Arrival and installation of our Pod Ullmhor at Tig Lammax

The lorry arrived in the pouring rain but that did not deter the hard-working Tadhg Dineen (Tadhg Dineen Transport) who managed the installation with professionalism, determination and a great eye for accuracy!
The Pod Ullmhor is manufactured by Cisco Woodframe Homes Ltd in Lixnaw, Co Kerry and sold by Pods Ireland.
Tig Lammax (www.tiglammax.com) is a small family run B&B in the quiet countryside 4 miles (6km) from the mid-Cork town of Macroom which is strategically located midway between Cork city and Killarney, the gateway to the West of Ireland. It is an ideal base for touring West Cork, the beginning of the Wild Atlantic Way and of course, the ring of Kerry, the Beara Peninsula and the Dingle Peninsula.

Hi, great video. I was wondering, two years after it has been installed, how has your experience of this pod been? Also, if you could let us know roughly how much it cost to buy the pod, get it installed, did you install a separate septic tank? What are you doing for electric power? I would be really helpful... ;) I'm thinking about setting up a pod for holiday rental in Scotland. As they look really nice, I'm just wondering about costs etc :) Thanks.

Our experience has been excellent and our guests love it. It has stood up to the weather very well with only small signs of varnish deteriorating. I am re-varnishing the whole exterior this autumn, weather permitting. The delivered cost was under €20k but there were significant installation costs - ground prep, connecting sewage, water & electricity plus furnishing.
