I know some of you have been expecting the Kshatriya unboxing but I will need a couple weeks to decipher the instructions and build the kit, wish me luck!
There are definitely better ones, I think someone new would struggle with the stability. Try a detail up kit as your first resin as you won't have to deal with that as much!
Another great video Jason. Love how you present these.. it makes me want to buy the kits you share 👀. Can't wait to see you paint this and the Kshatriya! That thing is a real monster
Z'Gok is one of my favorite gundams and this kit is very tempting. Especially considering how minor the issues were. When it comes to resin kits pinning is pretty much expected. What I really wish is SH Studios made stl versions of their kits and then sold the plastic parts separately. But oh well
Love the ZGOK (and the Kshatriya 😜). I’ll be following closely as you build both. -Got both in my backlog and I would love to build at least one of them this year 🤙
@@JLGunplaUK I spent way too long scrolling on TaoBao I think. 😅 Much better price for most if not all the resin kits compared with US retailers, especially for the large scale ones. Have to grab them when they are still available 😝
@@JLGunplaUK An unfortunate side effect of a growing market. At least I'm under the impression resin kits are taking off. When companies start out, they go out of their way to provide value, and then start to reel in that fishing rod. I've been looking around stock piling resin kits that appeal to me.

I’ve never built a resin kit before but lots of gunpla. Do you think this would be a good first resin kit or is there a better pic for my first one?

@@brig.badger2896 Yujiao Land’s Zaku conversion kit is a great beginner friendly option.
@@yw9686 Yeah I was considering that one actually. or a MG RX78 origin one since I already own that kit.
I know your opinion on these guys, but damn, their package artist did work with those droplets.
beautiful !! cant wait to see the kit done part by part !!!
thanks for the overview on this - been very tempted to get this over the 1/100 version.
Look forward to seeing your finished version!

really nice bro! makes me want to get back to building!
Right on! Are you going to start painting it? Looks like a fairly fast kit to paint.
Will be a while as I have other kits lined up!

The problem with that is people will sell their "own" SH studio resin kits
@@JLGunplaUK Hmmmm that's true
@@JLGunplaUK so would you recommend the zgok or the quebeley if you could only get one?
Qubeley but the wings are very complicated

That's some juicy backlog

Is that some pink floyd? (jk, it almost sounds like it). SH Studio's stand alone frames are pretty expensive too.
Yes but their first SH studio and GMD PG kit - gouf flight type had 2 runners too but it was half the price 🥹

I am making a 1:60 MSM-04, modeled and enlarged according to the MG model and then 3D printed, will you want one?
Sounds interesting, if you want to send me one to review!
Just bought one on gundamit. With their free shipping it was basically the same as trying to buy it straight from them and paying for shipping.
What's the retail price because on gundamit its $370
If you can order directly it's about $300
👍👍
Guess this is a kit I can put a hard pass on it .. but they are the only one that have 1:60 zgok for now
Not interested at all but parts may be good from SH, however, they are getting greedy the price start to not justify the kit.
Yes they know their kits will sell well
