Delightful satire sharply acted and scintillating singing. We may look forward to every number in this production with the same merriment with which the principals sing each rollicking number.

I couldn't agree more. Princess Ida is my favourite G & S opera by far and this version stands head and shoulders above any other I have seen.

Princess Ida contains many of G&S's best songs...but in one of their worst shows. The Gondoliers has a similar problem.
