    Nelson is just a monster... he's improved his game substantially, technique looks much cleaner.. rhythm has always been one of the best, incredible hits. Great dancer.

    Nelson is simply on a different level then Creesto. He is good has great energy and flexibility. Id tell him what my OG's have told me and that is to slow down especially in the beginning. He came out to hype and was slightly off beat IMHOP. If he starts out slower and builds to his good energy and then finish strong it will show much better. Nelson did cruise in rounds 2 and 3 but that is to be expected in such a long battle. All you need to do is watch the 1st and 4 rounds and see who danced to All the different layers of the beat. Nelson freaked it he danced to the claps and melodies in the background. A good popper will dictate to the crowd what parts of the song to listen to through their dance. Such musicality only comes with time, dedication and a love for all music especially popping music. Nelson does not have to watch his competitor dance. That is not productive and can and will throw you off your game. You need to take that time to listen to the music so that you can hit the double clap and dance to the instruments in the background. You can't go out there and guess will the 2nd clap come around again on the 8 count you have to know hit it and show it to the judges and crowd

      zougguari helias Toi t'as rien compris mon grand !

    A real battles during contests happen rarely. Most of them are the "exchanges" of skills so I wouldn't require from nobody to really "battle" because if you don't feel it, you can only make stupid things and act aggresive, while being relaxed and controlling the emotions is always better than losing the grip over the whole situation. If you don't feel you want to battle, why you should act like you want to during a contest? It's just a contest, not a real battle, sometimes people that know each other very well battle, and why should they act in a nasty way if they like each other?
    So ... Nelson had his own tactic provoking and not watching Creesto dance. Creesto could come to Nelson and make him watch, he didn't want to and I'm not surprised because sometimes when you attack your opponent during your set you can lose the focus and do alot of sloppy things. So instead he decided to continue anyway, and he did great.
    If you watch Nelson battles you can see that he likes to provoke his opponents. And love it or hate it, that's the way he is.

    Wait, is it wrong or sth? because in the info they wrote: "JUDGES: KEI (JP), NELSON(FR), MONSTAPOP(CA)". Then why Creesto vs Nelson in the final????? This is not a judge battle, right? Because if it's a judge battle, they have wrote it. But they wrote this is a "final popping". Why the "judge" is a competitor? I don't understand!!!

    • @his1dudeness
      @his1dudeness 9 років тому +2

      This battle has slightly different rules: The pre-selection is decided by the judges for the top 12. Then the top 12 battle for top 6, who then battle for top 3. The top 3 dancers then choose 1 of the 3 judges they want to battle. At this point, the judges become dancers and the winner is decided by the dancer. He/She can either give the win to their opponent or the crowd decides. This promotes honesty, honor and humility within the competitors. I actually prefer these rules because it eliminates the debates about judging typically seen with traditional battles.

    dance is not gymnastic....that's why nelson win, in this battle for example, try to watch the video and choose another song in background with the same bpm, you will see that any kind of music you play, creesto will be as good as in the original, not the same for nelson...why? because he is playing deep with the original song..try to understand it :) and, just for knowledge: popping is not "make your trick", but dancing with the pop :)

      So you mean animation, waves, boogaloo and bopping are not welcome in popping? oh yeah that's a popping contest tho. "pop" is the only thing that matters for you haha

    Its a battle. Where in the contract does it say that a dancer much watch their competition? People drool over Salah but he does the same in every battle and mocks them while calling them a baby. If it is not your turn you sit and wait while feeling and listening to the music it gives you a competitive edge IMHOP. Creesto for a lot of the battle was off beat. Nelson mailed it in on the 2nd and 3rd round. He went hard on the first and last. They have different styles but Nelson when going in dances to more levels of the music than Creesto but Creesto exerts more energy and in much more flexible especially in his shoulders and elbows. Creesto would be much better if he slowed down in the beginig and if he would dance to different layers of the music. It shows when one dancer is on another level then his completion and it did in this battle. Nelson cruised in the middle and then turned it back on at the end. Hate it or love it but it is the truth.

    Cresto went out too hype and fast was a bit off beat. but was coo. Nelson was slower not what i would say the good he went out too cocky he was just pacing and not watching his battle mate and really its a lack of respect as well. also Nelson started dancing in the middle of when Cresto was and thats also more disrespect. Nelson was smoother thats it. Cresto I would say won. who would you have more fun dancing with?

  • @StudioNoah
    @StudioNoah 9 років тому +1

    Both great technique. My vote goes to Creesto on technique but what happened with the battle? It was more of a demonstration instead of a battle. And Nelson didn't give the respect he should when Creesto was dancing. Nelson was feeling the music better though.
    Watch the Hoan vs Salah video on my channel to see what I mean with Battle. Man vs Man. Not a demonstration for the audience.

      Nelson can be disrespectful to other dancers, but without a doubt he's good. and by the way the salah and hoan battle was amazing!!!!

    • @Jstroman221
      @Jstroman221 9 років тому

      cran08rb again it is a battle. It dose not serve you to observe what your opponent does while you miss parts of the song. Watching another dancer is okay if you know the song inside and out and every note. Dancing is also a very personal for of expression it takes a big set to throw yourself out there in front of a major crowd and you opponent does an amazing move. Then you are stuck and have lost the battle before it began. Again these are battle tactics and Nelson has more years than his opponent. It's about winning tactics not points for participation only one person take wins each battle and it is cut throat.
