Im a Birmingham fan, yes we have money yes we have the stadium but this league won't be as easy as some people think, we are buying good players but it takes time to gel as a team, we should be there or there abouts at end of season though
Agree with you there.
Also depends how Chris davies gets on, never been a manager and wants to play a completely different style. We all know how's that's went for us when we've tried to play attractive football
@@dominicsouthan4492the only difference is the dead wood is gone
We’re starting to get players in .. bit slow but there coming ..17:000 season tickets sold so far . Not going to be easy but think we might be ok hopefully …
You lot were acting the biggen like you were going to sell out your stadium , yet you only have sold 2,000 more season tickets than Huddersfield . Embarrassing
@@JGarner.2004
So that's 2000 more season tickets than Huddersfield, and not less?
Right, so that's embarrassing, how, exactly.
And good for Huddersfield, well done them.
What is your point?
@pencilpauli9442 I think the point he's making is, Birmingham is the second biggest city in the country, Huddersfield is a small town in comparison, 17k season tickets sold isn't that impressive for the catchment area.
@@adamcottrell6454
The point is that Blues have already sold the highest number of season tickets in the last 10 years
That's 10 years of been fucked around by shit owners, and after an abysmal 2023/4 season.
The point is that there is already an increase of 46% from last year despite relegation.
What goes on at other clubs is totally irrelevant to what's going on at St Andrews.
@marc.the.red1987
Why did Wednesday fans also say, " Not going to be easy but think we might be ok hopefully …"
Why is that a bad thing?
Flip reverse that, we are all Wrexham’s cup final.
We’ve played some fairly sizeable clubs in this league the last few years, go back even further to when Forest, Leeds & Leicester were in it.
Playing a Welsh/American outfit that have spent 15 of the last 17 years in the National League ain’t no cup final.
Well thats a wrong attitude. The team isnt the same as the one in NL. They got good players, signed young talents like Brunt, Sevan, Dobson, Okonkwo. Really solid midfield and goal keeping dep., the defense is alright. Poor strikers tho, mulls injured, palmer and mariott will start idk how they both are going to perform. Fletcher is too old and will be used for last 20min, dalby/bickerstaff might be loaned off.
I don't see Wrexham as everyone's cup final. With all respect, they're not big enough for that. Yes, there'll be a lot of focus on them, and they're definitely a black horse for the play-offs (I don't see them as a contender for automatic promotion). The team to beat will be Birmingham City, who are also my tip to win the league, with Rotherham coming a close second.
I'm not sure whether it's an unpopular opinion or not, but I think that Bolton will miss out on promotion again. Agree that Barnsley could find themselves outside the top 6 at the end of the season. Biggest drop-off will probably be Stevenage yes.
I agree with you, but with the ownership, and the way there fans are, there will be a want to win against them even more so, like when Birmingham and Huddersfield come to town
Posh, Bolton and Barnsley will be focused on seeing out the threat posed by the newcomers to the league, as they are already more deserving of securing promotion this season.
We were in non league and to some extent league 2 but as others have said there are some massive clubs in this league and we aren't the big boys anymore. Take 9th-13th this season quite happily. A nice bit of consolidation
I would say birmingham biggest draw by non.they are favourites excellant away following ..
Posh supporter here - of the relegated and promoted clubs, I think only Rotherham will be promoted, as they will have less adapting to League One to do. With regard to Wrexham, it will be a case of wait and see. Posh’s first home game is Huddersfield and the second is Wrexham. We have lost Ronnie Edwards to Southampton and Josh Knight to Hannover 96. We will also be losing Harrison Burrows to a Championship side. We have spent much on replacements - players from the lower leagues. However, they are young and promising, as was our team last season. We’re relying on Darren Ferguson to produce another side that will challenge for promotion. Third time lucky? I hope so. How we do in those first two home games, should give us some indicator as to how we will do this coming season. Whatever happens, Posh produce entertaining football. That is all that matters as far as I am concerned - no more play-off disappointments, though, please.
Birmingham are way ahead and it really is what team comes second 👍
Everyone’s cup final is *not* Wrexham; you should know better than to be taken in by all the Hollywood tinsel.
It has been for the teams in the leagues they’ve been in recently. A lot of big games in League One this year
@@CodsVlogs
Wrexham finished second to Stockport County who were Champions in two of the last three seasons making County the ‘cup final’; only the one in-between when Notts ran them close in the NL could they be described as the biggest game for teams like Dorking, Maidenhead and Solihull.
Some people seem to think that Wrexham will end up higher in the league than teams like Posh, Bolton and Barnsley, who have ended up in the play-offs in the past two seasons. Dream on.
@@rafd3593 the first 10 games will paint the true picture
@@ytcontent11
Of the promoted teams, StockportCounty and Wrexham will do very well and both will continue their upward trajectory to the last ten and three seasons respectively; Mansfield will be ok, but Crawley are likely to return straight back to League 2 unless something changes big-time in the next few weeks.
I'm quite excited by our squad next season, (leyton orient) we look like we've done some cracking business
Let’s see what happens
It is what team comes second to Birmingham 🤔
I'm a blues fan, I hope so!
Sunderland, Bolton Derby.....all said similar when they dropped down
Barnsley got to the playoffs without pulling up trees last season. Weak at the back and Cole downed tools mid season, he hasn’t got another club yet. We haven’t released anyone that the fans wanted to keep and have added experience in Marc Roberts and Hourihane. We probably need a 3 or 4 new signings and we’re ready to go again, hopefully being a bit more pleasing on the eye and less ‘tippy tappy’
Good luck to the Tykes!
Hope you get promoted with Birmingham
As a Brummie living in Barnsley, I'd love that!
KRO!
@@pencilpauli9442 hearing were in for a left back from you mate? Any good?
Yeah agree. Still need a few in imo
I’m pretty sure Alfie May is not a Pacific player, he comes from Doncaster. He’s probably gonna get the best service of his career, think it’s gonna be his best return ever.
I recon burton will be a one to watch next season we've taken some risks and a different approach to our signings this season it really could go either way come the end of the season
Let’s see!
Only guy I listen to when it comes to league one .glad to be 150th like
Thank you very much
For me I may be biased as I am a Wycombe fan but I think are recruitment has been amazing, we have got plenty of great free players
I agree
Love your content mate
Appreciate it very much mate!
Here's a few: Bolton miss out and Evatt gets sacked. Rotherham win the league. Wrexham lose as many as they win. Charlton win the playoffs. Oh, btw Ben, Barnsley aren't the quintessential L1 playoff team, they actually hold the record for most appearances in the second tier..
Wow! Some big calls!
@@CodsVlogs And Cods promoted from L2. But I guess that's for another video.
It’s going to be tough to predict where Burton Albion will finish 🟡⚫️
Think midtable atm.
Hello Lads & ladies welcome back for a video on the channel

@@Mike-ol7gt exactly
scrap Doncaster, move them all up, Crawley last
Barnsley will finish 9th-12th
Can see that!
Interesting to hear your thoughts. For what its worth, reckon Mansfield will be dark horses (especially at home) and Blackpool will implode as ownership issues come to the fore. Can't see past Rotherham for the title.
Cheers Tony!
What ownership issues? Are you referring to his court case in Hong Kong?
❤ birmingham city is the best in this league go up yes up the royal blues win yes win 😅😅happy times for us 😅😅 ❤ good bye league one 💙 👍 😅 ..
Not as easy as you think - look at the history of Derby, Ipswich, Pompey, Reading, Wigan, Etc.
