- This is my first reaction and review of the fan-made and not-for-profit Scarland art book! The book represents my Hermitcraft season 9 megabase, Scarland, as a real operating theme park.

This is a fan-project made by a passionate team of 61 individuals and after gaining approval from GoodTimesWithScar and the rest of the Hermits, we dedicated our time and passion to make this project into a physical book. All proceeds will be donated to charity.
The Scarland Artbook is an independent and not-for-profit fan project. The Artbook is unaffiliated with GoodTimesWithScar and the Hermitcraft SMP. All content contained within are artists’ interpretation and do not represent GoodTimesWithScar’s vision for the park.

The first page "For Jellie" made me cry. That was so sweet and really shows how special she was to the HC and MC community.

1. I won't deny it, I got extremely emotional watching this and actually started crying.
2. I would love to have a chill mini-series where Scar moves the park into an empty world and finishes building it in its entirety (no pressure to do too much at once obviously), and I am definitely doing that right now.
He actually said that he plans on doing that on the last episode of hc s9 still though, no confirmations on wether hes gonna make it or not

I remembered what Grian wrote on the sign he put in Scarland "Everything you build contains a part of your beatiful soul". So beatiful there's actually a book of it now! This video has made me so happy

As soon as you said "Give Kids the World", and started describing it, I teared up; I had cancer when I was 2 years old, and got a trip to Give Kids the World as well as Disney World, thanks to Make a Wish, and they actually gave us the opportunity to come back years later. They're an incredible foundation that gave me some fantastic memories during a really difficult period of my life, so it makes me incredibly happy to hear that you wanted to help donate to their cause.
You are the best, Scar.

I would not be surprised if in 30 years some Billionaire who used to watch Hermitcraft goes through a midlife crisis and within his nostalgia he decides to make Scarland for real. I know the odds of that are miniscule, but humans are built on hope. This book is imagination in its purest form. Thank you Scar. Thank you Artists. Thank you Jellie.

One of the people who worked on it here, it was an absolute joy to work on. We all went on such an emotional journey for it and I cannot wait to see Scar’s reaction to it.

The second best part about this book is the collaboration of different artists with different styles making such a unique style of book. And the fact that they only got together to do it because of Scar’s Hermitcraft season.

The Jellie on the left in the centre looks like a real Jellie, compared to all the other animated ones. Well done to all the artists who brought this together.

What makes this sweeter is that it isn’t some major cooperation trying to make a quick buck. It’s people working on a passion project, and the fact that the money is intended to go to making kids vacations is awesome! Not to mention that it is so nice that it’s dedicated to Jellie. Keep going strong Scar! Fantastic work from the artists and I wish them well on their future paths. An actual 10/10 piece of art.

the scarland theme park was probably my favorite ever hermitcraft base
I wish it was teleported into Season 10, and he could keep on developing it.
Seeing all of the Jellies was so touching, she really was an incredible cat and an inspiration to the entire Minecraft community. I am so thankful we can all have our own adventures with her in Minecraft!
scarland should be made into a real life theme park
it sounds way more fun than Disneyland tbh, i imagine it would have lots of attractions ofc but for the most part i think it would just be a pretty and fun place for kids to just explore with probably no dangerous rides and stuff.
i would spend my life savings on merch

1. scale things down significantly to just a shop or ride
2. get sponsored by a megacorp (unlikely)
3. have scar spend the rest of his pitching for it

The dedication to Jelly and hidden Jellys made me cry. She was/is so important to the community and now is immortalized in this amazing collection or artistry. It's amazing seeing the amazing artistry that scar created in MC, brought into realistic ideas. Amazing job to those who contributed.
When my brother had cancer several years ago, we were taken to Disney at Give Kids the World. It was a tough time, but this organization gave us time away from the fear and struggle we were going through. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Scar, for supporting this organization. It means more than I could ever explain. Much love, my friend.

Hello Scar, Im an 18 year old struggling with Cystic Fibrosis and I was granted a Make-A-Wish in 2018 to go to Orlando, We visited Disney and Universal Studios. Me and my family stayed in the Give Kids The World Village for a week. I just want to thank you for doing this, you've not only given me comfort while I was in the hosptal, but many many people around the world
Scar, I'm truly so happy to be a part of this project. One of the most fulfilling ones I've ever been a part of, as an artist. Excited for you to get the final version of the artbook!

Scarland is the only build of any Hermit from any season that I would love to see made into it's own series where it is fully fleshed out. I would love to be able to visit a fully created Scarland and just marvel at it for hours.

Scarland is just phenomenal. It really looks absolutely great and it deserves more than a book. For example: video game, lego collection, easter egg hunt, Hermitcraft 20th year anniversary location, Animated movie about Jellie, and of course the Real life *Scarland* etc. If that place even exists, I will always prefer to go there first, if I travel.

We’re all so so proud of you for making your own dreams come true. I never would’ve expected a minecraft build to be made into a book but no one deserves it more.
I completely understand if it isn’t feasible or Scar wants to focus on other things, but I would love to see scarland be moved to a single player world so he could add in all the stuff he didn’t get a chance to! I just adore it so so much!

I'm still hoping that at some point all that season 9 Scarland work gets ported into a different wold with the Create mod, and you invite Tango, Impulse, Zedaph, Bdubs, Pearl, and Cleo to finish the theme park with Create mod roller coasters, then invite all the Hermits and Empires players in to ride and explore everything.
Immediately pre-ordered (that Australian shipping cost ain’t stopping me lol). It’s absolutely incredible. The talent, kindness and commitment this community has blows me away. Scarland and the Swaggon are my favourite builds and I’m so happy to have physical reminders of how amazing they are.
Scar, i think i speak on behalf of most viewers when i say; please please please continue Scarland in your own world. You had so many plans and ideas for rides and the sci-fi area and such that unfortunately weren't possible due to the time constraint of a season, but i would absolutely love to watch you keep on working this amazing project. I understand its a huge time investment if you do keep going, so im not fussed if you were to do it in creative or like a special release episode every other month or something, but i would so enjoy seeing Scarland expanded to its fullest potential, it was easily my favorite project on the whole of Hermitcraft season 9!

