    Faith is truly the only armor against the enemy. I keep faith. As a single mom things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them especially now that I’m homeschooling them because my hours to work are limited. I suffered an heart attack two years ago and I’m battling lupus my health isn’t the best. Yet God gives me strength. I will keep faith as I constantly struggle to pay bills and I constantly struggle to buy groceries for my children. The devil wants me to give up. But I know God Gives His Hardest Battles To His Strongest Soldiers. Jesus is King and I will serve him no matter my struggles.

    This is amazing and timely.
    The evangelical prosperity gospel is undone by the humbly, grateful desire to please God and thus be pleasing to God.
    It took 7 years of grazing as a cow for Nebuchadnezzar to realise where all blessing, glory, and power truly came from. What a true joy it must be to be removed from the arrogant, presumptuous, self exalting church of man and be refocused on the head of *his* body.
    Very timely, indeed.

    Is it really that astonishing and so unimaginable to some people who say they believe that God is... Well... God! That they have trouble with knowing that He is unlimited and absolute in everything there is of Him?!! Seriously?! There are actually some people who don't just automatically imagine God as perfect, unlimited and absolute?
    I'm sorry, but am I so unusual? And I'm nobody special! And I'm a fairly new True Believer!
    I absolutely trust our Brother in The Lord Paul Washer. It's just shocking to me that he even has to give a talk or sermon about this! I'm shocked that there is actually ANYONE out there who claims to be a Christian and, hopefully, a True Believer that could possibly think there is anything that God even might be incapable of!! Our Lord God Almighty who is easily capable of ANYTHING and EVERYTHING He might want to do!
    So there are people out there who don't think and believe this when they think about Him?
    Wow!
    I must trust and believe The Lord for everything with me!
    Certainly not us! We would just mess it up! Being broken, unclean and wrong from the corruption of sin in the Garden!
    It's ALL Him and Thank Him that it is all Him!
    Amen?! Amen.
    Hope this helps.
    I love you all!

    Hi guys, this is not a criticism of Pastor Tim, I would just like some clarification.
    In Tim’s video “What must I do to be saved?”, he states that unbelievers should not try to believe that Jesus died for them specifically. If this is the case, then in what sense should I, As an unbeliever, believe in the atonement?
    As someone who is seeking Salvation, the most comforting aspect of the gospel for me is the concept that “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures”. But I’m confused about whether I can believe that Christ died for me (or in what sense I can trust in the atonement of Christ).
    It sometimes seems that Tim points people more to the person of Christ, rather than the finished work of Christ. To “call upon him until he saves you” rather than trusting in what Christ has already accomplished. I’m not criticising him, I’m just asking for clarification, as a lot of people (for example Geoff Thomas) would tell people to trust in the finished work of Christ (even saying that Christ “died for you”). This is especially confusing when Paul said “we preach Christ Crucified”.
    Would appreciate clarification as I am struggling with this myself,
    Kind regards and thank you.

      @illbehonest  9 місяців тому +1

      I think you might be overanalyzing and overthinking all of this... I know the video of Tim's you are referring to, and in that video he was dealing with a specific aspect, but if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't focus on that. Rather go and trust the LORD and follow on after Him. Don't make this about having the right faith, or type of belief...yes, look to Christ and what He has done and follow the LORD. Some get TOO FOCUS on analyzing their type of faith and where their eyes are...when ultimately their eyes are on SELF and not on the LORD.

      Jesus died for the World! Without faith it impossible to please Him because you must believe that He is and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, Hebrews 11. 2 Corinthians 5 says that we Ambassadors for Christ are calling all to reconciliation to God through Jesus Christ as God was reconciling the World through Christ, you must put your faith in Christ, of course. Calvinism is not true. If Jesus didn’t not die for the World, you will never know Jesus died for you. Jesus died for the world. Learn more at Soteriology101 UA-cam blessed holiday season

      @@Wombwell19 Immediately. It's kind of like asking, "If I give myself to a certain man to be his slave, will he soon be my master?" Repent and believe the Gospel, genuinely treat Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, and he won't delay to save you. The Bible says those who believe have eternal life; it never mentions a waiting period for God to save.

    An ordained Sunday seminary graduate, with a video titled, "God is a rewarder of those who seek him." Sunday, as the Lord's day, is not seeking God. Enjoy your joy, for just getting salvation is not the goal, but the reward.
    The reward of blessed sainthood, simply by doing what Sunday Christianity can't bring itself to do.
    The commandments of God.
    Rev. 12:17, 14:12, 22:14

  • @eltonron1558
    @eltonron1558 9 місяців тому +1

    God is a rewarder of those who seek him. Sunday Christianity has it's own Lord's day, they apparently aren't concerned with reward. Counted least is the goal.
    Worship in truth, is blessed sainthood. Worship in a man made doctrine Lord's day, is only salvation.
