I'm f2p and I can say you can totally play this game and even enjoy the gachas without spending if you can manage your diamonds well. You're never going to be able to get everything so you have to be mindful and save for what you REALLY love. And I know it's hard to resist temptation in this game but if you have a good mental for your in game economy, you won't miss anything! Also I would tip to never be like me and just rush the game, do like dish and take it slowly ❤
I’m also F2P and haven’t hit any roadblocks in the game yet, I do take the story slow and do a lot of exploration! I haven’t been spending diamonds on anything because truthfully there’s so many cute outfits already in the game. I just sorta ignore the gacha unless I get free crystals from events.
I started playing because you referred to it as a girls game and i LOVE it, the whole exploring, the storyline, dressing up aspect is just amazing, i didnt know how soothing this game is :)
The only part I disagree heavily on is 12:40. Vital energy is very very slow compared to what all you need it for. Maybe because you're kinda behind in the game compared to most you don't realize it but most things need vital energy to craft. Whether its for Bouldy Crystals, realm insight/bubbles, the weekly boss fight, or crafting random items that require at least 100 vital energy for something as small as earrings. 1 vital energy per 5 minutes is very slow.
i know it might seem annoying, but this is pretty generous compared to the previous nikki games, where getting one part of an outfit can take you half a year if not more, infinity nikki is pretty easy on rewards. You're supposed to take it slow and not rush through the process of it all

That makes sense! I can see how players who have been grinding feel the time gating from vital energy and have to be patient to craft high-resource items. My experience is that there has been so much to do that I’m rarely lacking for tasks to do. (I play about 1-2 hours a day, for reference!) Make sure you fill out the feedback form, they may add more methods to earn energy!
I’d chock that down to preference tbh. In term of progress I have all 3 dew outfits, the aurosa outfit, all the rare items I’ve found crafted, all stars the mira competition thing, etc. So far for me the pacing been great. Everyday I’d at least get something done, if not full outfits done. For the more resource demanding outfit like the dew outfits it would take up to 2-3 days at most. Which I’ll argue isn’t a lot, especially for a Nikki game. The map is also massive so when my vital run out I find myself exploring the world for hours n by the time I’m tired of that my vital already regenerate quite a bit.
tbf on the mobile performance, i couldnt see the flower details when it just came out, but they have since made it that you can take very very detailed pictures with all the flowers and even the mountains in the distance somehow, i dont know what kind of magic that was but this event theres more and more bushes and trees and things in the world???? it is very different now. the grafitties however remain blurry... for reference i use a redmi 10

