- This interview was recorded prior to the apparent assassination attempt against Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
Olivia Nuzzi, Washington correspondent for New York Magazine, joins Jamie to discuss her recent profile of Donald Trump, “I Examined Donald Trump's Ear - and His Soul.”
The Agenda:
-Trump after the July 13 assassination attempt
-Behind the iconic photo
-How does Trump view himself?
-Trump’s childhood home
-Trump’s presidential portrait
-Nuzzi’s profile of Joe Biden
-“Humanizing” Donald Trump
-Would Nuzzi profile anyone?
This aged well
It certainly did. Trump's still Trump. Do you think Nuzzi's inappropriate relationship with RFK Jr. has anything to do with that?
Yikes…
Boy, that was an awkwardly timed interview Jamie. Oh the questions you could have asked if it had been a week later!
Trump doesn't dwell on the past? Are you kidding me? That's all he talks about.....
She means that trump has a superficial way of viewing the past. He was there, but he wasn't present if it wasn't happening for him. When talks about the past it's not a reflection of how others participated. It's about how it bothered him or didn't serve him.
What soul? He is 100% ego. A malignant narcissist, more machine than man.
Based on the title of this video, I expected it to be no more than 10 seconds long, tops.
You say hes not deep, that his whole life is on the surface,; and yet you opined that there was something deceitful in his answer about the fist pump, and refuse to take his deeds as President at face value.
Just ponder that for a moment...
Interesting insight. Will i read her piece? Probably not.
Why did you add everything after that first sentence? ...Just curious...
@@larissabrewington9065 interesting enough to listen on a podcast but not to read the whole thing.
@@bmgmusa07 hm... Ok.
I’ve kept it bookmarked for weekend reading but ultimately decided not worth my time. On top of Nuzzi now being embroiled in her own ethical (and moral) scandals, decided the piece is not worth my time
@@bmgmusa07actually, yes. You get the gist of the article without wasting more time lol
Not a good look
Fascinating interview.
I just realized... she reminds me of Meryl Streep...
mashup of Meryl Streep and Drew Barrymore
@@878dynamis Yes. Her too a little bit.
