Exactly. I agree with everything you said. To me, as much as I love hearing him dropping the F word, this song is a huge statement. It's Jungkook's haegeum. For an audience that's not into kpop this might seem like a regular song after all, we hear much worse everyday in western music. But for a kpop artist? This is big. I respect him even more for the ballsy move.

I remember having the same feelings when Miley broke up with her child star image. I was proud of her for being brave enough to go a little crazy and risk losing some fans in order to free herself. I doubt JK will do everything Miley did, but he will have my support regardless! He grew up a long time ago, actually. Thank you for your reaction, Roscoe! Your facial expressions and hilarious comments made this viewing extra enjoyable. Superb vocals and choreo, JK gave us a masterful performance. Sure, he's saying he's all grown up in the most earthy way but this is just him taking the opportunity to express himself outside of the strictures of the BTS framework - just like his hyungs had done in their solo work. People are saying what a brave thing to do but, for what it's worth, JungKook said "I'm grown up and my own man" in a more courageous way when he got his body art and piercings way back in 2020 (or 2021?). Considering how K-pop and K-entertainment strongly censured things like tattoos and piercings, that is a very brave move indeed. He broke that particular path and Jimin followed his example, getting his own beautiful tattoos. Of course, all the members got their "7" tattoos after declaring their hiatus in June 2022.
She wasn't in the dance video so out of respect for her part he just left the stage so we could listen to her directly and it'd be no distraction because of dancing.
You notice after she finished her part he came back on the stage with his dancer to start again.
BTS have always been respectful with any artist they collab with.

This video is way more appealing than the "clean" one-- no stalking, no slurping from Latto--just lots of sexy dancing.