I know that the VR video went wrong for you at the end, but it would be cool if you used it to tour Scarland and maybe set the settings to peacefull so it would be safer for you. Like it would make the experiance of going thru Scarland even more realistic.

The joy i hear in Scar’s voice is the best reminder in a while of just how much art can bring a community together. I love this so much already and this book will take a place of honor on my ‘art books’ shelf!
I wanted to show appreciation to you Scar for fostering this community, I'm pretty new here but I jumped in at the end of season 9. My mum passed away several years back from a degenerative muscular condition (Alexander's disease) and quite a few years I was her carer. A lot of loves, a lot of desires and things I wish could have been and coming to terms with that as well as the diagnoses of my own disabilities. But you being here gives me hope that my own wishes as all these things in my head aren't a vat of hopeless never to be's. That I don't have to be perfect or neurotypical, I can just put something out there to share with friends.
Scar I’ve been having the worst day. A bunch of little things all piled up at once. It makes me so happy to see your face and hear your voice. I love everything you do, I’ve been a fan since 2014, I am your number one fan I love you and your content so much. I (obviously) never met jellie, but I loved her like I knew her. The first page of this book made me ray “for jellie”. I appreciate what you do so much. Thank you for being the most scar person you could be. (“ good times with Scar-y” is the biggest compliment of an adjective I could think of)
I say we try to fund an actual park built based on this and make Scars dream come true
I wish they could create a server dedicated to Scarland - with all the Hermits helping to build each attraction until the park is completely finished.

I love that so many different types of artists collaborated on this - obviously it started with Scar's amazing minecraft artistry, but now we have of course digital painters, architects, florists, product designers and the skill of the text design/format artists who organized the other amazing art into a book!
The first page got me. 😭 There is such amazing artwork and the work that went into making this book is INSANE. Just look at what you've inspired Scar!! This is so heartwarming 💛
My child was a recipient of one of those wishes. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is that people give to Give Kids the World. It was truly a wonderful experience❤. My daughter's been through a lot, giving her a safe way to experience a vacation of her dreams was truly a memory we will keep with us for the rest of our lives. They also bring in families with kids whose siblings passed away from cancer. It's worth every penny.
This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen a fan base come together and do. To all the artists that had a part in this, thank you, and my deepest respect as a fellow artist. So much work, and more importantly, love and passion, clearly went into every page of this.

As an artist I understand how much work was put into this project and I was crying the whole time you were showing it to us Scar ❤ it's a beautiful piece of art that I will hold dear to my heart for a long time.

I hardly ever cry. This is the first time in ages that I’ve had tears streaming down my face. I love this. Scar, you are such an inspiration. I didn’t watch most of season 9, but I love your passion for your builds and dreams. I hadn’t seen Scarland for ages, and this is the first time I’ve seen the entire park. It’s incredible. The amount of time you put into creating the park, designing it, building it. It’s incredibly admirable. I’m crying again.
It’s so touching that people loved this so much to make an entire book out of it. I love this community. The time and architecture and art and love poured into the book is so precious, and every artist in there is so talented.

You can just feel the love and dedication the people put into this book on every page. The way everyone just came together for a common loving goal. Scar is easily one of the most lovable creators on youtube, his story, the way he tells it, the way he fills all of our hearts. its impossible not to love this man. Love you Scar, thank you for taking us through your dreams.
I have no words to say, other than how beautiful some communities could be, in this tough world. Scar literally doesn't know how to be angry, his face muscles doesn't know any of negative emotes, man is absolute beam of light and positivity, im deeply thankful for finding scar channel, and community he's gathered around himself.
I'm not "classical art enjoyer", i can't understand "beauty of classical music or paintings", but with each page turn, with each eye movement i've been doing, i was barely holding my emotions, due to being part of this wholesome community, that knows Scar's issues which he shared with us.

I would love this book so much family doesn’t have the money but love to get to see this. This may sound weird but scar being in a wheelchair has brought me hope for my own brother in a wheelchair that he can still live his life to the fullest he as he could. ❤️

Seeing this video today healed something in my heart. I lost my cat about exactly a year before Jellie joined her in kitty heaven, so I feel for you Scar. Thank you for everything! Scarland holds a special place in my heart. 💚 I can't wait to get my artbook!

It can't be overstated how all the love and care that went into the artbook is a reflection of all the love and care that Scar put into Scarland itself.
Scar, thank you for everything you do. In February, my dog Riley of 13 years passed away, the next week, my 2 year old nephew was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma. The very next month, my beloved cat Mammas got sick and we had to put her down. It's been a devastatingly hard year so far. Your videos and work with charity gives me hope and puts a smile on my face. Seriously thank you for all you do!

This shows the level of love and care people have for Scar's project. I never thought that the best and most creative build on Hermitcraft would be in a book. Such artwork!

im super new to Scar's community, but seeing the love for Jellie right at the start really is a tearjerker... this community is just wonderful!
One of the reasons I love this community so much, when a bunch of talented people get together with a minor-major obsession and a dream they can create something as good as, if not better than professional companies with millions of dollars can produce. And the fact the proceeds are going to such a good cause are amazing. Well done to all the amazing artists and Scar for inspiring so many people!
