I think that their should be a subterranean tunnel that crosses to the the island where passenger shuttles carry people and cargo to the island.

How come any plans for Drakes Island never comes to fruition..? Such a shame.. What it doesn't need is cold soulless architecture though for sure.. More Heritage design all the way...
