Bro, dude holds the ball like it's a new born baby. Way to long. Misses his first opportunity, then runs and panicks, just like Pickett. Can the Steelers get a quarter back. Noz there to frickin cheap. Money wins games not saving money. Never will we win a superbowl with tight pockets .

    Steelers are ranked 27th Rush/EPA & 25th Rush/YPP.
    Steelers are ranked 11th Pass/EPA & 14th Pass/YPP.
The ineffectiveness of the running game is making the offensive game plan much more difficult.
Once the running game gets on track, this offense can get really scary with Fields at the helm!

It is because the Oline can't get their shit together. Mike Tomlin needs to step away from flip-flopping that depth chart. Also, he needs to re-evaluate what he is doing in practice because these injuries are becoming obvious, which is an issue. Too many knee ankle and hamstring injuries....

I’m a Steeler fan and happy to have fields. I love his ability to create and use his legs. He’s a major weapon in the red zone and he’s been taking care of the ball (for the most part) and his deep ball has looked beautiful. I’d really love to see him throw with more anticipation and attempt to throw at tighter windows sometimes. I see a lot of potential passes on the film that I think he has the ability to make but doesn’t either because he isn’t confident in himself or he’s just not seeing them. He’s extremely young and I hope he just gets better and better.

My critiques of Justin are her needs to learn when to throw the ball away. I know his legs will get us yards but going backwards or nothing there under press, just get rid of it man. He must stay focused, get the sanps fixed. His zip on ball too much sometimes, like Farve. I like him not forcing it. He needs to keep watching that. He should audible some of those stupid first down najee runs that defenses are consistently stacking. Once he starys doing that, then Najee may get more on first down runs but im afraid Tomlin has beat that play to death, no one is ever fooled so Justin needs to audible like Big Ben did a lot. He practically called his own plays cause Pittsburgh OC room has been stale on playcalling for years.

First, I appreciate your analysis. I would suggest that the running back was expected to be up inside the numbers or at best, running a drag route to counter that outside linebacker (OLB) and the zone coverage and that pressure. That would give the quarterback a body to throw toward at the forty-five-yard line.

Great commentary! What is this wretched first half JINX that is still killing the Steelers?? They really have to get things started much earlier. Maybe a bit more conservative play calling would help, but certainly shouldn't mean just more rushing plays! I have no worries or doubts about Justin Fields!! He damn near won the game for them despite the Steelers' terrible litany of bad errors during that AGONIZING first half. I for one would be very hesitant to replace Fields with Wilson when the latter is finally good to go. Maybe Wilson will again be playing like a first string starting NFL QB upon his return, but Fields is ALREADY playing like one! So keep your faith in him, so that he keeps his faith in YOU, would be my main message to Tomlin and rest of the the Steelers coaching team! All in all, things still look very good for us, even if Dallas will be another kind of test for our men!

NFL refs may be racists or it may be because hes young. I noyice a lot of young QBs and black QBs dont get the same calls when getting hit. Not tryna start nothing but its a noticeable enough trend it makes me wonder. It's not right for young QBs and if it's a racist thing with these refs then thats definitely not cool either. All we ever want as fans is to see consistency when refs call penalties. That should always be the goal of the NFL to ensure consistent officiating game to game around the league.

The very first play you showed he had all the time the pocket wasn't collapsing why couldn't he wait for Austin or somebody else to come open over the middle? His first two reads haven't had the chance to develop before he was already turning to the ✔️ down? I think he needs to just slow down when the opportunity allows it, obviously you don't want to wait too long to take a sack but that's what I'm saying he needs to improve on. 👍 And I believe with more time and more confidence he will get there shortly.