I played the other nikki games back when covid hit, if they treat this game like those, it will be f2p friendly if you keep up with it. If you fall behind it will be noticable, namely with vital energy resources. Styling contests will get more specific as the game progresses requiring more specific pieces of clothes since people will have had time to flesh put their wardrobes by then. And yea, these games will trigger fomo hard. You won't need the banner outfits but they do their best to make you feel like it. Ie adding new elements (in this case the faster float) or making rotating content that fits the running outfit perfectly.
I hope they won't make it specific items. I remember in Love Nikki, they did that, and I literally couldn't play the levels because each required an outfit piece I didn't have. Though they have already added past game features like unlocking Miracle outfit to progress in the game.
The gacha being super low (as in 1200 gems for a ten pull) is also super refreshing as it doesn’t feel like you have to grind super hard to have plenty of pulls, especially with how much you get from clearing content. It really makes it feel less like a gacha game or that the gacha isn’t the whole point of the game since you don’t necessarily need the limited outfits to clear things.
yet the hard pity is anywhere between 160-200 pulls. did you know if you get a recolour by accident, you get a recolour item but won't be able to claim the recolour outfit without the main outfit? yeah.... i learned this the hard way after hitting the 191 pity for the fairy outfit and i don't even care for the recolour as an f2p. i was STRESSED because the banner was short. at least they've made the 5* banner longer now but i still have my gripes with their gacha system. other than that i love the game and do enjoy it despite the occasional frustrations playing on mobile 🥲
@ obviously luck is definitely a factor, i hear you, but even then the chances of getting an early five star or even multiple in the same pull feel better than other games (especially since you’re guaranteed to get a five star every twenty pulls). hopefully your pulls from here on are lucky !!! 💙💙
ive been loving the game so much too! one thing i appreciate regarding the gacha system is that i find a lot of free/lower star items to be just as cute as 5 star ones. you can make so many nice outfits without any limited banner items at all; it lessens the impact of fomo a lot for me. also the camera mode is honestly one of the best i've ever experienced in a game, i've spent so much time taking pictures 😂
Also If you want to resist and not spend you need to think about what you’re pulling. For example I pulled for the Fairy outfit and the Crystal one from standard banner, not knowing they both are Sweet. And now I wish I pulled for the Sexy standard one instead. But well, makes for a challenge now. And for the 4 star banner I pulled the Froggy one. So my Sexy items are only two 4 star individual ones and a bunch of 3 stars. But I really love love Nikki and I am looking forward to seeing more videos on Nikki Dish💜 btw your hair looks amazing!!!
i legit made a list of rules for me pulling on banners, like if I get a full outfit then i wait atleast 2 banners before pulling. or limiting myself to 1 of the paid outfits a month with a few exceptions like collabs. it may change as the game progresses but its a good base line for me.
I have a ton of faith in Infinity Nikki because the developers have been running live service gacha dress up games for a long time at this point. I still play the previous two Nikki games because they're still really fun to keep up with. The revenue made from those two games has been crazy in the past, and you can see how successful they've been in the budget for IN. When IN was first announced I was disappointed because I assumed it wouldn't be available on mobile at all with how advanced it looked. Being ale to play it on an iPad and have things look super nice is incredible. All of the QOL updates are just the icing on the cake for me.
My thoughts! I agree on how relaxing this game is, I always feel so calm when I’m playing this (when I’m not chasing Whimstars or collecting its fragments.. some breezy meadow Whimstars drive me nuts lol). So I try to play it last unless I need to dedicate a day to another game. It just feels like a breath of fresh air to me c: So far I’ve been able to save a bit because I wasn’t really that interested in the two 5 stars we got, but I did pull on the previous 4 star banner (both 4 stars), and I feel like that banner was luckier than what I’ve pulled on the Fairy outfit from the free limited timed pulls we got lmao. A couple things I’ve noticed is that on mobile, the voices are quiet even though everything is maxed out, and sometimes the music overpowers the voices. And I can’t see the attributes/stats when I tap on a piece like you can when you click on a piece, which is really annoying when I want to see a eureka. I can only play on mobile due to my physical disability, so hopefully they’ll fix that 🫠
For seeing attributes/stats for clothing and eurekas on mobile I usually have to hold down on the square(?) that shows the items and it shows the stats for me!
I actually can’t see a square (?) anywhere, but I did discover that you can tap and hold and they appear :o I feel.. real dumb now because that’s 1 suggestion that I put on the feedback forms… LMAO welp :p
oh yeah so that low voice problem wasn’t just me!! i tried to get around that by lowering the BGM volume down to 80% and it sounds fine for now, hopefully a fix update will be done
I do that too, but I’m weird and like to have everything maxed out lol. That, and I’m hearing impaired and like to hear the bgm while the characters are talking. Feels more impactful (I don’t know why UA-cam won’t keep the @'s anymore, it’s annoying)
I 100000000% agree with all that you said about this game - and especially the need for more outfit slots!!! With the addition of a Nikki-owned and decorated Island coming in the next few months, I can only think of one other thing I'd want from this game - the ability to challenge my sister to a style battle!!! I feel like adding some sort of Mira Crown/Curio Domain-esque area where we would be allowed to throw down 1v1 or even in rounds with randoms would be the final straw of brilliance
YESS I would love fun little styling competitions with other people!! That would be so fun and would be an amazing end-game addition for people who have powered through the game already lol

The fact that you don't have to hit creatures to interact with them says a lot. This game is so healthy it's really hard for me to head towards any other one.

I did not discover that blue dragon thing until way late, I had over 1500 dews when i found him and almost maxed out the rewards he gives. The dews 100% worth getting. Infinity Nikki so far is a 10/10 masterpiece!
Your referral is why I decided to pick up the game, and it has truly been a blessing to my life as it puts me in such a calm head space and allows me to process my thoughts; part of the reason I was able to finally leave my toxic workplace. It has been incredibly beneficial to my mental health, and I know I am not the only one.
The big thing that helps with the gacha in Nikki games, is that they usually come back on a regular basis. So if you miss it the first time around, there is still a good chance for it to come back. They usually keep the pull progression, too. It also helps that some of these are tied to holidays and annual events, so you can gauge which gachas you can prioritize.

Nikki was more than I expected. I really learned what a truly chill game is. Here I thought I was so creative pairing the star hat and yellow gold dress with green hair.😂😂 Not mad though. That combo hits so hard. And it is cool we both thought of it! I did pull on the banner with the yellow gold dress because I wanted some cool 5 star items, but I have come to love it because its a dress that isn't too much to just to wear exploring. I found a little sword that I carry while wearing it and It makes me so happy. You can buy the sword from a faewish store in the wishing woods. The boots are suprising a love too! Not too girly and fancy, but still really cute. Also Dish I have loved that more and more you are sharing behind the scenes of what your are going through such as burnout and internet trolling. I am so much more invested in your strems now than every before. I have loved seeing you do other things, gaming or not. I would watch your streams about almost anything. You mentioned that your core following are people who enjoy being creative and having meaning converstations and I agree. Also hearing how everyone (on twitch) is processing world events is very comforting to me too. I feel less overwhelmed and discouraged knowing there are other good people out there trying to do the best we can.
As someone in the process of crafting this wishful arousa outfit, I love the story so much. It's so much more than I was expecting and I found myself really being captured and caring about the little characters we encounter along the way. It's so surprisingly deep about in its themes throughout the story and how complex some characters are. The story has been one of my favorite parts of the game so far.
Yes!! Nikki games have surprisingly sometimes really compelling & interesting stories so I’m glad the stories are pretty good so far in this game too 🥹
the only problem/contradiction about the optimization is that this is targeted as being the first game for girls (even having more detailed explanation on the tutorials for jumps, shadow on landing and stuff that is default for people who are used to play games), and still requires a powerful setup to have the full experience. Meaning that most likely girls who don't usually play, won't have a good pc/phone and won't be able to enjoy the pretty world, so they may not be as attracted to game. don't get me wrong, I do love the game and I'm playing it a lot every day, but as a developer, we know it's not hard to have a good optimized game, we can check the files that they didn't modify many of the default "settings" so we can see there is additional work that could've been put into it
I know all of that - I just wanted to make a point for people who don't play games already and want to try and see before spending any money on upgrades. with a budget pc/phone, the nikki world isn't as attractive (and budget phone vary a lot depending on the country)
Gather, groom, fish as you come across things while exploring. You should have most of what you need to craft Wishful Aurosa when you unlock all the pieces on the skill tree.

