Nevis Living Room Ensemble | Worldwide Auld Lang Syne

The third of the Nevis Living Room Ensemble projects has brought together our musicians with 500 participants from 130 countries to perform Scotland's favourite song - Auld Lang Syne, by Robert Burns as a virtual choir and orchestra online.
Musicians were invited to sing a verse in their own language and here you can hear lines in Shona (Zimbabwe), Arabic, Bengali, Tamil, Icelandic, Berber and many more!

A big thanks from us at Nevis to everyone who worked so hard to bring this together, and it has been wonderful to make connections across the world during this difficult time. The Nevis family now extends from Colombia to Vanuatu, via Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Argentina and more than 120 other countries!
During the COVID-19 crisis, Nevis Ensemble will continue into our mission to bring music to everyone, everywhere.
