. Each time the Abrahamics faith consumes and morphs the indigenous identity of the ethnolinguistic group.
Starting from Muhammad himself. His entire fight was against the ethnic Arabs, specifically the customs and religious practices of his own clan the Quraysh. He destroyed the original Kaaba of the accommodating polytheistic Arabs and imposed Islam on them.
Take again the example of any other ethnicity, Iranian, Egyptian, Syrian, Assyrian, Turkic, Caucasian, Ethiopian, Libyan, Berber, Nigerian, Ugandan, Malay, Indonesian, Afghani, Punjabi, Bengali, Kashmiri, Malayalee, Divehi(Maldives & Lakshadweep), etc. In each and every case the indegenous culture has succumbed. The often cited example of Indonesia is just some nostalgia that Hindus inculcate. All Hindu symbolism in Indonesia is being gradually eroded to the point of non-recognition.
There is no problem for a Islamic scholar to accept that their ancestors were pagan. It is just that they consider the indigenous culture inferior and fit for sub-humans. In fact, once the conversion of the majority of a group is complete, the ethnolinguistic identity complements and reinforces the Islamic identity. e.g.: Arab, Persian, Malay, Chechen, Turk, Afghan, etc.
The aforementioned argument holds for Christianity too.
2. To suggest that a Hindu India should have no interest in taking over Pakistan, Bangladesh or for that matter any part of the world, is an error that displays a gross lack of Strategic thinking.
Let us perform a though experiment: Assume the partition happened with Pakistan having the lions share of the land, resources, people. How long would Pakistan let a non-Muslim India survive? For that matter, if the Indian subcontinent would have been majority muslim, there would be no partition.
Any Hindu state, India or otherwise should aspire to increase its share of land, resources and people, by any means necessary. If "modern" Hinduism fails to inculcate this mindset, it will die a whimpering Darwinian death.
For any able-bodied, rational agent, this sort of idealogy with a defeatist mindset in very unattractive and near-lethal in the long run. If you are not expanding, someone else is expanding at your cost.

Friends, it is all great to upvote this video and praise Rajiv Malhotra for what he is doing. However, money is needed to get these things done. Rajiv is literally a one-man army fighting a vast network that is trying to undermine dharma and destabilize India. Please consider making a monetary donation to Infinity Foundation. I personally consider donation to IF more beneficial than giving to temples.
Very good conversation with Rajiv ji and I came to know about this host for the first time. He seems to be very reasonable. Pakistan state has worked very hard to erase their people's true history and brainwash them with false narratives with hindu-hatred, india-hatred, etc. When I meet a paksitani, most of whom are very friendly people, are truly surprised to see a hindu as a most decent human being! A foreign religion thrusted upon a population for centuries does this. The 99 year solution seems plausible, but I doubt if Pakistan will take it. If they did, there will be no basis for their creation and also no reason to beg for more money from cheena or the USA.

It is imperative to passionately critique these policies to safeguard the idea of India as a diverse and inclusive nation, ensuring that every citizen, irrespective of their background, can live with dignity, security, and the freedom to express their identity without fear of persecution.
All that said and done what's being followed in India by the so called champions of sanatan" and hindutva is a distorted version and leads to polarisation of society on the basis of religion,caste,creed,community
