even moreso. in the scriptures, specifically in James 3:1, it says teachers are judged more strictly than others. teachers actions have influence over others, and can lead many astray by false teachings.
James 3:1 - "Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly"
Pray for Joel, he needs to accept Jesus as his God and Savior.
May God open Joel Osteen's eyes to see the false teachings he's giving out to his hearers.He is misleading them but in a true christian view, this is bad, may God help him to realise his sins and go to God for forgiveness before it is too late.

People have to read the Holy Bible KJV to know their savior Jesus Christ personally! We have to know what is required of us to please God to make it into heaven and to be spared from the lake of fire, hell!! Don’t rely on a preacher or teacher to tell you about the word of God and the Holy Bible. That is what is what has been wrong in the churches for over 50-60 years, false teachers and pastors. Denying the power of the Holy Ghost and healing power of God and the the lack of the Holy Spirit moving in the services! Churches acting like social clubs and buffets. Wake up before it is too late folks, seek the face of God in His word Jesus is really coming back soon and it will be too late to get right with him when the Eastern sky splits open and He appears with 10,000 angels to seek vengeance on those that rejected him when they had a chance. In Acts of the Apostles after Jesus ascended into the clouds after dying on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day by the power of the Holy Ghost and He showed himself to over 500 people and the disciples and Mary He said to go into all the earth and preach the gospel, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, heal the sick and cast out devils. The disciples were left alone without Jesus and were afraid that the ones that crucified Jesus would come and arrest them so they were waiting together on the day of Pentecost where they were told by Jesus to wait on something that was to come upon them. They were waiting and all of a sudden a mighty rushing wind blew in and filled the whole house. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost with fire and all spoke in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Then Peter stepped up and started preaching with great power and authority after the Holy Ghost came upon him. Jesus wants to give His people the same gift from him called the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tongues to give you more power in these last days with boldness and able to speak to God in heavenly language that only God can understand to communicate to our Father God in heaven. Just ask Jesus for the Holy Ghost and praise and thank Jesus for it and you will receive it! All glory to God! It’s crazy how the prosperity preachers use the scripture about abundant life for financial gain. My abundant life came when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, He healed me of depression and so many other mental issues I was going through. That healing helped me to live a life of peace and was able to be used by God in ministry in powerful ways! That is what I call abundant life through Christ Jesus!

Taking over your life is a service issue nothing to do with salvation at all.
Salvation is absolutely free and not conditional upon service to God.
Jonah 3: 10, " And God saw their *works* that they turned from their wicked way and God repented of the evil that He would do unto them and He did it not."
*Repentance of sins is works.*
Furthermore; sin is transgression of the law: therefore, repentance of sins is *law keeping* and is certainly a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation.
If repentance *of sins* helps save you in any way then it had better be perfect repentance.
God's standard is absolute perfection not your best efforts.
Trying doesn't count.
Not even one sin is allowed to be in Heaven.
James 2: 10, " For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."
Oops, so much for helping out with your salvation by attempting to repent of your sins.
God grants repentance unto the acknowledgement of the truth.
*Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.*
When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life!
How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance?

Mathew 7:21-23 describes the fate of the faith plus works equals salvation crowd.
Acts 16: 31, " And brought them out and said, sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.."
Not:
Make a commitment.
Promise to follow Jesus.
Actually follow Jesus.
Surrender your will.
Pick up your cross daily.
Make Jesus Lord and Master of your life.
Repent of your sins.
Give your life to Christ.
Ask Jesus to come into your heart.
Etc.
No, those are works of service and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.

Doesn’t anyone find it concerning that Christ is coming soon , the world is in chaos and millions of people are dying and going to hell and all Joel is concerned about is telling people to “chase their dreams” or “fulfilling their destiny”? Yet the condition of a person’s soul means nothing. As if he couldn’t care less. It’s a world as if God only exists to give you whatever you want at your beckoning call. But Christ is just an afterthought.