And they gave us styling bonuses in the Heart of Infinity that may or may not affect the score. They just have events with limited-time crystals and with normal. This time around, these are normal ones. 28:55 With a 10-piece outfit, you'll need around 173 pulls to get one full set (156 for 9 piece and 190 for 11), so with 230 pulls you are likely to be somewhere in the middle of acquiring the second copy. Worst-case scenario for 10-piece is 400 pulls, and average scenario is ~345.
YES, I also love that Nikki is just down with whatever! It's so funny when I think about what they were doing before they got to Miraland, they were just like, regular people and then boom fashion icons P.S. If you press the number keys you can switch between your ability outfits! It makes grooming way easier lol
I really love the game, i already reached the end game content 😭 and i'll tell you that this game is F2P friendly, even i am an F2P myself and i am able to save 100+ wishes (after clearing the newest update contents) since the last time i completed the fairy outfit (140 wishes) and i did roll on the frog outfit (i forgot, i think i spent around 50-60 wishes). So that is how much i have spent and i still have saving 100+ wishes, i would say that is pretty good. I'll be wishing on the next update.
i have around 140 limited pulls saved up now just from playing the game....waiting for an outfit i feel like i truly love to pull. honestly i've been having the most fun trying to style the random sketches around miraland :3
I’m gonna save my diamonds for vital energy refills so if I run low on bubbles or bouldy stones I won’t have to wait days or a week to get what I need.
What makes me so emotional is that when I grew up I was steered away from 'girl games' because they weren't considered to be 'real games' I've had a lot of internal stuff because of it and now, to see it done with such love and without dumbing anything down... it just feels so wonderful. Also, as one of the fabled spreadsheet girlies of genshin... I love how easy crafting is. So much so that I'm actually doing more of a latitudinal playthrough. I'm not in a rush to get to either miracle outfit and I'm finding so many pieces of clothing in the world. And at a far less of a cost than the remarkable chests in genshin.
I definitely think that the game needed more time in the oven, so to speak (some early cutscenes that were missing poses/animations in the beta were/are still missing them when I got to them again), but I'm glad they're being swift with implementing optimizations and suggestions. I tend to play games for the story more than anything, so I _did_ end up speeding my way through all the story content, but I was able to do so relatively quickly without spending. That gives me some confidence that the game will be free-to-play friendly for a good while, gameplay-wise (sure it's a different story if you're a collector and/or prone to fomo, but I don't use collectibles as points against something being f2p). a 3-star outfit was good enough to get the sovereign of sexy medal. it needed to be maxed out, but that's plenty doable for free over the course of a few days. I didn't have to regret not choosing different outfits on the banner, or go farm dews. I'm certainly glad they don't seem to be locking _lore_ behind the gacha, unlike a certain other infold game...
Gotta say imo, worst part of nikki is how grindy the game is, when i was unlocking Wishful Aurosa outfit, fighting the bosses to get the items u needed was the WORST time i had in this game, and i dont even wanna talk about what we have to do for second miracle outfit, im gonna do it for sure bc i Love the game sm, but girl. Thats so much grind.
i really love the game too! i think a silly thing i've found is that when i go into caves it'll be really dark for the first few steps and suddenly i'll be flashbanged as they adjust the lighting (it's happened more than once) but i find the game really fun! they definitely should teach nikki how to swim at some point though
I really appreciate how with infinity nikki it doesnt feel like a chore to log in everyday and it doesnt make me feel stressed at all. I just play every day because i actually like the game

