Raced as a kid and can relate to all this. Would love to race again, seeing the leaders speed as they lap you is truly humbling, try not to crash into them !

Honestly the first race is the one that gives you the most anxiety. It's awesome that you were able to have little battles in both motos, that's what really makes it fun. My favorite races will always be the ones where you and another guy keep going back and forth.

I bought Bucci 160cc tuned f15 (I think?) pitbike two weeks ago. My first ever bike. Planning to do MINI MX in Latvian NC when season opens. Every week since I got the bike, I cant wait for weekend to come, so I could do some riding. Forecast shows - 2 Celsius ( 28.4 F) but I think I dont care. I ll try anyway. I hope to experience something similar to what You were showing in this awesome video. All n all, I hope You keep having a great time on you bike and it doesn't break a lot too. 420

Honestly just finishing your first race is way more important than ranking higher. Sure its bragging rights, but it's better to survive and enjoy your first experience and be back for more than get injured and turned off from racing by pushing yourself too hard. You can push yourself to perform better in the next race, at least thats what I think

Glad she helped give you the push, mate; there's nothing quite like that first race, or racing in general, really. People tend to become _so_ much more confident once they realize that they're actually good enough to race and battle other riders on the track.

My first race is this weekend. I'm kinda nervous cause I haven't been on a ride for a few weeks and I just got my bike back from suspension work. I'll literally have 1 hour to practice... wish me luck hahaha
Ride single track on your MX bike, it helps with the "Fit" part, also MX33's are the best tire i have ever ridden.

Honestly the rowing is probably the most important one for upper body strength, only running and bycicle riding wont gain you alot for Motorcross, if anything even lol

Motocross looks insanely fun
Suspension is what keeps you safer. I see so many crash because of a blown shock. Your shock can be blown without it leaking it's called emulsification.

hey man just gonna let you know having a full tank of gas into always recommended before a race it adds more weight from gas you wont need you wont be using it all in one race i would run 1/4 or 1/2 tank to save as much weight as possible for the short motos.