@@dionoram I used to hear that he was coming soon back in the 80's but that never made sense because there was no way the masses could have been deceived back then in my opinion. I didn't see a great falling away at that time. I can't pin point an exact year but beginning sometime in the last 15 years or so we have seen the start of this in my opinion. People will either believe anything or in many cases nothing at all.
But to be clear I am definitely not making any claim. This may not happen for hundreds or even thousands of years for all anyone knows. I do know that it at least seems possible now for the first time in my life.

I lost my first born son at birth in a foreign country. My wife and I were barely into our 20’s and completely devastated. We needed the peace that the song so beautifully conveys, not the cheesy, smarmy, grasping, greedy, self aggrandizing, charlatan smile from a huckster preacher.

John 10:10 DOES SAY, That I came that you might have life and have life more abundantly. Jesus does want that for His followers. That does not mean more money to buy worldly stuff, but it does mean peace, divine assistance, grace, mercy and several other blessings from our Lord. Abundant life begins the moment we believe in Him, not the moment we die.
It is sad that there are so many who neglect the word of God which guides and protects from false teaching.
I remember the flood in Houston and Olsteen wouldn't open the church for people to take refuge in.

Hey pastor Daniel, hey I have an uncle who is part of The Almighty church from China these people are cultic and my uncle tried to use those teaching to us but I know the Truth and I stopped him from those false teachings, look into those people, because they believe that Jesus has not finished the work of salvation, and that Jesus is coming again incarnate again, please help me

Jesus did not only come for our sins, he also mentioned that he is the Way the Truth and the life. With that follows the characteristics of God. I don’t know how you teach about God but you are misaligned for posting such. I don’t like pastors who do what you do. That’s not righteous living. Preach the Gospel correctly instead or mocking and looking for faults in others. Let God handle that.

I knew Joel Ministry after studying the bible in Calvary Chapel for years then with the wonderful Charles Stanley, I can tell you Joel's ministry has nothing to do with money as you try to defame, talking is cheap.
When you go to Lakewood, you're left hungry to seek God, to know His word, and it has nothing to do with the lewd way you try to make Joel see about money and prosperity.
It may not be well in our physical body, but by Gods, Jesus's, the Holy Spirit, it's well all around! We the know the truth in God, Jesus, know that in this life our bodies will suffer if we're truly in the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit!

I used to go to a mega church that preached messages that God will curse you if you don’t tithe. Years later the pastor was found guilty for funnelling the money the church collected to help his wife to pursue her career.
After that I enrolled myself in a Bible school to study biblical theology for myself because I don’t want to be deceived again.

The Spafford's lived in Chicago, to get to New England (Connecticut, Main, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont). They would of traveld by train. No, the Spafford Girls drowned on the Ville du Havre, it was going from New York to Havre, France. Anna Spafford (the wife) sent the 'Saved Alone' cablegram from Cardif, Wales. She is there a day or so then she continues to France. If you read the 'Saved Alone' cablegram, she gives her contact address innfrance. Porclain 54, rue somthing, Paris.
I agrea that Olsteen is a false teacher. In one of his books, he writes about the Spaffords. At least in the book he honours them by getting the basic details correct.

I can say this when Joel’s father was preaching he did nothing like Joel does today John Osteen did not ask for money as his son does. They are completely different his father was more humble than Joel. Joel never ministers about hell and God made hell for sinners for murders for liars. Joel better seek God there are very hungry people here in America there are children who has no parents nor a good place to live. God doesn’t give luxuries such as jets to fly or a home big enough for more than 1 family to live in or homes. God says in the last days many ministers will fall along with their church. Tithes and offerings is not just the Church money it belongs to the people of that church. The money goes to the people who cannot make ends meet every week such as food,medicines, household bills. It seems he spends it all on all of his homes and vehicles and planes. My riches are in heaven with eternal life with my Lord an Savior Jesus Christ.Joel and your wife needs to teach all God’s Word in the Holy Bible not parts of it. If a person does not receive their salvation or backslides from God they will go to hell.
So if you know hell is for sinners you don't need to be told that all the time do you? I myself get beat up enough by coworkers, family and so called friends. I need to hear how special I am to Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Not that I am going to Hell. Also Salvation is personal no pastor will save us.
