I really have to agree with you. I loved seeing the scene with Melissa’s family and her cousin’s wedding. Maybe I’m boring but I just loved seeing a happy, wholesome family moment for once. And I love how her family has really embraced Joe. It’s a nice change from all the hate, lies and drama.
Yet, she bashed Danielle for wanting to be compensated for her time at the fundraiser yet she wanted Bill's business to be advertised despite not paying anything for advertising but her excuse was she showed up aka compensated for your time.

Gia has been a cast member for years and she gets paid so if other people want to talk about her, that’s their right. And Teresa has always made darn sure Gia is in the middle of all the drama. Melissa in the other hand, has protected her daughter Antonia from any involvement and it’s clear she doesn’t think Gia should have ever been involved. Having said that, I do remember Melissa telling Jackie that she shouldn’t have used Gia’s name for that allegory, however Jackie never actually accused Gia of anything.
Another reason Melissa's family was not highlighted is the imbalance; Melissa's sister don't like Theresa either; putting them all together would have been a blood bath. Safer now, since Melissa & Theresa,rarely fil together.
Melissa doesn't want Gia to have a paycheck on the show. Melissa was the same age as Gia when she got married. She should be supportive of Gia being a co-worker and getting paid, so she can afford Law School or whatever future endeavors. I think Melissa is worried, because viewers won't believe Teresa, but they would absolutely believe what Gia says about Melissa and Joe.

I think she she stated she was sloppy about how she organized it and was tacky in regards to paying herself a fee and being rude to the hair stylist. That’s far from stealing. It’s just tacky. That’s not turning anyone into a monster. Also Gia spoke for 5 seconds. These ladies infuriated me when they said she can’t talk to mention Johns name at all. You may not speak 🗣️ Lame. Much younger than Gia was when Jackie used her as an example of starting rumors. So, regardless of whether he is guilty and Gia is not, Teresa trying to make an issue of something he did as a minor and using that to accuse him of being the biggest drug dealer is ridiculous.

I don’t doubt rumors go around but Laura clearly said on the phone that Margaret didn’t see anything. Someone told Margaret that someone they both knew had seen Melissa in the back of a car. It’s like a game of telephone, however, we never learned about this rumor from Margaret. We heard it from Laura, Jen and Teresa who HATE Margaret and who freely admit want to “take her down”. They chose to bring it to OUR lives with zero evidence, no video or pictures so for all we know they just made the whole thing up for a storyline. What I do know is that for all effect and purposes, THEY are the source of the rumor.
The Manzo kids were all in their 20s when we first met them. Gia has been in the middle of this mess since she was very young. We watched her grow in front of our eyes and it is weird af to see her getting involved in the adults’ business as if she was another housewife. It is completely unnecessary. I don’t blame her though, I blame her parents and producers who never protected Gia and her sisters from all the TV and family drama.
I just don’t like how producers have puppets and create a narrative also. I just want the truth. If they continue to allow Marge who started all the digging to continue I’m not going to watch anymore.

It wasn’t an analogy. He was simply pointing out that Teresa is talking about something that he did when he was a 17 year old. Much younger than Gia was when Jackie used her as an example of starting rumors. So, regardless of whether he is guilty and Gia is not, Teresa trying to make an issue of something he did as a minor and using that to accuse him of being the biggest drug dealer is ridiculous.

Margaret’s husband actually outed Marg last season. Go back and look at that scene the boys got together. Margaret is protected by production. That’s why Laura wasn’t allowed to come on.

I don’t doubt rumors go around but Laura clearly said on the phone that Margaret didn’t see anything. Someone told Margaret that someone they both knew had seen Melissa in the back of a car. It’s like a game of telephone, however, we never learned about this rumor from Margaret. We heard it from Laura, Jen and Teresa who HATE Margaret and who freely admit want to “take her down”. They chose to bring it to OUR lives with zero evidence, no video or pictures so for all we know they just made the whole thing up for a storyline. What I do know is that for all effect and purposes, THEY are the source of the rumor.

Like someone else said…..Melissa commended the Manzo kids for getting involved and defending Caroline….now she wanna know why a kid (Gia) is involved.
The Manzo kids were all in their 20s when we first met them. Gia has been in the middle of this mess since she was very young. We watched her grow in front of our eyes and it is weird af to see her getting involved in the adults’ business as if she was another housewife. It is completely unnecessary. I don’t blame her though, I blame her parents and producers who never protected Gia and her sisters from all the TV and family drama.
Vicki’s daughter, the manzos all get involved, why can’t Gia? Does Melissa feel threatened by her niece?
