- Hi scrappy friends, Come check out how I’ve cleaned up my ephemera so I cannot see it better plus know what I’ve got! Please make sure to check out my scrappy friends as well! Thanks so much for watching 🤗
Very inspiring Friend...really has me thinking. 🧐😊💕
Thank you for inspiring me.
I just found your channel and enjoyed this one on organizing ephemera. I’m going to join and watch some more of your videos!
You made amazing progress! I love your thought process on the embellishments that don’t belong with a collection.
Thank you and boy did I find some treasures! TFW 🤗
Great ideas!!
awesome organization tips and ideas . TFS
Thank you, it seems to always ebb and flow - TFW
It’s so important with organization to know what your style/how you process. I love my binders but I put the ephemera on the out side of the page protector because no way was I going to pull them in and out. I also know I would never make the wax paper sheets like Janet and so far it’s worked. But I can’t stand digging through a bin so it works for me and makes the effort worth it. Hopefully moving them will help you to use them but if you like the bins and envelopes I would say stick with that because it is less work than the binders. (Imo) Thanks for sharing and hope your changes prove successful.
Hint: I place items that I need to see and use up, in a basket on my workplace.
Then I call it a basket. Learned this from another crafter and adopted the idea.
Such a great idea! I seem to have a few of the "bashkets" lining my desk :) TFW
Great organization of your ephemera. I just have my photo corners in a 4X6 plastic photo box (maybe it’s a 5x7 one?). That’s how I keep my frames, too. But, I forget to use them. I’m thinking to keep these things near my desk and then have a laminated checklist that I review as I create the page kits. You know: part 1: pp, cs, 6x6, scraps, part 2: sketch, photo(s), part 3: tearing, inking, distressing, dies or mixed media, part 4: stickers, die cuts, chipboard, cut files, frames, photo corners, ribbon/trim/twine, flowers, washi tape, wood veneer, acrylics, etc. and part 5: enamel dots, sequins, gems, baubles, mm splatters. Just be as comprehensive as I can be. Everything doesn’t have to go in the page kit but the kit does need a reminder note of what it needs and the things need to be near my desk, not in the closet.
I keep a list as well but I need to break it down further to include some things that I have been missing like photo corners and even tiny puffy stickers! So blessed that I have quite a few things. I like the idea of storing them in a container - thanks for sharing and watching :)
I like to use containers that I get at Hobby lobby. They are clear and they are perfect for anything that is 6 inches wide or less. The containers are $5 and they were great for my close to my heart, 6 x 6 pads, and would be great for the 5 x 5 pockets that she is using. I also use those pockets for small stamp sets.
I love this set up. I am curious about the width of the clear container you have these pockets stored it. I bought a few that are both too wide and too; the pockets don't stand up as well as I'd like. I want to be able to see them. But I'd also like a container I can close.
The way I want to organize,
I want/need to go through everything and put together my projects I have/had in mind and get rid of the rest, I’m donating to Jacobs center wer the have a big craft room, can’t wait to get started, cuz it’s a mess and have to much I have not used
Dawn, thank you for such a great video.
I would love to have or buy your Disney ephemera.
I have a lot of pages to do with my grandkids birthday for Disney on ice and an upcoming Disney cruise. 5:17
