Nasty work in front of Igor the way they gave up the first 2 Utah goals but I'm glad the team is showing some heart and pushback lately. 2 points is 2 points and it's a good streak lately for NYR.
Was at the game and I gotta say, this one took the wind out of my sails. I'm not sure why this is happening recently, but we seem to just deflate more and more as the game goes on. We used to be a team that was scary in the third period with the ability to make comebacks. Now we look tired with cement blocks on our feet so that other teams can just skate circles around us and score a man down. I want to be supportive as a fan but it's hard when your team can't seem to get wins at home but are able to pretty consistently on the road. Maybe it's the added pressure to perform in front of your fans I'm not sure, but something has to change in the gameplay at home to pull off more wins. Good game to the Rangers, your fans showed up and your team played hard in the third period.
I don't envy that Utah squad out on the ice, its a tough situation relocating and feeling like a brand-new team without actually being one. New fans more expectations and these can be pivotal games to building a fan base and all that. that pressure can't be easy. But as a fan it's hard to be one when results aren't there and it's a fresh franchise. I'm hoping next year with hopefully an actual name and identity and better stadium layout, this team can foster the fan base. Teamwise, that team is a few pieces away from being up there.
@ Oh don’t get me wrong, I totally understand that their job is not easy especially with the relocation. If you look at any of my other comments on our highlights you’ll see I’m an adamant supporter and try to stay positive but I think this loss kind of broke the camels back for me. I think it might’ve been because I was the only one in my entire section going hard with cheering while being surrounded by rangers fans. I’ve also been to 9 games and we’ve only won 3 of those. I’ll always support the team but had to do a bit of venting haha. Totally agree tho, this team will be very dangerous in the next few years!
One thing is always true with NYR. No matter where they play in the USA, new franchise or not, they always have from a few thousand to nearly half of the arena with Ranger fans. And MSG is usually sold out every game, despite the brutal ticket prices. Must be special playing for a team that has such a big fanbase wherever they play. Glad to see they are coming out of the worst of the funk. Utah; seems like an awesome sports city with great fans. Everyone now just wants an Epic name for the team. Utah Yetis ftw.
@@ShepherdAnimations Sorry if my comment came off as "you're a bad fan" or anything! I didn't mean it like that at all. Im a NY sports fans and am accustomed to supporting bad teams haha. But yea it's awesome to see how excited fans are for this team, they're tough as nails and there will be growing pains and I hope folks stick with em. As for rangers fans taking up your seats, yea we travel, guarantee you those tickets and their hotel cost less than MSG tickets. I will never deny that there are tons of us who are obnoxious. But yea, sorry if my comment came across as attacking you as a bad fan, not my intention at all! That feeling of wanting to be proud of your team, but they're just not performing hurts, especially when you're following them all year and going to the games. If Utah was in the east, they're in heavy contention for a wild card spot, the west is brutal.
@@ThothGrowth you’re totally good! Your comment didn’t really feel like an attack or anything don’t worry. I’m just not used to being more critical of my team haha. I appreciate the words of solidarity for another sports fan though. I can’t imagine how expensive your tickets must be and it really is a shame for those big fans who don’t have the money to go see the Rangers live. Splurging that much and then having your team lose is true pain. Don’t worry about your fans though, they were loud but they were respectful (at least near me). Ya the West is pretty stacked this year so the chances of us making the playoffs seems very slim now but hopefully in the next couple of years we’ll be in the running! Best of luck to you and to your teams!
I have to say, the production and angles with different cameras on that feed was top notch, dont know why more team affiliate stations dont do that to make the viewing more unique for the fans.
Очень рада за Рейнджерс.....вперед копы......поздравляю Панарина с дублем, а Шестеркина с отличными сейвами......вынесите Тампу и займите ее место на пути в плей-офф!
@@pieking4 No he hasnt. The team has in Nov and Dec but since he returned from injury and in 2025, he nor really the team has been struggling. Its ok if you arent very up to date, clearly not as much as the announcers but hes had like a 1.25 GA in the month of Jan..... Id say thats hes pretty hot rn against good teams too.
@John333Scout yeah I watch the games, not the numbers. he blew the game against Colorado and he's letting in goals he shouldn't be at least every other game. he's not playing anywhere near up to his capabilities, plain and simple.
Utah is never going anywhere with Vejmelka. No mental confidence. I've never seen a pro let in easy goals like he does. He's cooked as the kids say. Him and Husso for the Red Wings

ever since 2025 started, the rangers have been looking way better

Kreider showing everyone why he is just a Natural Born Legend.
Sergachev had a bad day too. 2 goals went to him.
Nick Bjugstad is a shadow of himself .

calling kreider one of the most explosive guys in the league should cost the commentator his job
Lots can still happen and i dont want to jinx it, but damn that felt good!
LGRANGERS ✌️
describing Igor as "one of the hottest goaltenders in the NHL" is wild
Why?
@@John333Scout because he's very much struggling

Игорь потихоньку начинает подтаскивать
Против своих он бессилен,увы...Зиба как чудил,так и продолжает чудить перед воротами,просто чудачество перед своими оканчивается плохо.
not the best day in life of Vejmelka
They just can't get rid of the "BLOWHARD" commentators , They must service anyone who wants one after the games !
Is there something wrong with NHL highlights in 1080p?