I agree with you about the graphic quality, but, they make the choice to make it payable on mobile. Therfore, they have to find a solution for this problem. I can't complain because I just got a new phone. But I don't see myself buying another new phone that's worth a month of salary in a year or two just to play new games. Make it good or don't make it. A lot of games aren't available on mobile and it's okay 🙏
On the Permanant Resonance, I did crystal poems since I like the original color scheme. I just got the choice to get a recolor and I like the recolor of the pink outfit more, so I don't know if I should evolve crystal poems rn. The next time I get a chance to evolve will be before I am able to get the whole pink outfit.
There is no need to evolve right now if you aren't sure, you can just wait until you have everything for the pink outfit and evolve it then! The materials you already have won't disappear so you can just hold into them for now.
This is the girly game of my dreams! I love it and I don't mind that some things are daily, I can squeeze some time and get that done but not stressed about not doing it either. It's truly cozy. I'm usually very mindful of my spending and I know I will probably spend a bit on it only if a dress is truly stunning. I had a lot of diamonds and I'm only one item short of the current 5 star one without spending any real money, so it's possible if you're mindful with your pulls
I did almost same decision as you, but quit Genshin to play only WuWa and Nikki. The only thing I find weird that all 5* outfits, esp limited ones, are not my cup of tea, now I wonder if all the 5* gonna be full gowns like that. So far I find 4* much more versatile and appealing, but it's not a complain because this is styling game and we all have different tastes in clothes. I'm just hoarding wishes in hope for something that'll be totally my style.
Yeah someone that doesn't like gown like me. Not that I hate it, it just all 5 star so far are gown outfit. I hope they put more varieties in long pants style. I don't like how most of them are like slim fit pants
For the use on phone, I’ve been using it on an iphone 10 and my pc, and even tho the quality on pc is way better, but the quality on my phone is not actually that bad, also I’m glad I started playing it infinity nikki cause it feels like a breath of fresh air between my other games
I'm really enjoying this game too, close ups on the fabric types left me in awe, my only con is some some double jumps are too hard for me. It also feels like an old time rpg that I grew up playing, they are a lot of sweet little quests scattered throughout, and the areas and npcs and dialogue are unique to their areas. I can't wait for the new areas to unlock ❤
started the game 3 days before the end of the frog banner (I manage to get it entirely), saw many pictures with the elf earrings, expect it to be in the "fairy woods" but I just learn in this video it was from the previous banner...
I love the game and i especially enjoyed the challenges, the mini games and the domains. It's my first time playing a dress up game and i didn't think i will enjoy this part of the game a lot but i create a new outfit at least 5 times a day
the game was very fun and i am enjoying my time on the game but after a while now i have encountered some things that i think could make my time easier. * First issue i encountered was the cutscene that appears everytime you brush animals, it felt highly unnecessary But this recent update they made it so you can skip it way faster and easily now. * This is something i wanted for myself since gacha games have drilled the word Grind into me. the vital energy; 3 years Ago there was a event in genshin when fishing was first introduced i spend hours and hours in one spot fishing to get that one achievement for fishing 8000 times or something like that and the event helped contribute to the achievement. For nikki i was hoping for a similar event to unlock for paths into the heart of infinity because there is no way they expect you to fish,brush,collect,fight mobs 5000 Times with the daily limit being only 200 and 100. The realm of nourishment does help you out with issue but its honestly not that effective either because now i have to use my vital energy to unlock the ability's so i can start collecting Essense for outfits. What felt even more unfair is that on top on using my vital energy for nourishment i also need that for bloudy mats or else i can't craft the pieces.
Personally I'm only worried about the rerun problem and hope they do something to remedy that because in my opinion it's a very glaring problem in Shining Nikki. Also hopefully they add a toggle to not make Momo disappear during photo taking and my absolute dream feature would be that they let us customise the ability outfits but let's say you had to have either an x amount of the original outfit pieces or certain pieces on. It's surprising there's no guild feature because they exist both in Love and Shining Nikki. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from Infinity Nikki (probably because of the open world gacha game burn out) even though I'm a Love and Shining Nikki enthusiast but the game has absolutely blown me out of the water and I'm really excited to experience how it develops.
I didn't realize the graphics specs needed for this game on pc until my game kept crashing after 5-10 mins of gameplay, so now I play mobile. I'm just happy I can experience the coziness of the game at all!
About the mobile optimization, I personally believe theyre doing an amazing job. Though my game is still pretty glitchy (mainly the texturing), it still runs nice and smooth, it's incredible that a game of this caliber can even run on phones. So i'm incredibly thankfull for the team for working so hard trying to fix all issues to make the experience as enjoyable as possible, and i'll just be patient waiting for them to fix the bugs i'm having. Really enjoying the game so far ^^

It takes these girly aspects that I enjoy playing seriously but without cynicism or too much intensity. It has a starting place for more representation with the different skin tones. Only thing I need is more outfit slots and for it to not be so difficult to finish the factions I need to make the first miracle outfit but I haven’t been able to beat the factions that need cool or fresh outfits since I can’t seem to get good pieces for them lol

I'm not a girl anymore but I appreciate so much about this game and I really believe anyone can enjoy it if they like this kind of chill open world game. It has a lot to offer. I like to compare it to Pokemon in play style due to all the collecting and battles, but it also reminds me a lot of BoTW and Mario and FFXIV, plus being really cute and nostalgic.
infinity nikki is the only game i have genuanlly played since genshin. I've been playing genshin for years, and kept trying to play new games, and nikki is the only one i have kept more than two weeks since picking it up. (i play mobile cause i am to broke to get a pc)-- edit: it looks very pretty on my phone :3
I love the fact that I get myself lost in the open world in this game. One minute, I’m on task farming materials for outfits, and then the next thing I’m taking pictures and just admiring Nikki and the scenery around her. It’s just so beautiful 🥹

Do they still have a chance to trigger even though the celebration of it meta-wise is over? I think HSR has some kind of system for it, right?

Been loving the infinity nikki streams, but will there be any more kingdom hearts streams soon? You’re a few worlds away from finishing KH2, and the next few games are really good and explain some of the more confusing story bits.

