I have the original one of these with the big metal frame (poles). Was in Cornwall when the met issued a Red weather warning for strong winds. Being Cornwall we were at the top of a hill beside the sea so made sure everything was pegged down and the awning was retracted. By the morning our tent was one of three left standing. Bits of tent and broken poles all over the place and families heading off dumping camping equipment in bins provided. I can honestly say my Kampa Croyde 6 is amazing and still going strong and I would 100% buy another Kampa tent.
The main two differences is that the Croyde has an enclosed front porch and also the size of the tent is different., The Croyde 6 overall size is 740 x 410cm where as the Hayling 6 is 690 x 380cm.
