I would say 95% of the cigars I smoke are for review, so my hobby is really cigar reviews, not cigars. We mostly smoke new stuff and very few of them are winners, which is mathematically how it's supposed to work. There are lots of long standing brands/lines that are good cigars, that we don't review a lot because most people want to read about the new releases.
@@DevelopingPalates so…..the cigars you review are in general, not good. I mean i get it. I usually agree with you guys and I know when you give it a “good” rating it is probably good. Basically what this shows me is that there are very FEW good cigars in general, and the ones you review MIGHT be good, but more times than not, they are NOT good lok
@@lgtony99 This is exactly the case. If most of the new cigars that came out every year we're good, where would the good cigars from the previous year go, or the ones the year before that and before that? Very few new cigars are winners, regardless of what everyone that posts on social media says.
@@DevelopingPalates this makes sense. The standard “good” cigars are decades old. I would like to see you guys do a video review of “7.0 or above” cigars released during or after 2015. Maybe you have such a video?
@@lgtony99 When we review older stuff, it's usually a single person review and we don't do a video for it, so it would just be a written review on the website. We do have those 7+ older cigars and you can browse the website to check some out.
I have been watching you guys for awhile. It’s funny to me Aaron even smokes cigars as a hobby when 75% of the time he has an “average” experience.