It's relatively f2p friendly, but if you're the type of person who buys a skin in the first week of playing a f2p game then it's probably best to steer away.

I'm f2p and I can say you can totally play this game and even enjoy the gachas without spending if you can manage your diamonds well. You're never going to be able to get everything so you have to be mindful and save for what you REALLY love. And I know it's hard to resist temptation in this game but if you have a good mental for your in game economy, you won't miss anything!
Also I would tip to never be like me and just rush the game, do like dish and take it slowly ❤
I’m also F2P and haven’t hit any roadblocks in the game yet, I do take the story slow and do a lot of exploration! I haven’t been spending diamonds on anything because truthfully there’s so many cute outfits already in the game. I just sorta ignore the gacha unless I get free crystals from events.

I started playing because you referred to it as a girls game and i LOVE it, the whole exploring, the storyline, dressing up aspect is just amazing, i didnt know how soothing this game is :)
The only part I disagree heavily on is 12:40. Vital energy is very very slow compared to what all you need it for. Maybe because you're kinda behind in the game compared to most you don't realize it but most things need vital energy to craft. Whether its for Bouldy Crystals, realm insight/bubbles, the weekly boss fight, or crafting random items that require at least 100 vital energy for something as small as earrings. 1 vital energy per 5 minutes is very slow.

i know it might seem annoying, but this is pretty generous compared to the previous nikki games, where getting one part of an outfit can take you half a year if not more, infinity nikki is pretty easy on rewards. You're supposed to take it slow and not rush through the process of it all

That makes sense! I can see how players who have been grinding feel the time gating from vital energy and have to be patient to craft high-resource items. My experience is that there has been so much to do that I’m rarely lacking for tasks to do. (I play about 1-2 hours a day, for reference!)
Make sure you fill out the feedback form, they may add more methods to earn energy!
I’d chock that down to preference tbh. In term of progress I have all 3 dew outfits, the aurosa outfit, all the rare items I’ve found crafted, all stars the mira competition thing, etc. So far for me the pacing been great. Everyday I’d at least get something done, if not full outfits done. For the more resource demanding outfit like the dew outfits it would take up to 2-3 days at most. Which I’ll argue isn’t a lot, especially for a Nikki game. The map is also massive so when my vital run out I find myself exploring the world for hours n by the time I’m tired of that my vital already regenerate quite a bit.
tbf on the mobile performance, i couldnt see the flower details when it just came out, but they have since made it that you can take very very detailed pictures with all the flowers and even the mountains in the distance somehow, i dont know what kind of magic that was but this event theres more and more bushes and trees and things in the world???? it is very different now. the grafitties however remain blurry... for reference i use a redmi 10

If you can only play mobile I highly recommend two of their older games; Shining Nikki and Love Nikki, both are mobile only and just as good

I played the other nikki games back when covid hit, if they treat this game like those, it will be f2p friendly if you keep up with it. If you fall behind it will be noticable, namely with vital energy resources. Styling contests will get more specific as the game progresses requiring more specific pieces of clothes since people will have had time to flesh put their wardrobes by then.
And yea, these games will trigger fomo hard. You won't need the banner outfits but they do their best to make you feel like it. Ie adding new elements (in this case the faster float) or making rotating content that fits the running outfit perfectly.
I hope they won't make it specific items. I remember in Love Nikki, they did that, and I literally couldn't play the levels because each required an outfit piece I didn't have. Though they have already added past game features like unlocking Miracle outfit to progress in the game.
The gacha being super low (as in 1200 gems for a ten pull) is also super refreshing as it doesn’t feel like you have to grind super hard to have plenty of pulls, especially with how much you get from clearing content. It really makes it feel less like a gacha game or that the gacha isn’t the whole point of the game since you don’t necessarily need the limited outfits to clear things.
yet the hard pity is anywhere between 160-200 pulls. did you know if you get a recolour by accident, you get a recolour item but won't be able to claim the recolour outfit without the main outfit? yeah.... i learned this the hard way after hitting the 191 pity for the fairy outfit and i don't even care for the recolour as an f2p. i was STRESSED because the banner was short. at least they've made the 5* banner longer now but i still have my gripes with their gacha system. other than that i love the game and do enjoy it despite the occasional frustrations playing on mobile 🥲
@ obviously luck is definitely a factor, i hear you, but even then the chances of getting an early five star or even multiple in the same pull feel better than other games (especially since you’re guaranteed to get a five star every twenty pulls). hopefully your pulls from here on are lucky !!! 💙💙
ive been loving the game so much too! one thing i appreciate regarding the gacha system is that i find a lot of free/lower star items to be just as cute as 5 star ones. you can make so many nice outfits without any limited banner items at all; it lessens the impact of fomo a lot for me. also the camera mode is honestly one of the best i've ever experienced in a game, i've spent so much time taking pictures 😂
It's also super nice that you get currency for repeated pulls, it really helps it feel less bad to get copies of items.😊

