    Apologies for the video quality on this one folks - super blurry! Hope you manage to enjoy it, none-the-less!

      As I've played this game already, just listening to you was enough. Great job and good fun.
      I love this game. So well put together and so evocative.

      @@Hybban glad to hear it! And agreed - mechanically, it's a neat game, but it's the setting and descriptive table entries that really make it!

    Thanks for part 1 and 2! While I had read the rules a couple times, it was not quite sinking in, and having never played a solo-rpg I was hesitant to start. After watching your videos (a couple times) it was a boost I needed to dive in and start my first mission today. Thanks for the clear and concise playthrough.

    Even though there isn't really any combat (which I enjoy), this still seems like a fun game to give it a shot.

      I kinda like occasionally having a game without combat, not that I have that many solo games that fit this category!

    Appreciate the look into this game. One of my worries with games like this is that there can be a surfeit of bad rolls that can lead to a death spiral, but as long as there are options and resources to spend it can feel a little less ruled by the dice it seems.
    What is the intro music for this video from, by the way?
    I do dig the emphasis on exploration and engine building in this game, good to have alternatives to the usual encounter resolutions.

    • @lone_adventurer
      @lone_adventurer  Рік тому +1

      Yeah - the game provides plenty of ways to mitigate bad rolls / make decisions about improving this or that stat that you're finding might be impacting your game.
      The title music is Deep Crawler by Crossedkiller (crossedkiller.itch.io/dungeon-music).
      Thanks for watching!

      Thanks! Honestly, I'm not sure I'm gonna have time in the immediate future. I've got a couple of games I want to tackle right now so I can do some videos for them and I just received 2D6 Dungeon, and I wanna give that a good amount of time!

    Hi, quite enjoy your videos, i had a question, what makes you choose analog games vs videogames? Or do you do both, in which case what are some videogames that you're fond of?

    • @lone_adventurer
      @lone_adventurer  Рік тому +1

      Hi, thanks for commenting! I do love video games, but there's a time trade-off unfortunately. I've found that as I grow this channel (and work on my other side-project -- drawing maps as Ways Unseen), I don't really have time to play video games. Which sucks, but such is life.
      So why did I choose analogue games? I think just because I wanted to play them, plus there's a simplicity to filming them - set the game up and press record. I'd like to occassionally do a video-game playthrough as well (have been considering doing a series on Steve Jackson's Sorcery game, but haven't had time to play it!).
      Finally - video games I'm fond of are likely all to be a little older. I loved the Monkey Island games, Fallout 3. I'm fond of the zela games (the N64 one onwards).

    Hi. thanks for your great game play video! I'm also trying to figure the mystery of the pyramid in the game "ENTITY".
    I understand you are not the designer of the game though I have a question.
    If I choose missions which only have two aspects 10 times due to repeatable missions, I think I can read all of the discovery and game ends.
    That would be bit easy to finish game. Therefore is there should be some restriction to choose missions? Or nothing?
    sorry for my bad English.
    I'm always looking forward your new game playthrough videos!!

    • @lone_adventurer

      Hi there! That thought occurred to me too! As you say, I wonder if the easier (lower aspect) missions shouldn't trigger a discovery....

      Hello, sure you can do the less-aspect missions to get into discovery sooner. I am respecting time of every single player, so therefore i am not restricting that, its up to you how much time you have and/or how much time you want to invest to a single game.
