Man the relationship between Luke, Laura and Lucky is what made the show for me. The acting between Jonathan Jackson and Anthony Geary in this scene is bone chilling.
I watched GH back in the day when Laura and Scotty were still together and I just detested Luke Spencer and kind of his portrayer Anthony Geary. ( I know, unfair of me). And.seeing this, I can see what an amazing actor Tony is.
I feel Julie was the best Lulu. But there was something about genie. In my opinion she was arguably the most beautiful girl in all of tv n movies bk then
This is one of thr best TG scenes. Dayum he can act. I understand it is hard for people that didn't watch LnL from the beginning to understand the disco scene. Laura was so conflicted. She wanted Luke, but she wanted to be a good wife. She liked how much Luke loved her ,but she wanted to stay faithful to Scott. This scene is so powerful. Good soap stuff here. JJ rocks it as usual. TG, GF and JJ all have insane chemistry.
I'm so glad you enjoied watching taht again. I haven't watched that in a long time so it was great to see again. I know itwas an emotional one but they both did so well I had to suggest it and I agree that any day we get to see Jonathan and Tony together, is a good day. And just as a side note, Ghfan51184 and I are twins so that's why the screennames are so similar. We do get that a lot with wondering if we're the same person and I always think it's funny. Again great video as always.
I believe Laura did want Luke, but not by force. Under other circumstances, he never would've done it. But where he was in his own mind, plus the alcohol, led him to take that terrible action. I don't know why Lucky confronted him. Knowing the details didn't help the relationship between father and son.
I agree. In real life, I believe a parent should not have to explain things about their past to their child, unless its to help the child not make the same Mistake or provide wisdom.
I always hated Jonathan Jackson constantly saying "man!" That shows a cheap spoken word crutch, when he was talented enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with Geary.
DAMN IT!!! It did NOT start with the rape!! Soo many ppl think that because we did not have your technology and a LOT of episodes were taped over, and many just disappeared. We WANTED L&L together BEFORE "Night At The Disco". We felt his pain, his love and need for her, we also watched as she fell hard for him. He puts it so well here...That's how it was, back & Forth, Push & Pull. It was like this game of Cat & Mouse. We started watching because we were rooting for Laura & Scotty, But then Luke showed up and the chemistry was INSANE! We KNEW if was all going to come to a head and explode, but we had no idea how, when, or where. Night At The Disco took us all by surprise, and yet when it happened for reasons I can't explain we lost our minds, we now wanted them together more then ever!! I know it sounds crazy now looking back, but if you had seen it all play out before hand you would understand better. You do great vid's. But I simply do NOT feel what happened to Liz is the same as Laura. Laura wanted Luke, she wanted to cave, but she was 17 , married, confused and overwhelmed by her feelings for Luke.
I watched this whole situation when it first aired.. & this was rape. No means no.. even more so when you are dealing with a teenager like Laura. Thanks for sharing your thoughts…, this was a difficult situation & scene. All of the involved actors were awesome 👏
@@Leahschoice1 I agree it was Rape. I just hate comparing it to Liz. Liz was attacked and raped by a stranger. L&L were a lil different, because THEY wanted each other. Laura wanted Luke but as you said she was scared, confused, married, n so young.
I agree with both of you. Laura did love Luke, but he was wrong for raping her. I think they would have got together eventually, because the chemistry between the two were off the charts. Looking at it now it was very disturbing and really insane. Even when they were with other people the love was still there.
He didn't seem that drunk to me, though he was drinking. He seemed mostly hysterical with grief, & panic bc he didn't want to die. He did tell her to leave repeatedly too.
There's something so special about GH in the late 90s and early 00s, the plotlines were so good. I miss this kind of storytelling.

As far as I'm concerned JJ was the ONLY Lucky!

That entire storyline with Elizabeth and then the fallout of the storyline of Luke and Laura is still one of the most memorable plotlines of GH.
I feel Julie was the best Lulu. But there was something about genie. In my opinion she was arguably the most beautiful girl in all of tv n movies bk then
Never saw this scene before. Wow.
Tony is so handsome in this scene. First time seeing this. Wow

This was deep!!!!

The whole of Port Charles confronting Luke and Laura at Laurel's memorial that is a classic scene you have to watch that. Leslie C. All I have to say
Let me know if you want the vid

Luke raped Laure.
She screamed in terror.
He tore her clothes off.
He VIOLENTLY raped her.

Do Jason and Sam from 2007 breaking up
Did tony won an Emmy for this or not
I believe he did yes. And well deserved of course.
I am confused. If he was drunk then how could he remember her appearance