Also If you want to resist and not spend you need to think about what you’re pulling. For example I pulled for the Fairy outfit and the Crystal one from standard banner, not knowing they both are Sweet. And now I wish I pulled for the Sexy standard one instead. But well, makes for a challenge now. And for the 4 star banner I pulled the Froggy one. So my Sexy items are only two 4 star individual ones and a bunch of 3 stars. But I really love love Nikki and I am looking forward to seeing more videos on Nikki Dish💜 btw your hair looks amazing!!!

i legit made a list of rules for me pulling on banners, like if I get a full outfit then i wait atleast 2 banners before pulling. or limiting myself to 1 of the paid outfits a month with a few exceptions like collabs. it may change as the game progresses but its a good base line for me.
I have a ton of faith in Infinity Nikki because the developers have been running live service gacha dress up games for a long time at this point. I still play the previous two Nikki games because they're still really fun to keep up with. The revenue made from those two games has been crazy in the past, and you can see how successful they've been in the budget for IN.
When IN was first announced I was disappointed because I assumed it wouldn't be available on mobile at all with how advanced it looked. Being ale to play it on an iPad and have things look super nice is incredible. All of the QOL updates are just the icing on the cake for me.

I agree on how relaxing this game is, I always feel so calm when I’m playing this (when I’m not chasing Whimstars or collecting its fragments.. some breezy meadow Whimstars drive me nuts lol). So far I’ve been able to save a bit because I wasn’t really that interested in the two 5 stars we got, but I did pull on the previous 4 star banner (both 4 stars), and I feel like that banner was luckier than what I’ve pulled on the Fairy outfit from the free limited timed pulls we got lmao.
A couple things I’ve noticed is that on mobile, the voices are quiet even though everything is maxed out, and sometimes the music overpowers the voices. And I can’t see the attributes/stats when I tap on a piece like you can when you click on a piece, which is really annoying when I want to see a eureka. I can only play on mobile due to my physical disability, so hopefully they’ll fix that 🫠

For seeing attributes/stats for clothing and eurekas on mobile I usually have to hold down on the square(?) that shows the items and it shows the stats for me!
I actually can’t see a square (?) anywhere, but I did discover that you can tap and hold and they appear :o I feel.. real dumb now because that’s 1 suggestion that I put on the feedback forms… LMAO welp :p
oh yeah so that low voice problem wasn’t just me!! i tried to get around that by lowering the BGM volume down to 80% and it sounds fine for now, hopefully a fix update will be done
I do that too, but I’m weird and like to have everything maxed out lol. That, and I’m hearing impaired and like to hear the bgm while the characters are talking. Feels more impactful

I 100000000% agree with all that you said about this game - and especially the need for more outfit slots!!! With the addition of a Nikki-owned and decorated Island coming in the next few months, I can only think of one other thing I'd want from this game - the ability to challenge my sister to a style battle!!! I feel like adding some sort of Mira Crown/Curio Domain-esque area where we would be allowed to throw down 1v1 or even in rounds with randoms would be the final straw of brilliance
YESS I would love fun little styling competitions with other people!! That would be so fun and would be an amazing end-game addition for people who have powered through the game already lol

The fact that you don't have to hit creatures to interact with them says a lot. This game is so healthy it's really hard for me to head towards any other one.

I did not discover that blue dragon thing until way late, I had over 1500 dews when i found him and almost maxed out the rewards he gives. The dews 100% worth getting.

The big thing that helps with the gacha in Nikki games, is that they usually come back on a regular basis. So if you miss it the first time around, there is still a good chance for it to come back. They usually keep the pull progression, too. It also helps that some of these are tied to holidays and annual events, so you can gauge which gachas you can prioritize.

Nikki was more than I expected. I really learned what a truly chill game is. Even though I haven't collected enough materials to complete my first outfit (couldn't get the wings... sadge), I'm waiting for the rerun. Here I thought I was so creative pairing the star hat and yellow gold dress with green hair.😂😂 Not mad though. That combo hits so hard. And it is cool we both thought of it! I did pull on the banner with the yellow gold dress because I wanted some cool 5 star items, but I have come to love it because its a dress that isn't too much to just to wear exploring. I found a little sword that I carry while wearing it and It makes me so happy. You can buy the sword from a faewish store in the wishing woods. The boots are suprising a love too! Not too girly and fancy, but still really cute. Also Dish I have loved that more and more you are sharing behind the scenes of what your are going through such as burnout and internet trolling. I am so much more invested in your strems now than every before. I have loved seeing you do other things, gaming or not. I would watch your streams about almost anything. You mentioned that your core following are people who enjoy being creative and having meaning converstations and I agree. Also hearing how everyone (on twitch) is processing world events is very comforting to me too. I feel less overwhelmed and discouraged knowing there are other good people out there trying to do the best we can.

