Is it just me that's thinking the magical girl is a guy ?
Why The Great Jahy-Sama is better than Horimiya?
I’ve never seen or heard of this anime before but I already love it from just seeing the fifth episode (or at least a clip of it) on UA-cam
I heard she's supposed to be a teenager, but I think it's way funnier to imagine the "Magical Girl" is a 27 year old woman wearing frilly dresses and fighting evil with the power of friendship

I could be wrong but it seems to me like Jahy really is a toddler or at least very young by demon standards. Otherwise she wouldn't look like this in her 'magic-less' state. It would explain a lot of her behavior if she was a child doing her best to appear mature.

The most unrealistic thing about this scene isn't the real magical girl, the demon who takes the form of a small child, or the cute Landlord of Doom. It's that the cops arrive within literally a half minute from when they are called.
I've never lived in Japan but I imagine they have faster response times than the U.S..
@@robocu4 Not half a minute or less. EIther this apartment is right next to the police station (pretty much literally) or they were on patrol and just happened to be within say, a block. Thus this would be an usually fast response even by Japanese response times.
Cops in Japan have barely anything to do even the yakuza and triads don’t cause any trouble so there must of been a couple of cops sitting in their car bored out of their minds when they got the dispatch
What "liberals" think will happen when they call the police.
This is Japan, not the United States. Japanese police officers don’t really have a lot to do.
literally, if more shows would just call the cops, from the start. 99% of animes would resolve things in the 1st episode.

She's a cut throat land lady who charges high but she's not heartless. given how she seems to act normally it's likely money is tight for her to.
See, this is why magical girls only work when they're middle schoolers at their oldest. A grown girl in a cutesy outfit is suspicious indeed, especially if they're stealing from a cute goblin.