As someone in the process of crafting this wishful arousa outfit, I love the story so much. It's so much more than I was expecting and I found myself really being captured and caring about the little characters we encounter along the way. It's so surprisingly deep about in its themes throughout the story and how complex some characters are. The story has been one of my favorite parts of the game so far.
Yes!! Nikki games have surprisingly sometimes really compelling & interesting stories so I’m glad the stories are pretty good so far in this game too 🥹
the only problem/contradiction about the optimization is that this is targeted as being the first game for girls (even having more detailed explanation on the tutorials for jumps, shadow on landing and stuff that is default for people who are used to play games), and still requires a powerful setup to have the full experience. Meaning that most likely girls who don't usually play, won't have a good pc/phone and won't be able to enjoy the pretty world, so they may not be as attracted to game.
don't get me wrong, I do love the game and I'm playing it a lot every day, but as a developer, we know it's not hard to have a good optimized game, we can check the files that they didn't modify many of the default "settings" so we can see there is additional work that could've been put into it

This game is totally playable on phone! You can connect a controller or get a backbone controller for under $100, totally worth it.
I know all of that - I just wanted to make a point for people who don't play games already and want to try and see before spending any money on upgrades. with a budget pc/phone, the nikki world isn't as attractive (and budget phone vary a lot depending on the country)
Gather, groom, fish as you come across things while exploring. You should have most of what you need to craft Wishful Aurosa when you unlock all the pieces on the skill tree.

And they gave us styling bonuses in the Heart of Infinity that may or may not affect the score. I did it without them.

I really love the game, i already reached the end game content 😭 and i'll tell you that this game is F2P friendly, even i am an F2P myself and i am able to save 100+ wishes (after clearing the newest update contents) since the last time i completed the fairy outfit (140 wishes) and i did roll on the frog outfit (i forgot, i think i spent around 50-60 wishes). So that is how much i have spent and i still have saving 100+ wishes, i would say that is pretty good. I'll be wishing on the next update.
i have around 140 limited pulls saved up now just from playing the game....waiting for an outfit i feel like i truly love to pull. honestly i've been having the most fun trying to style the random sketches around miraland :3

What makes me so emotional is that when I grew up I was steered away from 'girl games' because they weren't considered to be 'real games' I've had a lot of internal stuff because of it and now, to see it done with such love and without dumbing anything down... it just feels so wonderful.
Also, as one of the fabled spreadsheet girlies of genshin... I love how easy crafting is. So much so that I'm actually doing more of a latitudinal playthrough. I'm not in a rush to get to either miracle outfit and I'm finding so many pieces of clothing in the world. And at a far less of a cost than the remarkable chests in genshin.
I definitely think that the game needed more time in the oven, so to speak (some early cutscenes that were missing poses/animations in the beta were/are still missing them when I got to them again), but I'm glad they're being swift with implementing optimizations and suggestions. I tend to play games for the story more than anything, so I _did_ end up speeding my way through all the story content, but I was able to do so relatively quickly without spending. That gives me some confidence that the game will be free-to-play friendly for a good while, gameplay-wise (sure it's a different story if you're a collector and/or prone to fomo, but I don't use collectibles as points against something being f2p). a 3-star outfit was good enough to get the sovereign of sexy medal. it needed to be maxed out, but that's plenty doable for free over the course of a few days. I didn't have to regret not choosing different outfits on the banner, or go farm dews.
I'm certainly glad they don't seem to be locking _lore_ behind the gacha, unlike a certain other infold game...
Gotta say imo, worst part of nikki is how grindy the game is, when i was unlocking Wishful Aurosa outfit, fighting the bosses to get the items u needed was the WORST time i had in this game, and i dont even wanna talk about what we have to do for second miracle outfit, im gonna do it for sure bc i Love the game sm, but girl. Thats so much grind.
i really love the game too! i think a silly thing i've found is that when i go into caves it'll be really dark for the first few steps and suddenly i'll be flashbanged as they adjust the lighting (it's happened more than once) but i find the game really fun! they definitely should teach nikki how to swim at some point though

I agree with you about the graphic quality, but, they make the choice to make it payable on mobile. Therfore, they have to find a solution for this problem. I can't complain because I just got a new phone. But I don't see myself buying another new phone that's worth a month of salary in a year or two just to play new games. Make it good or don't make it. A lot of games aren't available on mobile and it's okay 🙏
On the Permanant Resonance, I did crystal poems since I like the original color scheme. I just got the choice to get a recolor and I like the recolor of the pink outfit more, so I don't know if I should evolve crystal poems rn. The next time I get a chance to evolve will be before I am able to get the whole pink outfit.
There is no need to evolve right now if you aren't sure, you can just wait until you have everything for the pink outfit and evolve it then! The materials you already have won't disappear so you can just hold into them for now.

This is the girly game of my dreams! I love it and I don't mind that some things are daily, I can squeeze some time and get that done but not stressed about not doing it either. It's truly cozy.
I'm usually very mindful of my spending and I know I will probably spend a bit on it only if a dress is truly stunning. I had a lot of diamonds and I'm only one item short of the current 5 star one without spending any real money, so it's possible if you're mindful with your pulls
I did almost same decision as you, but quit Genshin to play only WuWa and Nikki. The only thing I find weird that all 5* outfits, esp limited ones, are not my cup of tea, now I wonder if all the 5* gonna be full gowns like that. So far I find 4* much more versatile and appealing, but it's not a complain because this is styling game and we all have different tastes in clothes. I'm just hoarding wishes in hope for something that'll be totally my style.
Yeah someone that doesn't like gown like me. Not that I hate it, it just all 5 star so far are gown outfit. I hope they put more varieties in long pants style. I don't like how most of them are like slim fit pants

For the use on phone, I’ve been using it on an iphone 10 and my pc, and even tho the quality on pc is way better, but the quality on my phone is not actually that bad, also I’m glad I started playing it infinity nikki cause it feels like a breath of fresh air between my other games
I'm really enjoying this game too, close ups on the fabric types left me in awe, my only con is some some double jumps are too hard for me.
It also feels like an old time rpg that I grew up playing, they are a lot of sweet little quests scattered throughout, and the areas and npcs and dialogue are unique to their areas.
I can't wait for the new areas to unlock ❤
started the game 3 days before the end of the frog banner (I manage to get it entirely), saw many pictures with the elf earrings, expect it to be in the "fairy woods" but I just learn in this video it was from the previous banner...
I love the game and i especially enjoyed the challenges, the mini games and the domains.
It's my first time playing a dress up game and i didn't think i will enjoy this part of the game a lot but i create a new outfit at least 5 times a day
the game was very fun and i am enjoying my time on the game but after a while now i have encountered some things that i think could make my time easier.
* First issue i encountered was the cutscene that appears everytime you brush animals, it felt highly unnecessary But this recent update they made it so you can skip it way faster and easily now.
* This is something i wanted for myself since gacha games have drilled the word Grind into me. the vital energy; 3 years Ago there was a event in genshin when fishing was first introduced
i spend hours and hours in one spot fishing to get that one achievement for fishing 8000 times or something like that and the event helped contribute to the achievement. For nikki i was hoping for a similar event to unlock for paths into the heart of infinity because there is no way they expect you to fish,brush,collect,fight mobs 5000 Times with the daily limit being only 200 and 100. The realm of nourishment does help you out with issue but its honestly not that effective either because now i have to use my vital energy to unlock the ability's so i can start collecting Essense for outfits. What felt even more unfair is that on top on using my vital energy for nourishment i also need that for bloudy mats or else i can't craft the pieces.
Personally I'm only worried about the rerun problem and hope they do something to remedy that because in my opinion it's a very glaring problem in Shining Nikki. Also hopefully they add a toggle to not make Momo disappear during photo taking and my absolute dream feature would be that they let us customise the ability outfits but let's say you had to have either an x amount of the original outfit pieces or certain pieces on. It's surprising there's no guild feature because they exist both in Love and Shining Nikki. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from Infinity Nikki (probably because of the open world gacha game burn out) even though I'm a Love and Shining Nikki enthusiast but the game has absolutely blown me out of the water and I'm really excited to experience how it develops.
I didn't realize the graphics specs needed for this game on pc until my game kept crashing after 5-10 mins of gameplay, so now I play mobile. I'm just happy I can experience the coziness of the game at all!

About the mobile optimization, I personally believe theyre doing an amazing job. Though my game is still pretty glitchy (mainly the texturing), it still runs nice and smooth, it's incredible that a game of this caliber can even run on phones. So i'm incredibly thankfull for the team for working so hard trying to fix all issues to make the experience as enjoyable as possible, and i'll just be patient waiting for them to fix the bugs i'm having. Really enjoying the game so far ^^
Thanks for this review! Totally agree about there being something healing about the game; it's so sweet, cozy, and thoughtful. It takes these girly aspects that I enjoy playing seriously but without cynicism or too much intensity. It has a starting place for more representation with the different skin tones. Plus, it allows for players to demonstrate their creativity and build community. I'm loving it so far. 🥰
Only thing I need is more outfit slots and for it to not be so difficult to finish the factions I need to make the first miracle outfit but I haven’t been able to beat the factions that need cool or fresh outfits since I can’t seem to get good pieces for them lol

I'm not a girl anymore but I appreciate so much about this game and I really believe anyone can enjoy it if they like this kind of chill open world game. It has a lot to offer. I like to compare it to Pokemon in play style due to all the collecting and battles, but it also reminds me a lot of BoTW and Mario and FFXIV, plus being really cute and nostalgic.

infinity nikki is the only game i have genuanlly played since genshin. I've been playing genshin for years, and kept trying to play new games, and nikki is the only one i have kept more than two weeks since picking it up. (i play mobile cause i am to broke to get a pc)-- edit: it looks very pretty on my phone :3

I love the fact that I get myself lost in the open world in this game. One minute, I’m on task farming materials for outfits, and then the next thing I’m taking pictures and just admiring Nikki and the scenery around her. It’s just so beautiful 🥹
I'm so happy it's on mobile as a switch/PS4/ old pc player. Although I played Nikki so much I expanded my phone's battery 😂😅 but it's not meant to happen so I got a newphone under warranty 😅😅😅

Been loving the infinity nikki streams, but will there be any more kingdom hearts streams soon? You’re a few worlds away from finishing KH2, and the next few games are really good and explain some of the more confusing story bits.
YES I literally woke up thinking about it haha, this next week I’ll dedicate at least 5-6 stream hours to kh, then the following week I’ll catch up on all hyv stuff, then I’ll go back on Kh til we finish it
It's relatively f2p friendly, but if you're the type of person who buys a skin in the first week of playing a f2p game then it's probably best to steer away.

@arimusai You don't need to pay to complete the game. We have a lot of f2p outfits as well in general. Of course for the 5 star outfits you're generally going to have to pay
